Is Pakistan's handling of their pace trio acceptable?

Injuries are in nobody's hands and that is something we have to accept. However the workload management is something which can be done in better way in my opinion.

Shaheen, Naseem and Haris are the biggest asset Pakistan have. They need to be cotton wooled so that for important matches against good batting line ups, all of 3 of them are available.
Frequent travelling along with too much game time is bound to take toll on bodies.
There was no need to put all 3 of them in front of Nepal and even against Afghans they could have rotated them.
Pakistan could have left Shaheen or Haris in SL itself when they went to Pakistan to play Bangladesh. Naseem and one of the other pacers should have restricted BD to 240 which could have been easily chased.
Also it will give the 4th and 5th pacer much needed game time and confidence. Imagine what Md. Wasim may be thinking when they don't even select him against minnow teams. He will start doubting his own abilities.
Invariably someone from trio will be missing, so role of 4th and 5th pacer is very important to keep them match ready and confident.

Agree somewhat but the trio need game time to gel together as well. Fitness can only be improved if you play more.

It's unfair. We have a world class trio, but their playing every game and excepted to carry the burden of everything on their shoulder.

What sense does it make for them to play Nepal? Or for them to play every single game in the Afghanistan series or MZ series?

Match practise is one thing, overdoing it is another. A few games here and their to avoid injuries.

They called back a semi fit Shaheen for the 2022 World Cup

Pakistan are desperate when it comes to its pacers

No doubt it was a desperate move. But we could have easily rested shaheen or Rauf or Naseem against Nepal in that heat of Multan.

We could not have because Pakistan can lose with a full strength side to anyone on its day, let alone a semi strength side.

we are dependant on our trio.. in last match we have already seen that where we are standing as a bowling unit if we dont go with our premium fast bowlers.

No, they are not. They have played so much cricket that could be avoided in the last few months when Asia Cup and World Cup coming.

There needs to be a clause in the central contract that players will not play any T20 leagues for 2-3 months before major tournaments.

League cricket is causing the most problems for young cricketers, as they are burdening themselves resulting in a high number of our fast bowlers getting unfit.

Totally unacceptable. Look at big teams that do it right. Can't remember the last time Starc/Cummins/Hazelwood played together in a random bilateral. They rotate them; play one or two mixed with some younguns, and bring out the big guns when it's time for the world cup.

The reality is that there is no correct way to handle fast bowlers. They are professional cricketers and need to make a living and at any one point they are only an injury away from retirement. If the PCB wraps them in cotton wool, it still won't prevent injuries. There is a balance that is needed and no one really knows where that balance is, and it will be different for each bowler

It's PCB's fault not as much for the pacers or captain or the coaches.
Pakistani players might be the only ones alongside WI players who feature in so many leagues. And WIndies players are usually not even centrally contracted.

Don't think these league's have really improved the players from a cricketing point of view apart from the players bank accounts.

1. Biggest issue I feel still is some lack of maturity in players and professionalism in team staff that allow players to continue or resume playing or play next game while carrying a niggles. I think Naseem had brought shoulder injury to his last game. Similar stuff has happened in the past with Shaheen etc.
This must stop.

2. Another unlucky factor this time could have been the crazy Asia cup hosting and schedule. All the travel followed by playing in and after rain on suggy grounds, 2 day game, etc makes for injury prone condition

3. International games aside, given proximity to world cup PCB should not have given NOC to the top 3 fast bowlers for the hundred and LPL. In future they should allow players maybe 1 other league beside psl. And especially watch before major tournament time and for first choice top 3 pacers in particular.

4. Lastly a bit more rotation and rest against weak sides.
