Good case of why follow on can be silly when your bowlers have bowled tons of overs already. Bowlers looking tired in the 2nd innings while the batters are fresh not having to grind out in the field. India would have been better off just to bat for a couple of sessions, score runs quickly and give the bowlers some rest while you completely demoralize the opposition and tire them out having to field.

I too was surprided when Gulli enforced F-on ... IND should have batted for 45 overs & perhaps 10 today , got 220ish & declared imo .

Sitting here and typing away where as he's delivered on the CT 2025, the Asia cup 2025 and took a rookie side to powerful England in their conditions and drew the series - actually dominated the series. Ours is also a team in transition and it aint easy to handle the personnel changes, having three captains for all the formats, the intra dynamics of a captain playing as a player, some guys playing only one format.
What ever he is, he showed the passion and reverance for playing for the country and now is showing the same in his position.

A lot of Ro-Ko fans blame Gambhir for retiring their legends - Kohli and Rohit from Tests. Imagine their reaction if Gambhir would have dropped them even before the NZ series.

that i agree - stadium is the ugliest morph of a parking lot/flyover/ turning stairs & badi mehrbaani they removed the unsightly paan masala advts that was plastered on every nook and cranny of this horrific aperture!

Great resistance by West Indies. From time to time they show immense application while batting. But this was some effort.

If only they put decent ads, the stadium will look much better.
