India vs Pakistan | Match 22, World Cup | Manchester | June 16, 2019 | India innings

Pakistan players have looked very nervous from the start and Rohit has been the complete opposite and taken full toll of the dross served by Hasan and Wahab. Will be very difficult to come back here with Sarfaraz's ultra defensive approach.
 
There is no way Pakistan is winning today, they are way too nervous and under pressure
 
If Pakistan is bowling first to exploit moisture or greenish wicket, there is no point bowling slow bowlers from both end and throwing some dollies.

Pakistan is strategically very poor.

They should have bowled first 15 overs with their three pacers and try to get some early wickets.

At this rate India will be scoreing 350 easiy.

Kohli: it’s just another game
Arthur: this game can make you into a hero

that's right. without dhawan, india only has 2 batsman at this moment. can't trust others.
 
It is hard to be a Pakistan fan. So humiliating to get beatings after beatings from Indians of all people. Thori si sharam hoti hai. Our superstars deserve tamatar and anday on their way back.
 
Bring Hafeez and Malik on for a couple of overs each. They might be able to force a mistake.

Happens every single time and every single time Pakistan crumble to the pressure.

It amazes me that this hasnt been addressed before, makes such a huge difference.

But things are not so bad. RR is still under 6 despite Sharma onslaught. One wicket and things can turn.

Still hope in this, but only just.

Just need to keep it as tight as possible.
 
Bowing good length deliveries is a basic thing which our bowlers have been struggling to do for couple of years now. Other things become useless if you cant even be decently accurate at international level.

Need to boot out the Fake Swag Trio of Shadab, Imad and Hasan after this World Cup and pick some proper spinners, and a pacer with control over line and length.

No need to do anything silly.

No experienced commentator has anything to say so far against Rahul who understand his crucial contribution.

Better to be 100/0 after 20 rather than 140/3
 
Man we have been getting pummeled by India for so many years now

We can't chase let alone against the other big teams but chasing 300 against India in a WC game is virtually impossible

India won last ICC tournament 5 year ago ( 2013) and you guys won just 2 year ago

Dunno about the other two but I've really started to dislike Hasan. When he's busting out that stupid celebration even in warm up games where he's gone for runs you know his ego has gone way to his head.

In any high level sport 99pct of it comes down to the mental aspect and we get this wrong each and very time. Didn’t expect it from Arthur...
 
Sarfraz should be sacked after this for bowling first. When did we ever win chasing in a pressure game?
 
OK- apart from one Indian (who played safe with 340), I think most Pakistanis are comfortable with a target around 250 which is also safe play - my hunch is 275+ should make a tight contest, ~300, IND safe here.

Now, this is a question for ****** (of both Ul Haq & Sarfraz) - these 2 guys are in charge for ~3 years now, has played over combined ~50 years of cricket ... much more than I have seen the world, let alone cricket ..... and they dropped both spinners against Aussies, now playing 2 spinners against Indians. Then, Captain cool brought Shadab with new ball against Sharma.

My question is - what could be the rational of these calls for the Revolutionary & the Oxygen. I have already mentioned, accepted that Mickey is a mouse when it comes to spin play, so he should be exempted here.

Some of nay sayers and keyboard critics on this forum field up a team.... how will they be playing even in street cricket?

A lot of whining n noise but no substance
