I criticise pitches very rarely. This is the first time I've done it since the Cardiff Ashes test. I dislike pitches which lack pace and bounce. Aussie roads always have pace and bounce no matter what, so I have no reason to criticise them. If the pitch is bad then tough luck, produce a performance or else.
If India scored 500 when they batted you wouldn't have heard a peep from me about the pitch, but even they struggled which is indicative that the pitch is not good enough for a test match. It is too far in favour of bowlers. I don't criticise Aussie roads because they are evidently not too far in favour of batsmen else Australia wouldn't be able to take 20 wickets.
