I am trying really hard to figure out what is special about Henriques, he has played 14 consecutive matches for SRH. He is like Jadeja of India, atleast Jadeja is a top fielder

I am not trying to defend Shakib. I wouldn't bother if he gets dropped tbh. Problem with KKR is they don't have too many match winners in the bench

Also, being best performer last year doesn't mean he should be an automatic choice next year. Personally i wanted to see Boult ahead of henriques to begin with. And to be fair Henriques has not done this year

I didn't defend Shakib. I have already said before that he has not done well in T20s. He has been below par in T20s this year. Did well in WT20s but otherwise has not done well in the two foreign leagues. But my point was meant for Shakib being expired.

I live in Delhi and have attended at least 20 IPL matches at Delhi and elsewhere. Forget the traveling team, local crowd abuses even the DD players in most colourful language.

DD had everything working so perfectly for the2n in the first half, then for some reason started way too many experiments and totally lost the plot.

Would have loved to see them in the top 4 instead of KKR who have been playing nearly the same squad and same brand of cricket for last 4-5 seasons.

I think to the contrary. In the past, batsmen used to play his balls for a seam up delivery but will suddenly be bamboozled by a cutter. But now (in this IPL) the batsmen who have played him well are waiting for his cutters and playing as if every ball is a cutter. Because he bowls a lot of cutters (probably in 60-70% range in this tournament), they are able to be better prepared and play him well. Even if it's a seam up delivery, it's not going to cause much problems to the batsman unless it's a yorker like the one Russell got out.

Today Pandey was clearly playing with an angled bat against him and was waiting for his cutters.

Bang on target. Its the shot selection as well. As I mentioned earlier, you need to adapt or else you will be found out soon. Fizz is still OK as he is intelligent but he's got very few weapons in his armory. Gone are the days where he was picking 5 fers for fun. Bhuvi has out bowled him this season because he can swing the ball as well. Mustafizur needs to learn how to bowl with the new ball as well if he wants to pick wickets. He just can't rely on cheap slog wickets alone.
