This seems to be from a strong pro-right wing Indian source. I did not know whom the main speaker Gurumurthy is but a cursory search reveals he is an RSS member, journalist, and an economic/finance speaker.

This does not seem to be a typical anti-Pakistan focused shrill by RSS but seems a bit interesting. It is stating economic and financial facts that predict the impending economic collapse of the west. The speaker (Gurumurthy) opines that western dominance will wane by 2030 and will cease by 2040. He is such a strong critique of the US financial system.

I find this interesting because this opinion (impending demise of the West) is the exact similar to the opinions from strong Pakistan supporters in this forum as well. A rare bubble of opinion that has common ground between right wing Indian and right wing Pakistan opinions.

As much as I hate the anti-muslim and anti-Pakstan agenda of RSS clowns in India, this seems to be laden with economic and financial facts.

I've been hoping to have a logical discourse on the concepts in the points raised by this discussion like - bank based economies driven by a restrained social behavior of developing nations being more robust that pure capitalistic economies that pile everything onto the stock market, unsustainable printing of dollars by the US, high inflation in US and EU, China being more susceptible to collapse of US economy ... etc.

I'm sincerely hoping this thread does not devolve into the usual name calling or hate messages.

That is the point of such discussion/propaganda though, this is the reason there are many well settled families going back to India or many people in Comp sci and Business graduates choosing to stay in India.

I see similar posts on linkedn too personally i dont agree to it but it’s probably coz I don’t have siblings back home or an entire family network and I like American melting pot society.

Yes but you specifically name-checked British Pakistanis as hating the west, and the reason you gave was the downfall of the west. What I would suggest is don't attribute your own nation's resentments to the west onto British Pakistanis from an immigrant point of view. We have lived here a lot longer and can give better insight than you.

I didn't say downfall of the west I said among the reasons given by British Pakistanis on this forum, I don’t believe West is falling as its being made out by people living in Asian African nations.

Maybe next time I’ll tag you on those posts by your citizens so it becomes clearer.

[MENTION=137142]JaDed[/MENTION] I stumbled into right-wing Indian twilight zone due to a colleague on Linkedin who always comments on Indian issue. These rightwingers are more nuts than their Pakistani equivalents, they come up with crazy theories about India applying sanctions on Western countries who don't officially state that kashmir is occupied by Pakistan ( rather than saying disputed territory), genuinely feel that Indian rupee can be a global reserve currency and want Modi to do even crazier things than they do now.

What's strange is that unlike their Pakistani equivalents that you mention, who are high school drop outs and not degree educated, these Indians possess a pretty good education and work in top tier companies.

I agree to the last paragraph about Indian right wing but cannot comment on the degree to which Pakistani ones are nuts.

I don’t think I have commented on Pakistani citizens living in Pakistan, my comments have mostly been for British Pakistanis and they are not high school drop outs.

The economic decline of the West is just a fact. Ive not watched the video but Indians and most of the world agree with this.

If you check the Russia sanctions thread you will find reasons why this is occuring.

As for India, it will remain 3rd world due to around 2 billion population and some backward thinking such as 'Hindutva' ideology.

Most of the planet will suffer in one way or another. Only those with huge natural resources such as Russia, Middle East will remain solid economically or even grow as they will have huge control.

The West will have to change its whole financial system soon. Which is why they are creating the CBDC. When they go digital they will then be able to control peoples spending.

The WEF didnt say 'You will own nothing and be happy' as its catchy, they know what is coming. They also say we will need to eat bugs and insects when food becomes scarce.

The good times will be coming to an end by the end of the decade. The oly way to secure yourself is by accumulating hard assets such as minerals, gold, silver etc. Gold will hover around $2000 for a while and suddenly explode to a huge high.

High time we either start buying gold in the commodity market or actual gold from jewelers in that case.

Everyone thats predicting demise of the "West" does not realize one thing: such a demise will automatically take down the east-north-south as well. Just have a look at the size of the US economy and the number of countries that buy their debt. A collapse of just the US would be a catastrophic event unlike anything humanity has seen.

I have friends and acquaintances who left US after getting their Green Card and went back to India.
While low skilled illegal immigrants are running to US, some high skilled Indians are going back to India. I am sure they made enough to live a lavish life in India.

If the western/US empire is going to fall, then I think the new one would be based in Israel and think that would take decades if it were to occur.
