Is this the end of Mohammad Hafeez?

Advice coming thick and fast for Hafeez

This from a Shoaib Akhtar tweet

Dont let the Set backs divert your moral in life you should be brave enough to face the consequences or the failures.#MohammadHafeez should not go againt the PCB's decision.Fight it back come back strong and think about the larger picture in life and serve ur country!

The bottom line is if you genuinely believe you are good enough to be playing at international level, then surely getting a stack of runs in domestic cricket with a couple of double centuries should not be a big ask for a player of Hafeez's calibre, go there and do it and then talk..that is the way to silence critics.

Look at what Shan Masood has gone and done in domestic cricket since he was last dropped..that's the way to earn your place back, just don't expect it to be given to you for free because in your mind you are a living legend.

He fights on. He's ready to fight he said.

Don't write-off Professor just yet.

You need a constitutional amendment to drop Hafeez. :dw
Not just a constitutional amendment, I think you might also need the UN security council to pass a resolution to get Hafeez dropped.

We been through this situation before, as long as Inzi is the selector , Hafeez doesn't need to score runs to stay in the team. Inzi hates merit.

If Hafeez is a man with any dignity left in him whatsoever, he would announce his retirement prior to the 4th innings.

We are seeing this things over the decade. But now its even worse. Don't expect anything better under Inzi. He keeps select 3-5 useless players in any squad to make big boss happy. A big hypocrite with no moral.

Don't blame Hafeez, he is what he has always been

This is really Inzamam's incompetence. It's just shameful at this time

When was the last time a 38 year old guy opened in test? The oldest one in recent time was maybe Chris Rogers and he also retired.

Opening the batting needs good reflexes, at 38 as an opener is just as difficult as it can get.

Chris Rogers ended on a high as well. He could have played on but put the team first.

Mohammad Hafeez in his last 7 Test innings:

17, 4, 6, 20, 10, 9, 0

Total of 66 runs

Average of 9.40
