Game should be washed out, Pakistan are better off getting 1 point rather than zero. Live to fight another day and drop all the non performers, get players without any baggage

The shorter the game, the more chance of a Pakistani batsmen fluking a good score and winning it altogether.

I know your ego will never let u accept that you have been thrashed and humiliated by pandya, so its ok live in your bubble,indians have accepted pandya and thats what matters. Everyone from commentators to regular fans have praised him.

I don't think Indial will bat full 50 overs. They will dock a few overs. So Pakistan has to chase more than 305. i think 327 in 46 overs if they dock overs.

Looks like people are still miraculously hoping Pakistan will win 4 games on the trot and qualify for the semi finals and win the final and the World Cup.

What's ironic is, the same people who hope to win 6 games on the trot to win the World Cup, are hoping we don't chase 300 and it rains.

You can't be a coward and chose to win the World Cup.

It goes to the brave and the fearless.

Not sure if you've seen cricket in the last 4 years but 300 is no longer that big a score and restricting runs at that stage can still be very useful, just look at the Pak v England game as an example.

The deep the game goes the less the value of a wicket becomes in calculating DLS target. It's like a graph of 1 wicket value for runs going from top to bottom.

Its completly alright because ,it accounts on india not knowing match would be 46 over so they would have been accelerating long ago had they knew thats why dlls increas the score

Well Kohli is still there so there was always a chance of 350. But I agree with you probability wise and considering Shankar and jadhav as next India wouldnt have made 335+ so good for us if we don't have to bat anymore.

Yes he did....he said it when Amir did it for the second time and I agree with that. At no point did Nasser say there should be 2 official warnings in less than 3 overs.

If match gets completed by chance, anything below 25 overs, Pakistan will be favourite. Pakistan will be at a loss due to rain only if there are 35 or more will overs played.
 
Can somebody post the DRS requirements if this becomes a 40, 30, 25, 20 over game pls. Assuming India don't ask again

This is how I see it.

If the game goes awfully long its hard but possible and if its too short, its possible.

If its a middling score like 270 in 35 overs, that's just not happening.

Lol at thrashed by Pandya. His performance has been average so far with the bat. Bowling is useless as always.

Dhoni got dropped? Where? Do you even watch matches? And same fans and commentators who have accepted Pandya also respect the legend Dhoni which your ego will never let you accept. Rohit Sharma has exposed club level Pakistani bowling. What a player he has been for India, better than any batsman Pakistan has ever produced.
 
184 off 20 would be game firmly on and maybe even in Pakistan’s favour as the outfield will be wet and hence a wet ball...

Best hope is that this remains a full 50 over game. 20 over game is more achievable, but getting 298 off 40 overs is next to impossible.

Would be much better to chase whatever India get in the full 50 overs, plus it would be more satisfying, however unlikely.

Sharma was disappointed he gave it away at 140.

If he was still playing, India would be eying close to 380 and he would be 200 plus.
 
So lets say the game is delayed for 4 hours. What would that mean in terms of time left to play?

Rohit Sharma makes batting looks so easy, classy batsmen. For me he is like the top order right handed vision of Yuvraj singh. Sweet timer, makes it looks so easy, effortless. Yuvraj was like that in World T20 2007, early part of his career!

what mentality is this ??? sooo better to lose than this sort of mentality. I don't mind losing if the play goes on and we get a result. If you are afraid of losing then don't play.It is sooooo dignified to lose fighting rather than choosing this oppertunistic attitude.

I agree with that assessment but this once again highlight the ineptitude of something like DLS, how can Pakistan be asked to chase 33 more runs, in 4 less bowls than the runs India scored and the amount of balls they took to score them. It has been a flawed method back when DL used it and just as flawed since the addition of Stern.

Whats done is done,ofc he will be disappointed ,he got out to nothing shot,he never plays shot like these.

But then again only he is to blame...
