I don't understand why our media creates so much hype for this match we play with pressure while India plays proper cricket and always wins In the world cup.

Instead of fixing Amir, try to fix something that is not broken, crashed. Bring some tundler coach and teach your other pacers how to grip new ball first .... then comes control & using it. At present, Irish tundler Murtag can teach other PAK pacers few things about bowling with new ball.

If PAK indeed found themselves at 80-4, still it's possible to put a partnership, bat out 50 overs, post a target around 250, and try to catch Indian top order with new ball. Batting first, even I am not sure this dynamic top order and classy middle order is capable of chasing 250 against Indian spin attack.

India would have had no problems at all chasing 250. The pitch isn't going to change much.

If anything it was freshest early on, but Pakistan weren't good enough to exploit the little assistance there was. If should be best for batting at the start of Pakistan's innings, while the ball is hard.

Hasan Ali was always going to have a short career with his lack of height, unless he had supreme bowling skills bowling at 145km/h. Problem with bowling at that speed however, he would have broken down like Bilawal Bhatti. He needs to remodel himself into an pinch hitting all-rounder, if he wants to survive at this level. Faheem is a better prospect merely in tests played at SENA, as a number 8 batsman and 4th bowler.

Shadab gave us hope with his awesome googly when he was in his infancy, however it has gone missing. Also his leg-spin hasn't developed. Like Faheem he's a better prospect in tests because he has the composure to bat for long periods. But in ODIs, doesn't have the natural hitting ability to bat lower down the order, or the variation to survive in the shorter format. His development has also been stunted with no specialist spin bowling coach because even to this day, he hasn't been able to grasp the need to vary his pace.

It will be painful to watch this Indian domination for ex Pakistani players from the 90s who used to dominate over India.
 
Why are people assuming this Pakistan team cannot chase anything over 250? We have six proper batsmen and even the tail bats pretty well. 350 will definitely be very difficult but it's not like we're out of the game as soon as India crosses 300.
 
I was trying to save my resources in Fantasy cricket and decided not to change team too much in early stages. In last 4 attempts, my Captains were Shakib, Warner, Root, Finch .... today Sharma. For some reason, modification between AUS-PAK wasn't updated, while BD_SRL game got washed out :( I guess, today also Sharma will earn double points :)
 
Pak ain’t chasing anything above 250. Seriously need rain to start pouring in now and call it a day. The pendu management wanted to bowl first. You NEVER, NEVER want to chase. We lose our **** when chasing.

Our new ball bowling is atrocious. Every team gets off to flyer against us.

Even Rao Iftikhar and Rana Naved were a better new ball combination than what we put out these days. Only Amir seems able to put new ball in right areas - others think to bang it in short as if it's 1981 at the WACA.
 
Shadab could bowl all day from both ends and not look like taking a wicket.
 
Still don't understand why sarfaraz bowl first while we all know we can't chase more than 250 should have batted first.
 
Complete washout best outcome for Pakistan in terms of any semi-final chances now no doubt about it. **** for the spirit of the game but there you go.
 
India should kick themselves if they don't reach 400 here. There is nothing in this Pakistan bowling attack to worry about. Milk Amir for singles and go beserk against everyone else.
 
Guys whats this mentality? Losing is part of the game. If you can't digest a loss you might as well stop watching cricket alltogether. Pakistani fans are just so so annoying

Bilal please yaar don't do this optimistic routine. You can see with your own eyes these guys look beaten already.
 
India need to step it up, only 27 off the last 5 overs.

With this platform it should be 7 an over minimum until the 40th over, and then hopefully over 10s.

Cuz some people say that we chased against SA in January this year and won. Sarfraz should be sacked for this decision.

Oh man I have both Rohit and Kohli but I choose Kohli as captain, Rahul spoiled it for me, if only he got out early :facepalm:
