At this rate Ozs will wipe out our deficit in few more overs and will be leading by the close of play.

ashwin is into the attack.
 
By the close of play if we can get at least 2 more wickets that will augur well for tomorrow's play.
 
Indications are clear, OZs wants to score as quickly as possible.

Even Cowan seems to be in a hurry to score some runs of Ashwin.
 
Hughes knows he is going to get out soon anyway, may as well go down swinging like Tarzan.

LOL. Couldn't agree better. He trying to play aggressive shots against even against good balls in this innings so far.
 
Mentioned on radio commentary: rumours coming out of the dressing room that Clarke is in big trouble with his back.
 
Kumar to Cowan, OUT, Cowan has been given. Bhuvneshwar gets a second, but this one seems to have pitched outside leg, plus Cowan has got a big stride in. This is slightly harsh, I think. He walks down the track, misses a length ball, but it has pitched half-half - half on the mat, half outside - and it still has a long way to go

Clarke has a bad back due to his bending over all the time to pick up his hair gel and male make-up.
 
If only we can ge another wicket or two by close of play then there is a very good chance of result by tomorrow afternoon.
 
On this wicket you need to play your shots. Plenty of runs if you play your shots.

He may not have scored much runs on this tour but he does consumes loads of balls which means he negates the possibility of enforcing a result. So in that aspect he is one of the dangerous guy from Oz batting line up.

he is fast approaching his maiden 50 against India in India.
 
Phil Hughes is best when he doesn't use his brain to think too much.

This Kumar looks like an honest bowler though. Good find for India. When Malcolm Yadav comes back they can drop Ishant and have Yadav and Kumar.
 
Barring few initial deliveries, Hughes has been very fluent in this short little innings of his so far.

That was a beauty to get smith.Swung in and then pitched and went just away.That too on this pitch.Bhuvi Kumar well done.

Wasn't much wrong Smiffy did there, he defended down the wrong line. Just a good delivery.
 
Hughes is not gonna stop his scoring especiallly when he gets a bad ball on his pads.
 
How many people are at the ground? Seems very quiet

Even paceless wonder Praveen would do better than Ishant. BTW, why is that all Aussie bats except Clarke play a good knock but fail for the whole series? Even Clarke is failing due to too much pressure.

Because they're not really that good. Being good means having a consistently high level of performance, and minimising the deviations in quality of performance. Coming up with the odd good knock doesn't mean that you are a good player.

If we can get through this last over without losing wickets, particularly Hughes, we will be in decent shape to press for a result tomorrow.
 
Fricking Lyon should've gone for a single last ball of the last over.
