India vs Pakistan | Match 22, World Cup | Manchester | June 16, 2019 | India innings

Amir didn't take wickets early, the bowl was obviously not swinging. The pitch was batting friendly.

Aamir was bowling beautifully in the start, but the rest start leaking runs generating no pressure to take any wicket also India got proper batsman.

Also you never know Pakistan would have been 30/4 here and we would have blaming them for not bowling winning the toss in overcast condition.

Last over. We are already better off than what dls showed with the loss of 4 overs. Shows that it isn't a perfect system

Mamoon is a reasonable guy from what i’ve seen since i joined PP but using cricket to score political points is awful, especially against imran who is the only reason why people rate Pakistan to some extent.

He is very intelligent and perceptive and will easily be the best poster here if he balances his views and doesn't let personal biases cloud his analysis.

Kohli could’ve got a ton. He might not get a chance to get a wc ton against Pakistan. Unless he is still around for the 2023 WC.

Good bye guys - family socialization call. Sometimes, sunny days are quite disturbing in Canadian summer. Why couldn't it rain today :(

I can't believe this from Kohli. Had review available also available. Enough of this being a nice guy non sense on field.

Almost a reverse of CT17 final.

Will we chase it or fall in a heap like India did?

This lower middle order will haunt us in crunch games while chasing decent targets. No suitable replacement available too in the 15. So, its top 4 counting Shikhar in+ Occasional Dhoni blast.

Run a ball stuff from India at the end. They should have scored much more than this considering the position they were in but decent bowling from Pak at the end.

Idiot Shankar & jhadav can't even hit boundary ..pandya se campare karna band kar de bacche in idiots Ko

U can hear it so many time when its not hit ,do u see tests?

I have played enough cricket to know what happens he felt the jerk and heard the noise due to crack in his bat. Normally batsman knows if he got bat or glove dont only watch cricket with cricket ball also go and play it sometimes a snick on the bat is almost 99% felt by the batsman.

Yes but wasn't that a brief period of few years? We weren't exactly world beaters from 47 to mid eighties. Always dangerous but never really a top team. Also post 92 our ODI results were always pretty good. It's only the last decade where the talent has dried up.

I'd say 1976-1994 were the golden years.

We drew twice in Australia under Mushtaq Mohammed in the late 70s and reached the 79 SF. We were the only team to win a Test in the Caribbean in the 1980s, the only team to avoid defeat in a series in the West Indies between 1974 and 1995, the only team to win a series in India between 1985 and 2000, and did not lose a series outside Australasia between 1982 and 1993.

We were also unbeaten at home until 1995.

Then it all went downhill after matchfixing, infighting due to out of control egos, constant captaincy changes and inept admin.

India will be disappointed. They are 15 runs short of their arc. Good comeback from amir

337 target which is way too much for our batsmen. Expecting another duck from Fakhar, Asif and Malik.
India will win by 85+ runs.

I hope Babar Azam scores a hundred today even if Pakistan loses. At least he should show some class to the Indian bowlers as well.

15 off 15 should’ve been 25 off 15. Last two didn’t finish off as well. 350 was easy there to get.

India will win by 120+ runs.

I feel pak pulled it back will in last few overs, else 350+ was on cards....Aamir was magnificient...i can't believe you guys dropped him for the aus and eng series...what a super talent....i guess Fakhar will play his natural game and swing for the tall timber come ball one....and imam, babar, professor sahab and malik will be in the mix...pitch is bloody flat....good chase on the cards

Looks like we will have a full game. India should try to get to at least 340. That should be too much for the Pakistani batsmen.

Okay, 4 short of 340. More likely than not it will be enough. Go Team Blue!

Pakistan can still chase this and for that to happen, Fakhar should come out all guns blazing!

Amir/Imad combined for 96/3 in 20 overs ... India basically scored 240 in 30 overs off the rest
that's the game

Dont justify what he felt was truth, you will see himself criticising his desicion, and btw you talk about sometimes but many timr there is sound without edge too :-)

But blaming it all on 92 is a real stretch. I don't think it would have mattered much even if we had lost 92. We would have still been inconsistent given our infrastructure and mindset. But then again the point can't be proved either way so perhaps his opinion is as good as mine.
