Seems like a big mismatch. One side struggling to stay in the competition and seems mentally incapable of competing whilst another which is pushing for a top 2 spot.

But surely last chance for Karachi or is it too late?

I don’t see Karachi winning this one too. Unless Sharjil gets going, their batting is just too weak and bowling all over the place.

KK should look to bat first and aim for 200

A lot depends on Sharjeel

Karachi bowling isn’t the worst as long as they get a score on the board. Batting first seems to be the way to go now.

Prediction on TV is that the pitch is slow, last time match played on this pitch scores were in 120s, which is a shame as I wanted to see Babar continue the free flowing cricket he tried to play last match.

Yamin probably could have played instead of Umaid as he is better batsman and probably similar quality bowler.

Must win match for KK.

If they don't win, may as well start planning for PSL8.

Maybe Usman Khan Shinwarin can have one of his good days and take some wickets.
Otherwise Islamabad's powerful batting line up is going to hit them hard.

KK bowling all over the place once again.

Skipper sets the field, bowlers bowl something totally different.

Garbage bowling from Gregory so far.

So poor for an experienced cricketer.

Babar Brilliant

This is being set up for an ideal chase for babar. Its his type of pitch and his type of score, unless IU go big.

Most of the time I see Jordan getting tonked in death overs and here commies says Jordan finishes it well most of the time..

177 6

That will be tough to chase.

Sluggish track.

Sharjeel and Babar once again the key.

Big man Azam scored some VITAL runs at the end.

Babar needs to come out swinging too. Not cashing in on the power play could result in the RRR increasing rapidly on a sluggish surface and Karachi Kings could fall short again.

A dive might have saved Sharjeel but he didn't bother.

Skipper sold him down the river.

Sharjeel gave up half way through. Could have made it if he showed some spirit.

He is too dumb and lazy for international cricket, not sure why he has so many supporters.

The supposed match-winner according to whom "fitness is not important" took 2 hours to turn around and run back to his crease.

He gave up even before the fielder threw the ball. Match winner.

His supporters are mainly people who have no clue about cricket.

His supporters are mainly people who have no clue about cricket.

Basically some T10 fans who would make a team 11 Sharjeels, because he can hit a six and then get out the very next ball.

Add that to his non-existent contribution with the ball and in the field.

Nicely put away from Babar.

Need more of this. He needs to grab the game by the scruff of the neck like Tier 1 cricketers like Kohli, ABDV can do.

Waqar showing his 80's mentality here. Recommending scoring boundary and getting off strike.

Brendan Mccullum in contrast advocated that when you score a boundary you go for the jugular and put extreme pressure on the bowler.
