When England raced to a lightning fast start, Babar & the bowlers should have regrouped & devised a plan to stem the run flow.

Bazball or not, there are many ways to contain the batsmen & no one can score so quickly so consistently unless you are bowling 2-3 boundary balls every over.

Pakistan were utterly clueless today. They should have been able to normalize the scoring rate after the first 15-20 overs but they were completely helpless & at England’s mercy.

Pakistan were letdown by Babar & the bowlers, not by the pitch or the chairman. Deluded fans can keep looking for excuses & scapegoats because they cannot accept the truth. Pakistan is a nothing team & there is no talent at disposal.

Ramiz deserves to be criticized for the pitch that was prepared.

However totally agree on your criticism of Babar and the bowlers. I have been screaming for a while now that Babar is not fit enough to lead this team.

The bowling is horrific, hence why you shouldn't make flat wickets to expose them even more against a rampaging English lineup.

Ramiz deserves the criticism, he's a known micromanager who openly admitted to preparing dull pitches vs AUS to nullify their quicks.

He's made a big drama about improving the pitches, hiring Aussie curators, introducing drop-ins, and even claiming he carries a pitchmaking guide that he reads every day so much so he considers himself a curator too.

Perhaps he got confused and bought a road preparation manual instead.

Why are we comfortable assuming that the nature of the pitch is Ramiz’s call? He has given Babar a freehand as captain.

What if Babar doesn’t want a spin-friendly pitch considering the fact that he is a poor player of spin himself?

Babar is obsessed with individual milestones. He is a selfish player & it is reasonable to assume that these flat pitches over the last couple of series have a lot to do with him.

This is why Kohli was phenomenal. India kept playing on rank-turners during his captaincy & he scored thousands of runs. He would be averaging 70+ if Indian curators would have produced such pitches under his captaincy.

Babar is a coward and a disgrace as captain no doubt.

Why is rameez putting up with this? This is a repeat of australia test series, not changing things is on Rameez.

Could’ve not said it any better.
Sums up his entire worth in his current role for a top level chief.

Outside of playing cricket, he is nothing more than a third class YouTuber.

Was he even a good cricketer (at the international stage)? Has just 2 100s in 57 tests!

How did this guy get a chance to captain a strong side like Pakistan?

Needs to resign after this terrible wicket. Our strength is our fast bowlers and we make them look like total numpties. Rambo needs to go

Babar was the captain against South Africa in pindi test, the pitch was situatable for fast bowlers . South African had a better fast bowling attack than England. This is all on Ramiz Raja

And Babar flopped badly in that series, averaging 30.50, so it is not surprising that he started pushing for dead wickets afterwards.

According to a few sports reporters on Twitter, it was Babar who requested Ramiz to ensure that the curator prepared a flat pitch. All 3 individuals i.e. Ramiz, Babar and Saqlain are responsible.

I agree

He is a selfish player, who only cares about his own ranking and statpadding

This is all babar is about - I will be consistent. I criticised Tendulkar for stats padding. I will say the same for Babar. At least the Indian board saw through him and fired him from captaincy. Surely the PCB need to do the same

I don't see anything wrong how Ramiz is managing PCB. He is doing an OK, if not great job. We cannot blame him for team selection and the pitch .

I agree although I do feel he should be blamed for the pitch, it is his suggestions that have lead to this farcical situation in the previous 2 series.

I think Rameez' role is too broad and he should relinquish the cricket operational side of his role and should focus on strategic and commercial issues.

We should take the leaf out of football and have director of cricket positions for FC and LOIs who are respinsible for playing philosophy, the NCA, player contracts and are in charge of the selectors and coaches for the respective formats.

For FC this may be unpopular but I think we should take someone like Misbah and for ODI we should appoint a former official from the ECB.

This would free up Rameez to focus on bigger picture issues.

At the moment he seems to be involved in everything.

They guy is on the record stating that he ordered slow n dead home pitches because he is scared of Aussies.

This guy is all talk but does nothing. He talked about foreign coach, aggressive captain but still kept Saqlain and Babar. He will not do anything in future. Both will continue for another 3-4 years.

If Ramiz is involved in everything then what is Faisal Hasnain the CEO doing in the PCB?

Overall , Ramiz is not doing a bad job, better than all of his predecessors in recent times.

I have lost even more respect for Ramiz in light of his recent comments. If as the charmain of the PCB you can't sort out the pitches after this amount of time. There many skilled groundsmen all around the world and results are obtained all over the world. Get the right guys in.

Rambo Raja must be in a bakery, cake cutting ceremony for nepotism -ul-haqs half century

If the 99 team can get egged/tomatoed for losing a final what does this spineless team deserve

The loud mouth shameless fraud should get the sack, his one of reasons current team is going backwards and fast.

Domestic cricketers have still not been paid their salaries for QEA Trophy and National T20 Cup. Sindh haven't even gotten their prize money for winning National T20 Cup.

This is another disgrace on Ramiz's watch.

Where are the Shaheens tours?

Seem to be a thing of the past and ignored of late.

They have to be a priority.
