Islamabad United (178/6) beat Karachi Kings (173/7) by 4 wickets in Match 4 of PSL8

KK's problem is that their all too selfish and agenda based. All think they have points to prove when the only one they're proving is how bad they are
 
They really need Amir and Imad to bring all of their T20 bowling experience here

I disagree. You don't average 40+ in ODIs with a 110 SR if you're not capable white ball batsman who relies on flukes.

The fact that literally not even KK fans cheer for some KK players (apart from a few kal ke fans) tells you a lot.

they came out in numbers to see their team play but realized they are the same %£ team so didnt bother tonight

To be frank, it's not just about the SA's choke against the Netherlands.

Pakistan had an easy group. The only tough team in it was India.

In T20Is, we're not better than England, India, Australia, Sri Lanka and New Zealand. The latter didn't turn up against Pakistan on a slow wicket.
 
If you're gonna moan about fixers you shouldn't be watching the PSL on your TV.

The revenue that comes from TV rights goes into the pocket of these PSL sides who in turn use this to fund the salaries of these fixers.

Just goes to show it's easy to act moral on the internet.
 
A couple of students met Sethi appealing to him to reduce the prices or to make entry free for the PSL. He explained that the gate money goes to the Franchises therefore he can't make entry free for the PSL but he is going to give a 50% discount on PSL tickets in Karachi to students who are under 18. Let's see if that boosts ticket sales in Karachi

Want him to do well and you can still see his bowling intelligence and accuracy but it's sad to see this lack of penetration.
Maybe he can pair well with a super attacking bowler like Shaheen but as an attacking ace he is done even at franchise level.
 
Sharjeel should have scored a 70 like Rizwan or Babar and put his team in domination.

I agree Amir hasn't got the penetration to tack wickets like he did at his peak but we need his bowling IQ at the death during the 2023 WC. Shaheen is our best bowler but he still hasn't mastered bowling at the back end of an innings.

Karachi should be banned as a home ground until the management at Karachi Kings can muster up a decent squad.

Can’t believe there’s a worse team in PSL than the LQ side of 2016-2020.
 
No point holding Amir back when the game will be done and dusted by the 16th/17th over
 
What poor bowling by this Musa. Just running in bowling full and getting smashed. A ball or two he bowled on a length Azam has struggled. No brain by him. Will get destroyed with such bowing in all games

I have no idea how he keeps getting selected. Doesn't really have any bowling skills besides decent pace which is useless when you're just spraying it around like that

They picked haider and tahir in platinum when they had so many better options available.Tahir clearly is past it and haider is decent but he is nowhere near platinum.
 
Strategy against Amir is clear.

Smash him into dust or just play him out.

His bowling is innocuous and wont get premier batsmen out.

He is a specialist emerging player wicket taker.
 
I don’t know who was Amir asking to shut up. Was behaving as if he had picked up World Cup final hattrick
