The lying gamifying administration, making a jack … of the people and MAGA is still lapping it all up.

Insane doubling down on stupidity.

There is a famous Iranianbanti regime comedian in the UK his name is Omid Djalili.

He claimed that this was done by Iranians and the bodies on display were bodies that the Iranian regime had kept frozen on ice since the January uprising against them. I found it astonishing that a seemingly sensible man could put forward such an opinion.

Iranian diaspora is honestly the weirdest and warped community.

Most of them believe they are ‘white’, they refer to themselves as Persian not Muslims as if ‘Muslim’ is ethnicity.

It's a ludicrous statement from Djalili if true but there's some background to this. Apparently his parents are Bahai.

While Bahais were persecuted in Iran in the 19th and early 20th Century, it accelerated under the Shah who had not only the British and Americans to thank for his reinstatement in 1953, but also the mullahs, many of whom hated the secular Mossadegh. Cracking down on Bahais was him fulfilling his IOU and the state allowed a major campaign of suppression, including pogroms in 1955 (two years after our own anti-Ahmedi riots). Djalili's parents emigrated to the UK in 1958.

That accelerated post 1979. The UN and HRW have documented the denial of education, demolition of property and arbitrary arrests (let's avoid the tendency of some right-wing Indians who happily quote UN and HRW when it pertains to minority rights violations in Pakistan but ignore the same institutions when they report on outrages closer to home).

It's an interesting parallel with Ahmedis in Pakistan where another ostensibly liberal govt, led by ZAB, began the hardwiring of anti-Ahmedi discrimination into Pakistan's political system (in another misguided effort to appease the religious right) that became turbocharged later under the hardline Zia.

Of course all of this could've been avoided had Mossadegh been allowed to complete his term but the tag team of the West and the mullahs (who rekindled their deadly romance in Pakistan in the 80s) wouldn't have it.

Iran on Monday named Mojtaba Khamenei to succeed his father Ali Khamenei as Supreme Leader, signaling that hardliners remain firmly in charge in Tehran a week into its conflict ‌with the United States and Israel.

Mojtaba, a mid-ranking cleric with influence inside Iran's security forces and vast business networks under his father, had been seen as a frontrunner in the lead up to the vote by the assembly, a body of 88 clerics charged with choosing the new leader after Ali Khamenei.

For the first time in my life I'm genuinely petrified of where this ends. The comments coming from Netanyahu are terrifying. I only hope that someone somewhere can find an off ramp.

Yeh it's scary. Very scary. Hard to see any military off ramps.

Only hope is the price of oil makes everyone come to the table and find a solution.

Irans selection of Khameini son is also interesting. Shias are usually very much against dynastic politics and it's possible he may have earned it on merit but it does look like a nepo selection.

Difficult to see if it's a declaration of more of the same, or they feel that Khameini son will be best placed to negotiate a deal in a way that pleases the Iranian masses ( I.e if the son of the slain Ayatollah can deal with his killers then who are we to ask for more revenge)

It's a tactical decision. They want a message to sent out to their people that there is still a solid connection to their passed away Imam and to their enemies that the King might be dead but long live the King aka the 'regime', which their enemies so want to topple.

dont mean to be the one stating the obvious, but shias do like dynasties, lol, i do see your point though, if anything these kind of selections make it even more obvious that politically the regime is not doing well. healthy political machines have enough checks and balances to avoid the need to resort to dynastic selections to appease power blocks.

the only sensible solutions is for both sides to declare some form of hollow victory and go back to political posturing. israel has failed to instigate a regime change, and iran has further alienated every arab entity in the gulf.

Saudi Arabia intercepts drone heading towards Shaybah oil field

The Saudi Ministry of Defense says its air forces have intercepted and destroyed a drone over the country’s Rub al-Khali desert that was heading towards the Shaybah oil field.

The oil filed has the capacity to produce one million barrels of crude a day, according to Saudi Aramco.

The announcement came hours after the ministry said it has foiled ballistic missile attacks on the Prince Sulan Air Base as well as drone attacks on Riyadh. At least two people have been killed in Saudi Arabia amid the Iranian counterattacks.

And sad to see how few indians (Who have no relation to this war) were trying to prove that Iran bombed the school (twice) + some Sherlock was saying which school runs on Saturday. And now after all the evidences, their lips are sealed..

Looks like some people have forgot the basic teachings of humanity just to feel pleasure of their hatred towards Muslims..

Just goes on to show how vile and pathetic these Sanghis are with their lies and propaganda. They kept insisting it was Iranian army that killed the little girls, turn out it was an American tomahawk missile

More missile and drone attacks reported in the region

Continued missile and drone strikes were reported across the Middle East in the early hours of Monday morning.

The Qatari Ministry of Defense said that armed forces intercepted a missile attack.

Emergency management in the UAE released a statement saying air defenses were dealing with a missile threat.

The Ministry of Defense in Saudi Arabia said it intercepted and destroyed two drones heading toward the Shaybah field.

The Bahrain Interior Ministry said in a statement that warning sirens were sounding, writing, "citizens and residents are urged to remain calm and head to the nearest safe place."

The Kuwait Army said air defenses were confronting hostile missile and drone attacks.

Hegseth talks ongoing war with Iran in '60 Minutes' interview: 'They will surrender'

In a wide-ranging interview with "60 Minutes," Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said the U.S. mission in Iran was “on track” and that surrender would be achieved by degrading Iran’s military power.

He said the U.S. was not fighting a regime-change war, and that the military mission did not involve ushering a new government into power.

Hegseth said t the U.S. would extinguish the nuclear threat posed by Iran, and that the Pentagon has options "to get after" highly enriched uranium that remains in the country.

Speaking of the campaign, Hegseth said, "This is only just the beginning

The sad thing is they get triggered and emotional over the dumbest most minute details when it comes to cricket, but when it comes to war then suddenly things are a joke.

Not all of em, but quite a few.

You all Indians were weeping when we just sent some drones but here you are celebrating death of 175+ school kids by the Zionists. Shame on you all. You do know China will make a doomba of you whenever they want and then the rest of us might not have any sympathy for you.

Trump says oil prices are a 'very small price to pay' for safety and peace
President Donald Trump took to social media on Sunday, posting about the war in Iran's impact on oil prices.

Trump said that "short term oil prices" are a "very small price to pay" for safety and peace across the world.

"Short term oil prices, which will drop rapidly when the destruction of the Iran nuclear threat is over, is a very small price to pay for U.S.A., and World, Safety and Peace. ONLY FOOLS WOULD THINK DIFFERENTLY!" he wrote.

Oil prices have risen above $100 a barrel as the war continues. This means even higher gas prices are coming to the pump. Oil is trading at about $101 a barrel, up 11%

I am living in Fujairah UAE which is an oil hub of UAE and everyday some missiles and drones are hitting on oil storage areas signalling castartrophic consequences for longer terms.
The damage has been done, even if the war finishes now it will take years for oil trade companies to overcome losses and bring back to normality.

This war is absolutely not necessary ...however Iran should also not used its proxies to hit Israel...Iran started it ...and Israel didn't stop. Both wrongs don't make it right...it makes it worse...innocents suffer

I'm sure. I just read Al Jazeera and CNN articles on Israeli censorship to understand how bad it is.

Al Jazeera on Israeli Censorship
CNN on Israeli Censorship

It seems like while it's true that while Israeli military does try to block broadcasting of live coverage of impacts, there is no mention of long prison sentences and outlets are able to show images and videos unless they show military facilities being hit.

I think given the amount of fake news, we should rely on outlets like Al Jazeera and CNN for actual reporting of damage.
Cnn is fake news too as is nyt bbc etc but since they are anti Trump..maybe there might be some balanced coverage this time

We did it for Palestine and for the muslim world.

Events like these makes lose hope on humanity. The mighty US with all their shiny toys and technological advancements couldn't distinguish between a military infrastructure and a school, incredibly painful. I am lost for words.
