But then again, if a drunk bast-ard has to abuse a player or two, he does not need to ask for an autograph. Remember Inzi's incident in Canada...the idiot was sitting in the stands and was cursing Inzi and his family.

Why are India batting on? Do they have to play a specific amount of overs? Otherwise this is really stupid to let Mishra bat and bat. Is he there for batting or bowling? And they don't wana check if Zaheer is able to bowl 20 overs in a day?

Or India are afraid of losing the match? Or they just wanted to cross 300 so they can encourage themselves?

Zaheer bowling well here. Just conceded 24 runs in 3 overs at 8.0!

One bad thing for Northants is that after the rain wicket might behave differently but a good start nevertheless.

maybe india should give Nehra and Ashwin a chance, don't think they will do worse than the current laughable bowling lineup.
 
Zaheer Khan is injured again and is out of the 3rd test. It will be better to send him back to India for rehab. Doesn't need to play the ODIs either even if he is fit.
 
Will India get at least 1 wicket against the mighty Northants?

Even 1 wicket is a major morale boost for super speedsters like Sreesanth and Munaf :akhtar

Its Indian bowling.. What did you expect? None of them can bowl a yorker if things are not going well... No one can even bowl proper line and length either....

Munaf is a trundler... Zak is just fat now... He cannot even bowl 5 overs.. Sreesanth is plain useless :facepalm:

If this was a 5 day Test, India would lose this one too....

Nothing to sugar coat here... I don't think Northants will lose more than 2 wickets today...

India thought that they would get nice batting practice in this 2 day game. Instead, they are forced to toil out in the field.

Bowling is beyond pathetic... How can you not get 3 county wickets after bowling almost 50overs? :facepalm:

Indians should stick to T20 and ODI's. Test matches don't seem to be their forte these days :sachin

Yeah, Saj posted though that Northants have won. India is really having a horrid time this tour :facepalm:
 
No worries, it's just a tour game. India is a slow starter.




Northants 2nd string, Dave Burton trialling for the 2nd XI not the 1st! No Vaas, etc. And to top it off, they're a second division team, its not like Somerset which was a mid tier 1st Division team.
