if thr s a certain height and the ball is 1cm under it - your eyes wont always pick this up,

hence we use proper data shown by crediable data analysts, from a camera which has been checked

It is very hard to put a number in India given the number of grounds they have. And each ground have different soil pitches.. Wankhede, Dharamsala, Punjab pitch , Chennai are bouncier. Depending on red soil or black soil or mixed soil bounce varies.

yeah but they do use red soil pitches I've heard so they do generate more bounce, I've heard that Wankhade , Ahmedabad have bounce because of red soil, it actually helps pacers like Jasprit Bumrah, actually I've done some research and here how it helps him:

1. The Geometry (New Ball): His hyper-extension and wide release create a sharp inward angle. By targeting the stumps, he makes the batter play. If it swings or angles in, he gets the Bowled or LBW. If the batter tries to play straight, the angle takes the outside edge to the slips or the inside edge to short-leg.
2. The Physics (The "Steep" Factor): On that firm Red Soil (Wankhede/Ahmedabad), his backspin makes the ball "bite" and rise at a steeper angle. The batter expects the ball at their waist, but it hits the shoulder of the bat or the gloves. This "extra bounce" is what makes a "flat" pitch dangerous.
3. The Geology (Day 3–5): Once the sun opens the cracks, he becomes a lottery. A ball from the same spot can either "shoot" (stay low) or "explode" (rear up). Since the batter is already worried about his 145km/h pace and inward angle, they have zero time to adjust to a change in height.

so this concludes that some like Punjab, Wankhade, Ahmedabad because of red soil geerate true bounce, on black soil, ball at where the pitch where is too full to pull, but still short enough to drive, this is why someone like mcgrath was successful, bowled at a fifth stump line, and the ball nipped back into the off stump
