i had started to like yuvraj during the group stages ... i thought hez becoming a humble man!
but now again his celebrations and over the top attitude is making me hate him more than before! :D
 
Match back in balance, if we get Mahela now India will be ahead

I believe Samaraweera was one of the Sri Lankan players who got injured in Lahore. A bullet penetrated 12 inches into his thigh.

45 valuable runs given from Sreesanth's 7 overs so far. ASHWIN would not have been this bad for sure.

Does Sreesanth realize he is bowling in a world cup final? He should never have been playing in this game

Gambhir says his secret (to playing spin) and his running between the wickets is thanks to the hours of street cricket he played in Delhi.

Sree is a lose cannon anyway, but to take such a big gamble in the final is even more illogical as he has hardly played in the tournament.
 
Dhoni's reluctance to play Ashwin is quite inexplicable. Ashwin was his team mate in CSK and did a commendable job with ball plus he was quite effective in the 2 innings he got to play in this WC

Exactly my thoughts as well. In fact here in Tamilnadu, local papers/channels have been saying the same for not having ASHWIN in the playing eleven. I just don't want to use any curse words in a public forum (i am so pissed off with the tactics of MSD so far).
 
This game looks more of a friendly than a final.

Will never beat the level of the semi-final btwn Pakistan n India.
 
Lankans play spin well. Maybe they would have hit Ashwin. You can't and shouldn't second guess decisions made on the battlefield.

Thank you!... exactly my point.. that has always been the problems with south Indians in general (and I am a south Indian myself)..they always think North Indians are conspiring against them!

just trust the captain and the management... of course they all want India to win.. and will make decisions that they think will benefit the team. The wicket is good for seam... you can't help it if Sreesanth can't get his **** together... He did start of well... Unfortunately Indians are sounding more and more like Pak PPers.. must be the influence of this forum.

I am more interested in knowing why Praveen Kumar is not playing. He is a much better bowler than Sreesanth..

Sreesanth belongs to the school of thought that believes the faster you bowl..the better bowler you can be... that is the single most reason why he keeps failing.
 
Hope Zaheer Khan does not get another wicket he wil be joint with Afridi as highest wicket taker then!

I think Praveen is still nursing his injured shoulder/knee (not sure exactly which part)
 
well above 260 is possible if they don't quick wickets at this stage
