Ireland vs Pakistan | 1st ODI | Dublin | May 23, 2013 | Ireland Innings

Was studying for exams came back and saw that Pakistan have amassed 266/5 whereas they were struggling in the start. Well done Hafeez and Shafiq( Had faith in him all along but should have gotten a hundred).

Dissapointed in Nasir Jamshed...COME ON MAN PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER !!!!!!!!!!!
 
Pakistan should have played Umar Amin , he has been selected and needs to be given a fair go.
 
Nice batting.. bowling doesn't seem very threatening! Expected more from Irfan and Junaid

It was strange Misbah sending in Jamshed back, then himself and Kamran before Malik. Malik as a specialist bat and given Misbah's in good form, should have been given a bit of a chance to practice (especially because he didn't do it in Scotland). Malik should have been sent in as soon as Asad fell.

After Asad fell, Kami should've been in, and then Malik, IMO.

Kamran will bat at seven I think anyway.

Malik is a specialist bat, Kamran isn't. Malik is expected to take more responsibility and bat to a higher standard than Kamran. If Malik doesn't perform with the bat, no point having him in the team.
 
it was a disastrous decision by Misbah to bat first in these conditions... should have exploited the overcast conditions with the green pitch for bowling!

was an excellent decision. Batsmen got to bat 50 overs (or as much as they could).

Other way round, we'd be chasing a low total and wouldn't last the distance for 50 overs.

Plus much better for our bowlers to bowl when conditions are harder, good practice.
 
Ehsan looking horrible , no swing , no pace , the batsmen are milking him at will around the ground.
 
Not impressed by Ehsan much looking at him.

But Kamran is attacking, and there was the need of hitting when Asad fell.

shouldn't Irfan be bowling instead of Adil? Mark my words, Adil will never be a good ODI bowler, Asif-esque bowlers never succeed in ODIs.

If target was 20 runs less then I could see Ireland winning this match, mediocre bowling so far.

Theres 1. And this was the same minus Gul bowling attack that destroyed India in 3 consecutive matches.
 
Mohammad Hafeez to Porterfield, OUT, not a great delivery but the batsman simply chips it to the man at midwicket who takes an easy catch
