Its not about calming down mate he picks the ball off the floor and umpires goes to third umpire now if indians said it did carry which you full well know when you pick it up off the floor *** did umpire go to third umpire.
 
ok enough of that catch, you have your own view which no one can force you to change and in my point of view Dhoni didn't claim the catch, hence did not cheat. End of argument.

A good score by SL especially considering that they were 170 odd for 5. However the pitch looks a very good one, so hopefully SL can bowl well here to get hold of the so called No. 1 team.
 
SL have atleast 20 runs more than the par score , so no doubt this will be a tough chase ...should be very good chase before the finals

To be honest, the game needs more people who have personality :(. It is so much better to follow the game when the characters have personality. Look at the difference between kallis and pietersen. They are both skilled players but who gives you greater fun to watch. Even ponting wouldnt be ponting if he wasnt aggressive. I think the game is richer for the antics of these people.
 
man this is excellent planning by SL, they didnt give him anything short and hittable and a consistent offstump/outside off line to screw him up.

On a serious note, Sri Lanka should definitely be in the top 5 atleast. Just goes to show how cacked up the ICC rankings are

Jeez i thought maybe it was just for one series or something but Sanga is really turning the Lankan's into a bunch of cheating whiners. The appeal against Yuvraj was atrocious.

Well brother, if SL play like this in the CT in SA then I will agree with you. They have played many many matches in sub continent and done well, but the real test will be in Australia, SA and even in New Zealand (don't wana mention England as England is totally out of sorts in ODIs)

ROFL what an eye for talent. The man has a 36 run average after 66 odis at the age of 22, and you want him out of the team. I would take Raina anyday over any of the other jokers half the teams have coming in at 5/6. (Collingwood?)

Well Pakistan didn't play that bad though they lost the series in SL.

Bhajji in for India... India were let down by the bowling considerably today, once they got a wicket, they never pressed on with the pressure, instead bowling wides and cooling the pressure off the batsmen.
 
Well SL will win this match, and if Dhoni wins the toss on monday and bats first, then SL will struggle.

man playing under lights in Sri Lanka is that bad..then they shouldn't play under these conditions there because its not fair..should have day internationals only..just to be fair to both teams..

Hmm? well its pretty well documented that playing under lights in SL is really crazy. I think there was some stat floating around; On an average in D/N matches in SL, team batting first wins 70% of the games or something.

But what you cannot take away from SL is their electric fielding and their bowling. I dont know if you watched the game, but Yuvi got worked out strategically, it was not even a contest. Like I said in my earlier post, great bowling by SL but it might be accentuated by the fact that the bowlers are getting something out of the slow pitch as well
 
Angelo gets his first 5 for!!!!!
The guys struggled against Pakistan in the ODIs and the Indians making him look like a very very good bowler.

Yes it does get a little tricky under lights, but don't think it only happens in here. Remember the Lahore ODI? where Pakistan got out for 75 and the 96 semi final at Calcutta, where Jayasuriya was bowling people around their legs.

It just that SL had a good day with the bat today and the Indians simply being unable to keep up. Most of them just couldn't read the slower balls of Kule and Angelo. Today it was the pressure, not the wicket that caused India's downfall.

someone said that Srilanka should score 280 so it would be fun to chase, this isn't Westindies C brothers this is the land of white smiles

Not the best way to celebrate being the No.1 ODI team in the world is it?

Unless a miracle happens its gonna be a big margin of defeat for India.
