That's not what happened in any of the 3 Group A matches in Dubai.

Maybe it's the case in Abu Dhabi though. Apparently, in the last 20 ODIs there, 17 have been won by the team batting first.

That's a shocking stat honestly. Winning the toss was a huge advantage for PAK. Unfortunately they could not capitalise. I agree that the toss is less of an advantage in Dubai compared to Dhabi though.

Dubai seems to be a better venue to chase. Probably why India chose to bowl first on winning the toss.
