Pak thick tank at its absolute best, They didn't paly a single spinner where they could have played even two vs Oz who is inferior spin playing team, and now tu over compensate that they are playing two spinners on a rainy day vs very good spin playing Asian team, they have lost this battle even before it started, They could have played Harris and he won't bowl any worse than this darter imad, and he is 5x the batter imad is.

People to this day bash Wasim for batting 1st in 1999 WC final, but when Sarfaraz makes the right call as per the conditions(rain & DLS expected) people still bash him.

Bowling 1st is the right call, now it's up to the bowlers if they can back it with performance.

I think bowling first was just about the right decision.
Probably a good toss to lose...

Against Aussies. We could have had them 10 for 2 if we had a little luck. Amir went past the bat a few times. Hopefully this time they Nick it and we catch them.

I really can't see our team to chase more than 200 against this Indian bowling

But you have to play the game with atleast 40 overs in mind and it probably will be a shortened game. So I would've picked Harris & Asif Ali instead of Malik & Imad.
I feel Pakistan is not bold enough to back Asif Ali.Yesterday though Sri Lanka lost, they really showcased that boldness. Pakistan should be like that. More adventurous in picking team & playing the game.You guys never win with a Defensive strategy in any format. Just doest suit Pakistan
 
People are talking about playing four seamers but our seamers bar Amir are just not giving us any control.
 
Too many spinning options for my liking. In a curtailed chase they will be butchered. Shami should have been selected in place of Kuldeep imo.
 
Pathetic decision from Sarfataz. You dont know how to chase and you have selected Imad wasim. Wonderful.

So he has done two things which Imran Khan advised against :

1) He bowled first

2) selected a railu katta.

Sarfraz should be sacked for electing to bowl first.

Yeah Virat and TM think this is the same batting side of 2011 which could chase down totals with ease , we have sucked at it for past 4 years . I just hope we don’t chose to chase in semis or finals if we get there
 
I think Indian team spent last few days practicing how to play against Amir and he is not going to click today since its not even going to swing.
 
This decision looks bad to bowl first. Because when you look at our batting XI you don't see them capable of chasing bug total

No Asif Ali, he seems like he’s low in confidence and that is the last thing i want.
 
Obvious choice to bowl first with possible rain during the day and D/L coming into it. But the question is can Pak chase 280+ against India at the WC?

KP says on Star that Pakistan is bowling in conditions that will favour them but having played under Sarfaraz and with Sarfaraz I would say that emotion could hurt Pakistan in a big game like this ..
 
So after winning the toss finally against India in a big game, our kaptaan decides to chase when we just lost our previous match while chasing and have lost all of our WC games barring one against India while chasing in WCs ... :)))

It's a game. Not life and death. No need to get so worked up about it all. I hope the lads play well and do themselves proud.
 
India's middle - to tail enders have not really been tested in this WC.

I think This is the first Indian Team I'm watching which is more comfortable in setting a target than chasing. Also Probably for the first time Indian bowling is better than its Batting lineup. How everything changes with time
 
If Pak loses this match, Sarfraz should retire immediately. You don’t chase when your team is full of brainless idiots. Just remember, we were 170-6 against Aus.

The thing is Pakistan got out 100 odd against Windies in bowling conditions. So if Pakistan had batted 1st it could've been possible, a collapse.

Good decision to bat first although should've inuded Asif instead of Imad. A power hitter could be crucial for quick runs if overs are reduced
