I've read this multiple times on PP by different posters and am excited to see him bat today. Has had a few misses and edges against Boult and Wagner but still looks solid at the crease. His real test would be in SA against the likes of Steyn and Philander.

Don't think today's the right day to praise his ability to play pace. He's looked extremely shaky, played across the line and struggled against the short ball.

Azhar, who is out of form, has looked twice the batsman.

He's playing the Azhar Ali role today making 20 off 100 balls to stifle the innings.

Pakistan has been able to produce one gutless after another. Maybe this is standard of proper test cricketer in our camp

So good that if Bradman was of this era, he would want to be coached by Haris.

Harris is awesome but this thread is

I’m sure he will come good but let’s atleast wait until he performs outside UAE where it actually doesn’t swing or seam much..

He is not even close. There is only one king of swing and seam in Asia and his name is virat kohli.

You've done yourself, again.

100 from 300 balls in the UAE is hardly anything to harp on about and shows that he's limited/lacks of confidence than anything.

Yes, let's try and act like he didn't answer your question by scoring a ton on you lot.

Let's start going into the nitty gritty, now that Amandeep has been proven wrong.

Over rated batsmen. We are playing the first innings of a test match and batting first. I don’t understand what the mindset is here? Are we trying to set a record of most overs faced in the first innings? His batting has been very slow, missed so many balls and lucky to still be there. Strike rate of 30 is really sending shivers down New Zealand’s team

You can pull some random off the street and they would get a 100 if they bstted 300+ balls here, really poor go slow inns.

30 overs between boundaries for a batsmen sitting on 100. Incredible.

Atrocious batting. Very embarassing to watch.

Shhh don’t question he’s ability bro..he plays with a beautiful straight bat you see..doesn’t matter if he does not score a boundary in 30 over.

Definitely not & if he continues to score at s/r of 33 like he is doing in Dubai , he needs to be dropped . Scoring at such pathetic s/r on such dull pitches will mostly never win you matches .

Don't know what was he doing, no intent. How can we produce so many selfish and did batsman one by one.

Even if accept that he was more cautious after the debacle in the last test- his inability to rotate the strike really worries. Hopefully its a one off.

You lot do realize Kohli top scored in the test series in both SA and England. First Asian ever to do so iirc.
