Thanks, recently we have done some good work. I was quite disappointed with the performances of our spinners at home in last 5-6 years but Ashwin-Ojha have picked up loads of wickets recently in India. That's a good sign, at the pace front talent keeps coming, we just need to nurture it properly. Yadan, Sharma, Sreesanth etc all have the gifts to be among the better bowlers.

Fan of Dinda, sure he can do well. Zak is on his way out. Pathan is in good form, how long will it last? Yadav is just decent. Ishant is very poor. Aaron is decent-sih. Pace bowling a major worry.

Spin is looking okay. Harbajhan is back. Ashwin is doing well although I don't rate him too highly(yet). Ojha is the best spinner. I like others too such as Iqbal Abdullah.

Murali Kartick in my view should be in the T20 team ahead of Harbajhan.

India's fast bowling is terrible and always has been, that's no secret. On a turning track where Zaheer and Irfan can become left arm orthodox bowlers (effectively) with their cutters, they can still defend a score. Tbh though India should always look to win the toss and bowl first, they can certainly chase big scores on these wickets and ground dimensions.

FYI - Just after T20 WC win against Pakistan, I have written here in next 1 year Ashwin will be better bowler than Ajmal. 9 months to go for that and I am still confident about it.

1st - Razzaq a devastating bowler is your misconception.
2nd - The reason I compared srinath to Pakistan's 2nd string bowlers in 90's, because even a child knows Pakistan is way superior in fast bowling (specially in 90's). So obviously comparing Srinath to A level bowlers like Wasim and Sohaib is stupidity. Like you guys cannot compare a single Batsman from Pakistan to Sachin, Gavaskar and Dravid.
What I meant is that atleast we had Srinath who was a very good bowler, even better than many Pakistani bowlers. But now our fast bowling is a laughing stock.

Yuvraj is our best bowler, says it all. Our bowlers do not seem to be looking for wickets really, they just try to contain and hope everything will go all right. And it rarely does. We need bowlers who are hungry for wickets in all formats, I don't mind the bowler being a bit expensive. If you dont get wickets you are going to be expensive anyway.
