India vs Australia - KL

I cannot see this game being completed personally. India will get away with it but it is always fun to see them get destroyed which they were getting.
 
I think it had less to do with the attack and more to do with the batting... What a fantastic display of shameless self-destruction.. wow. West Indies crashed the other day and India were threatening to do much better (at crashing that is), if only it wasn't for the rain! That rain completely messed up the players' mindset. It's as if they went in and had a long talk and decided they would push the CHOKE button once again...

for some reason i'm awake right now... but I dont think this rain will settle I'll just go to sleep now... that was funny while it lasted! That Johnson guy is having one helluva night!

India require another 135 runs with 5 wickets and 21.0 overs remaining

If you saw the equation that way, and seeing that Raina and Dhoni are at the crease, you'd think India are actually not doing that bad. If this rain stops, and IF the batsmen come out with the right mindset, they could actually still win... the way they're going now though maybe we'll see them all out by 50 :D

they keep cutting off the coverage and they won't let Ian Bishop say anything negative about India. When he starts to question they go to commerical. I find it pretty humrous.

Aus were without Gilchrist,Katich,Hayden,Symonds,Huseey & Lee. Still they found someone like Watson in first match & Johnson in second match to destroy oppostion batting.
 
A 2nd string Aussie squad are doing a fine job so far in this series. Their professionalism is incomparable.

Actually we have won test matches consistently in this decade outside. Compare this to 90's we were pathetic with 1 1/2 pace bowlers and spinners who couldn't turn the ball. But Post 2000 we won test matches in Eng,Aus,WI,SL,PAK,Zim,BD. We toured NZ once this decade but pitches were shocker. SA traditioanly are nightmare for us. Overall we didn't set things on fire but we weren't as bad as we made out to be.

PAK did win vs NZ & SL,any other?

More than than India. We won those series not just a test match. And this is supposed to be the height of your powers comparing to one of our lows. Winning a test match is constituted as success by your self well I guess that says it all.

You won test series against NZ & SL. We won test series against PAK & WI. We drew against AUS & ENG. I am still waiting which other series u won abroad except for those 2. If those were the only 2 then we are on the level.

Really? Thx GOD. Rain saved us. Batsman needed to get their act together amd have some stratgey against Johnson. I say bring in Dhoni in front and blast this guy.

What is the point inthis tourney?

we have two top quality international ODI sides in west indies and Australia and then a third team being a minnow who are there to make up the numbers!

ICC might aswell have given malaysia ODI status rather than india!

yaar.....terrible performance today! It's only fair the rain saved us because I can't think of the last time it did....on the other hand it's been cruel to us already in this tournament, and also in two tests against the West Indies.

All aside, poor performance but we'll be back...it's a must game for us on Tuesday night!
 
Pathetic display by Indians. And about Australia, well only thing that can be said is if ICC allow Aussies to field Australia (Seniors) and Australia B team in 2007 world cup, they are almost sure to compete against each other in final.
We may speak about there ageing players or whatever but those guys are still winning when they are playing the worst they possibly can.
