Buttler is just one innings away from getting back into formlol have you seen Buttler bat in this tournament? He can't buy a run. And he certainly won't on this pitch against this Kiwi attack. England need to be pragmatic and replace him with Duckett so he can get some game time before the semi-final. It's too risky to carry a passenger like Buttler into the semi-final.
Not sure if he is. It's the way he is batting that doesn't inspire alot of hope for me. He's completely shot on confidence, the feet are not moving... he is not getting into good positions to score runs, and the pitches are not making it any easier for him. He had a good opportunity to strike form in Pallekelle... it was a reasonably good wicket. Not sure if it will be as easy to do that in Colombo against this NZ attack.Buttler is just one innings away from getting back into form
Might be the day today
Let's see hopefully some runs from himNot sure if he is. It's the way he is batting that doesn't inspire alot of hope for me. absolutely, both nass and ravi grew up in and around ilford, as local lads we fully support them. It's a fair system and not based on Parchi culture of Pakistan where the same tried and tested failures turn up in every ICC tournament...
Also want to point out, I feel the same sense of pride when a British Indian makes his way into the English set-up aka Ravi Bopara who is a local lad as is Nas Hussain...
Or as a Scottish Pakistani now it's back to anyone but England! No confusion now...England all the way!
Support our very own bacha Rehan and Uncle Rashid...they make you proud as British Pakistanis unlike the the actual Pakistanis...Or as a Scottish Pakistani now it's back to anyone but England!
No thanks I'll never support England. Don't care who represents them. It goes against every Scottish fibre in my body. I just wish Scottish cricket would give a chance to more local Desi players so I could feel more of a connection to the Scottish national team.Support our very own bacha Rehan and Uncle Rashid...they make you proud as British Pakistanis unlike the the actual Pakistanis...
It seems very odd to define your nationality by hatred of another one.No thanks I'll never support England. Don't care who represents them. It goes against every Scottish fibre in my body. When Scotland had the chance of independence they voted to remain with England. No thanks I'll never support England. Don't care who represents them. It goes against every Scottish fibre in my body. Maybe you just need to be Scottish to understand our complex relationship with England. It seems very odd to define your nationality by hatred of another one.
I don't mind it in woman cricket or even u19 but can't do it in men's cricket unless there is 3 or more bhais in the team..if no bhais then 6+ Punjabis. Why don't Pakistanis for a change support India the only asian country to qualify the semis..It will be a proud moment for Asia if India wins the world cup
There's a whole lot of scandals, lies and promises made that were never adhered to which I don't think is appropriate for this forum. I voted for independence but I can understand why there was a lot of fear around it at the time. When Scotland had the chance of independence they voted to remain with England.
I'm sure we have many Bhais in our team..even yesterday I heard Surya saying "Bhais played well"..and w.r.t punjabi, Arshdeep is definitely 6+ years old..I don't mind it in woman cricket or even u19 but can't do it in men's cricket unless there is 3 or more bhais in the team..if no bhais then 6+ Punjabis.
