England were slightly negative, despite the slow nature of the pitch.

Probably even so far. England need 300 at least tomorrow.

I think the way pitch is playing, its will only get worse as the game goes on. 300 + should be a good total on this pitch.

Oh boy! how toothless is India's bowling. Even on such a track they couldn't get England out in a day. Ajmal alone could knock over England twice in a day on this track.

Why don't India just play 11 batsmen?

did you even see the match before trolling ?

dont know ... Boycott said 300 was a good score but that was in the 1st session . later everyone said it was playing better . fact is,there is low bounce,no turn & having 2 seamers is a big advantage for England.

I think 300 is a safe score, won't be good score by any means after watching the last 2 sessions. There's nothing in the pitch for spinners till now, Ishant bowled well with some help from the uneven pitch but interestingly bounce is good when spinners were bowling.

All I felt was both teams had a set of different predetermined plans and went their way no matte what.

India could've attacked a bit better when England were at 139/5 but Dhoni took a back step. Similarly England could've rotated the strike better with outspread field but the whole english team took a back step. As I said it looks like both teams had a predetermined plan.

250/70 should be the target here. Slow/low wicket and a poor outfield help them later on in the game.

imo, after getting caught with just 1 seamer here & losing the toss,Dhoni knew he was in trouble & hence plugged the field ... England is trying to draw . will this pitch crumble is difficult to say because it seems very well rolled .

good for India that Cook picked Bresnan.Onions or Meaker would hv been deadly

Wow super negative stuff from england, if they can scrape 300 here they are back in the game, but at moment india will fancy chances of forcing the game on day 2.

tbh, England were negative but we will struggle to get past their total as seamers looking good on this surface .

Wait...so the guy playing for England right now is named Root. I wonder what kind of banter he gets from a certain section in the crowd, if you know what I mean.

You guys keep on saying that but not accepting Dhoni had poor fieldings, very few in the catching positions.

Can you please explain why Dhoni had third man, deep point, deep square leg, long on when England were playing maiden after maiden?

If the field placements were like an ODI what you expected England? To play like an ODI and loose wickets?

India is the one who desperately need a win here not England, if you want to level the series you should attack not England.

Since when has Dhoni been known for attacking fields? I think one of the biggest criticisms he gets is the way he sets his field.

Then stop blaming the opponents.

India may go onto score at 6 an over but current England is not used to such a slow surface. They are doing it their own way. As you might have seen KP lost his wicket trying to score. Indians expecting everyone to throw their wickets away.

Ball is in India's court!!! Make a move if you want to win, else keep playing the way you play.

Viru will simply thrash from ball 1 .
