Why is it so hard for England to take a wicket? Getting absolutely belted out there.
 
It was a dangerous sign for England since Sehwag decided to play carefully in first 5 overs. :)
 
I don't think England bowler gonna takeout Sehwag , only a brain fart by Sehwag himself will make it possible.
 
Broad has bowled good line earlier, let's see how Viru and Gauti tackle him now.

Gambit is seriously out of form. He looks scratchy and totally unsure of his footwork.

Rahane should have been playing.

For someone reason it reminds me of that infamous video where Gambhir is trying to act all aggressive in a video and is trying to punch a punching bag but ends up losing the contest! :)))

Ball should reverse swing a bit later. England bowlers doing good job on ball.
 
I have a feeling Zaheer gonnabe effective on this pitch after after 10 over.
 
No wicket before Lunch. Very good session for India. But in order for openers to be fully in form, they both must score 100s.
 
Pretty boring already.

Bowlers look depressed. Indian batsmen dominating the session-1 completely.

Gambhir is playing for his place in the side. He did not look comfortable at all.

Good start by India but I expect England to pull it back as they start to get the ball tio reverse

As if all the teams been dying to score on these pitches and visitors been giving stiff competition all the time.
 
Sehwag has made this look better for batting than it actually is. gambhir has struggled for timing and could have been out so many times. I expect a few other batsmen to struggle as well.

So important to convert this to a big 100 now and not throw away this start.
 
I hope for England's sake the ball starts reversing. Otherwise they may feel pretty stupid to play three seamers and leave out Panesar on this pitch.

I know the pitch is mediocre but I'm loving the atmosphere. Test cricket sounds better loud.
 
Finally, Gambhir's struggled innings comes to an end.

Swann was simply bamboozling the clueless Gambhir throughout this inning.

If it is flat, then England shouldn't get out twice on the pitch. Both sides play on same pitch

Scoreboard pressure, pitch breaking up etc. Draw is the most likely result but India can win as well. After losing the toss on such a pitch, difficult for England to win.
 
Gambhir is shadow of his former self.

Can't play Pace bowling and most importantly can't play SPIN bowling (which he used to do better a year and half ago)
