NO - Poms winning all 3, NZ beat AUS, AUS beats BD, BD beats NZ. It comes to NRR - after 3 match, Kiwis are already behind us, so they are out; it's between AUS & BD - if Poms beat AUS by a bigger margin, they can go down on NRR, regardless of what's the margin of the NZ-AUS & BD-AUS match.
Aussies would have definitely crossed, because they would have known exactly what is their "safe" defeat margin that keeps their nose above BD; but we won't have been eliminated today.
It's confusing people because AUS-ENG match is later, so it's like rain has saved BD - Imagine a situation where AUS-Pom match is today & Aussies have lost it - BD-NZ becomes a QF tomorrow with all 3 teams still alive till result.
Only thing you can argue that Aussies could have made a comeback & beat Kiwis in that match - but same argument can be made for the other match as well - Aussies losing 9/99 & giving us a 1 run win.
