THe thing I dislike most about the IPL is that edges carry for 6.
 
Sehwag coming into match with two ducks. avoided the 3rd straight one as the edge to thirdman missed the player by few feet.

bad fielding going on. one player didn't attempt to catch the ball and instead missed the ball too and it went for four. now another misfield

It's pelting down. Spectators in the unprotected stands are scurrying for cover. It looks like a full house. The ground really was buzzing a while back. Too bad about the current situation.

presumbaly nes wadia, but right now the whole poonjab team must be consoling her and telling it's fine, sehwag wont beat them up anymore because the rain looks too bad.. :D

May be some cricket left in this match yet!

10.25: We have an update. Umpire Jayaprakash says both teams have lost at least two overs each. He reckons this could be a 16 overs-a-side game. The rain has stopped and the covers are off, the groundstaff are busy getting the outfield ready. Play could start in the next 15 minutes, after the umpires inspect the field. The cut-off time is 11.40 PM (after which the match will be called off) but that's still a long way off.

what a joke and embarrassment ..

surely they could have extended play or just resumed tomorrow morning to complete the massive 40 overs in this match.
 
We've been informed that Punjab will chase a revised target of 123 in 11 overs...Apparently there's a mild drizzle.

One bowler can bowl a maximum of three overs while four can bowl a maximum of two each.
 
This drizzle has suddenly picked up, the game will go on for the moment though. The wind has thrown the bails off and Dinesh Karthik's cap

Players will probably go off (knwoing the umpires) only for the wind to blow the clouds away and for it to stop raining 2 minutes later!
 
Punjab needs 55-0 or 56-1 or 56-2 at 5 over mark in case game gets called off after 5 overs

great job there by Malik. It looked like his catch but Dhawan wanted it. So he supported Dhawan while he grabbed the catch
