Israeli attacks target Hamas leadership in Qatar

Indeed.

Sanghis have no business in this thread. Middle East conflicts shouldn't concern them. They still butt in due to their Islamophobia.

They don't just butt in but celebrate when Muslims die.

They are some of the biggest scumbags on planet Earth right now.
And Pakistanis have all their business in threads about India, right?

I can bet you all the money in my pocket that Isrealis warned Qataris of the strike.

As for the cult, look up your favourite metric - GDP per Captia - Qatar wipes every cult Indian 100000 times over.

So why don't you go there instead of staying in the evil UK while chanting "God Save the King!" against your will?

Not surprising to see many Qatar fans on here.

Qatar and Pakistan have some similaries; both states have a history of harbouring terror groups which are conveniently cloaked as 'freedom fighters'. What a shame.

Round of applause for you! Well done.

What is the orange dress wearing Modi's response to this attack?

Not surprising to see so many israel fans on here either to be fair.

India and israel have some similarities. Both hate their Muslim population, although zionists don't seem to admire Indians as much as the Indians admire israel.

When have Muslims ever mentioned it's about Jews? How completely ignorant are you with the facts and ground realities? There are many Jews who march along with Palestinains and others globally in many protests to call out Terrorist Nazi Israel and for Palestine to be a free state, it has nothing to do with religion.

Zionist Jews have hijacked their religion and use it to justify their barbaric atrocities and terrorism over helpless indigenous population, Zionists are hell bent over occupying the whole land, it's as simple as that. The same barbaric stoneaged logic that Sanghi Terorrists use about Akand Bharat, but atleast they have Pakistan to put them down and out, and bring them to their knees to beg for mercy hence Sanghis begged for foreign assistance for a cease fire
isnt islams hadiths says you have to kill all the jews till the last one hide behind stone ? well, whether zionist existed then ?

This is a prophecy for the end of times and not a prescription to kill Jews. The prophecy is about how Jews will fight against Muslims so if you don’t fight back, you die yourself.

It is against Islam to fight an offensive war. Jihad is defensive.

Congratulations to our Israeli brothers for neutralizing another group of Hamas terrorists who bring only destruction and shame upon humanity.

At the same time, I make a heartfelt plea, please extend compassion and restraint toward innocent Palestinian civilians, who should never bear the weight of crimes committed by terrorists. Reports of human rights violations are deeply troubling, and it is vital that in this just war against extremist Islamist brutality, humanity and justice remain the guiding lights.

As for Qatar, its influence comes not from military strength but from immense oil wealth that allows its ruling family to wield outsized political leverage. Militarily, however, Qatar remains a minor player, not much stronger than smaller regional states such as Pakistan, Azerbaijan or Maldives etc.

How about you demand Israel to de occupy west bank and take their illegal settlers back? original source of conflict

Israel the most evil country in the world after Nazi Germany in modern history.. Killing Innocent Palestinians and slaughtering Kids in thousands and have audacity to justify it.

no person humane enough can support this evil

Yet Qatar is West’s Darling in middle east

and no one believes what Indians say about Pakistan

Agree.

The fact these sanghis are supporting Israeli actions show they are equally evil (if not more).
They are Supporting Israel because they hate Muslims. They also Support Russia against Ukraine ( oppressed ) it Seems Sanghis have habbit of siding with evil

The West has many dictator bedfellows as long as it benefits them. They've been open about that .. atleast their political pundits and commentators are.

so what?

None of the countries in the world call Pak a terrorist state apart from India of course..

If 140 Crore Indians start shouting , Pak is terrorist state.. it does nt mean Pak is or world will gobble up that narrative

Indians give too much credence to what goes on in their heads and think world is listening just like Rabid Indian media which does nt care about credibility

India also has a history of harbouring terrorists - LTTE.

Yes, briefly in the 80s, and India paid the ultimate price .. PM Rajiv was assassinated. Lesson learnt.

Pakistani regime, on the other hand, keeps doing the same thing over and over again. Not a very intelligent bunch.

India still fund terrorists. BLA, for example. :inti

India also funded Shanti Bahini terrorists in Bangladesh but BD army neutralized that group.

Qatar have many economic investments in France and have close ties to French politicians.

This is money talking as opposed to genuine empathy but it's something I guess.
France has said more against Israel compared to 5 eyes.

India hasn't officially declared it either. There's no international mechanism to declare a country in such terms.
Neither any country Pak has Diplomatic relations with accuse Pak of State sponsored terrorism other than india at world forums.. only proof india had against Pak after Palgham attack was hostile speech of Munir.. So according to Indians , Munir made that speech so he followed through with Attack on Hindus.. Thats some real Sherlock level evidence to implicate a state and then attacking its sovereignty with military aggression.

Saudi Arabia rejects Israeli attacks in the region, crown prince tells Shoura Council

Saudi Arabia rejects and condemns Israeli attacks in the region, including “the brutal aggression against” Qatar, the Kingdom’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman said on Wednesday.

In an annual address to the Shoura Council that he delivered on behalf of King Salman, the crown prince said Tuesday’s attack that targeted Hamas leaders in Qatar’s capital Doha and killed six people, necessitates Arab, Islamic, and international action to confront such aggression.

International measures to deter the Israeli military from their criminal practices of destabilizing the region’s security and stability are also needed, the crown prince said.

Does Shin Bet know RexRex exists? It seems like he works for them for free (free propaganda delivery).

These sanghis love to work for free I guess. :inti

Absolutely embarrassing for them considering the clout they have in the world.
The entire Arab region has surrendered their influence by staying silent and relying on empty diplomacy in the face of genocide and ethnic cleansing.

Unfortunately true, but its worse for Qatar considering they have been attacked on their soil while hosting foreign leaders, no one will trust they can keep leaders/refugees secure in the future.
I'm no fan of dictators but lol Qaddafi had way more nationalistic than these Arabs and he was an Afro-Arab fgs

I doubt any Arab country can truly guarantee safety for leaders or refugees.

The dynamics of the game have shifted, today’s supremacists seek total control over the region, and they’ve shown they will assassinate anyone, anywhere, whenever it suits their agenda.

No one should be celebrating such assassination, not matter what difference they have with any group.

There is the option to go to the ICJ or even the ICC. How come India has not gone to the ICC over this. Surely it could try and get Asim Munir arrested?

Indian unintelligence agency's evidence is from their bollywood flicks, it's a laughing stock of an agency for a reason. I still can't get over the comics they provided as evidence of Mumbai attacker with thick UP accent lol.

Their silly laughable fabricated stories disguised as evidence only work on extremist jahil Sanghis. They brought epic humiliation on India and Indians, so it's all good. Pakistan taught them a lesson of a life time, bet they are still busy glueing back 6 of their destroyed jets

Modi has condemned it, read his Twitter. It seems he knows who butters India's breads. It's the GCC countries which host millions of Indians.

Qatar says search continues at site of Israeli strike targeting Hamas leaders

Qatari authorities say they are still searching for two missing people and identifying human remains after an Israeli strike targeted senior Hamas leaders in Doha on Tuesday.

Israeli media have reported that there is concern in Israeli military circles that the highly controversial attack was not successful.

The Qatari interior ministry has identified the bodies of three of the five lower-level Hamas members who the Palestinian armed group said were killed along with a Qatari security officer. Hamas has claimed the attempt to assassinate its negotiating team failed.

In an interview with CNN, Qatar's prime minister did not reveal the fate of Hamas's chief negotiator Khalil al-Hayya.

"Until now... there is no official declaration," Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani said on Wednesday evening.

He also said Israel's action amounted to "state terror" and that he hoped Qatar's regional partners would agree a "collective response".

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said its strike was justified because it targeted what he called the "terrorist masterminds" of the Hamas-led attack on Israel on 7 October 2023, when about 1,200 people were killed and 251 others were taken hostage.

At least 64,656 people have been killed in Israeli attacks in Gaza during the ensuing war, according to the territory's Hamas-run health ministry.

Tuesday afternoon's air strike in northern Doha targeted residential premises housing several members of the political bureau of Hamas as they discussed the latest US proposal for a ceasefire and hostage release deal, according to Qatari officials.

Israeli officials initially told Israeli media that they were optimistic about the results of what they dubbed "Operation Summit of Fire".

However, reports on Wednesday reflected their growing pessimism, with the suggestion that it might not have been as successful as they had thought. Some officials were quoted as saying the Hamas leaders may have been in a different part of the building.

Hamas said on Tuesday that the "heinous crime" had killed five of its members: Khalil al-Hayya's son, Humam, the director of Hayya's office, Jihad Labad, and bodyguards Moamen Hassouna, Abdullah Abdul Wahid and Ahmed al-Mamluk.

"We confirm the enemy's failure to assassinate our brothers in the negotiating delegation," it added, without providing any evidence.

By Wednesday evening, the Qatari interior ministry said authorities had identified the bodies of Humam al-Hayya, Labad, Hassouna, and Corporal Badr al-Humaidi, a member of Qatar's Internal Security Force.

The ministry said efforts were under way by specialised teams to "identify two individuals reported missing", adding that human remains had been discovered "in various locations".

There was no mention of the whereabouts of Khalil al-Hayya, who has yet to appear in public.

Netanyahu said Israeli forces had gone after Hamas's leaders in Qatar because it was giving them "safe haven".

"I say to Qatar and all nations who harbour terrorists: you either expel them or you bring them to justice. Because if you don't, we will," he warned.

In response, Sheikh Mohammed told CNN that it was Netanyahu who "needs to be brought to justice".

"He's the one who's wanted at the [International Criminal Court]."

Last year, ICC judges issued arrest warrants for Netanyahu and former Defence Minister Yoav Gallant, saying there were reasonable grounds to believe the men bore criminal responsibility for alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. The Israeli government and both men rejected the accusations.

Sheikh Mohammed also said he feared the Israeli strike had "just killed any hope" for the 48 remaining hostages in Gaza, 20 of whom are believed to be alive.

He said he had met one of the hostages' families only hours before the attack, and that they had been "counting on this [ceasefire] mediation and they have no other hope".

Netanyahu said on Tuesday that Israel's action could "open the door to an end of the war".

He confirmed that Israel had accepted the US ceasefire proposal and urged the people of Gaza to follow suit.

When asked if Qatar would now shut down Hamas's office, Sheikh Mohammed said his government was "reassessing everything" and having "a very detailed conversation" with the US about the way forward.

US President Donald Trump said he was "very unhappy about every aspect" of the strike.

"Unilaterally bombing inside Qatar, a sovereign nation and close ally of the United States, that is working very hard and bravely taking risks with us to broker peace, does not advance Israel or America's goals," he wrote on Truth Social on Tuesday. "However, eliminating Hamas, who have profited off the misery of those living in Gaza, is a worthy goal."

Trump said he had told special envoy Steve Witkoff to inform Qatar of the impending attack after being notified by the US military, but that it was "too late".

Sheikh Mohammed said the US had contacted Qatar "10 minutes after the attack".

Qatar's fellow Arab states have also expressed outrage at the Israeli strike.

On Wednesday, the president of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, flew to Doha to show its solidarity.

He told Qatar's Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, that Israel's "criminal attack" threatened the Middle East's "security, stability, and prospects for peace", according to the UAE's WAM news agency.

Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, who is expected to visit Doha on Thursday, said Israel's "brutal aggression" required action.

According to Sheikh Mohammed, there are plans for a summit to be held in Qatar in the near future to discuss a regional response.

Your comparison used the term terrorists which is just a term non-Muslim aggressors use to blame Muslims for violence when in fact it is usually retaliation on a much smaller scale. So no, it is not correct.

Qataris are just Houthis in Gucci.
They are not launching rockets into Israel nor are they attacking ships. They are Sunni compared with the Shia Houthi’s a proxy for Iran and they are an ally of the US. There is also a stable government in Qatar compared with a famine and civil war in Yemen between the Yemeni government and the Houthis. But yeah, apart from all that, they are the same just with money. 🙄

Your lack of balanced and nuanced posts are not helpful at all.

PM Shehbaz arrives in Qatar to express ‘solidarity’ following Israeli attack

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday arrived in Qatar for a one-day visit to express “solidarity and regional unity” after Israeli airstrikes targeted residential areas in Doha earlier this week.

On Tuesday, Israel launched an airstrike against Hamas leaders in Doha, expanding military actions that have ranged across the Middle East to include the Gulf Arab state where the Palestinian group has long had its political base.

According to Hamas sources, the group’s representatives were targeted while they were discussing United States President Donald Trump’s proposal for a ceasefire in Gaza.

Qatar condemned the attack as “cowardly” and called it a flagrant violation of international law.

Upon arrival, PM Shehbaz was received by Qatar’s Deputy PM and Minister of State for Defence Affairs Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al Thani, state-run Radio Pakistan reported.

“PM Shehbaz, accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and a high-level delegation, will meet Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to convey Islamabad’s sympathies and support for the Gulf state today,” a statement by the Foreign Office (FO) said earlier today.

“The visit underscores Pakistan’s unwavering support for the security and sovereignty of Qatar and its commitment to peace and stability in the Middle East,” the statement said.

According to state-run Associated Press of Pakistan, PM Shehbaz and the Qatari emir’s meeting “will also include consultations on Israel’s unwarranted attacks on various countries in the region, its ongoing aggression, and efforts to establish peace in the region”.

Doha and Egypt have also been instrumental in US-backed attempts to hammer out a ceasefire in Gaza, and have been working tirelessly to help secure a deal that would see prisoners being freed on both sides.

Qatar and Pakistan share strong diplomatic ties, rooted in their shared faith and values.

Earlier this month, the two countries reaffirmed their commitment to regional peace and stability during a meeting between Pakistan’s top military official, General Sahir Shamshad Mirza and the Qatari military leadership on his visit to Qatar.

so whats the god doing while he is the god of both jews and muslims ?
I don’t understand your question.

There is no such thing as a God for Muslims or God for Jews or a God for Hindus, etc.

There is only one reality, the creator of the Universe, who we Muslims call Allah and Jews call Yahweh or Elohim.

This Creator is not owned by any one people, religion, or tradition. He is beyond human categories, yet He reveals Himself to us according to our capacity to receive. What matters in the end is not our labels but our actions, our sincerity, justice, mercy, and obedience to what has been revealed. He will judge every human being individually. No community gets a free pass. Being born into a certain faith does not guarantee salvation.

However, we Muslims believe that Islam represents the final and preserved revelation of God’s will, revealed to the greatest of creation, the Prophet Mohammad SAW (for the whole of humanity as a final message), a continuation and completion of the message sent through the prophets of Israel, Jesus, and many others. To follow Islam, then, is to align with what God has most directly commanded for humanity in this final age. That is why Muslims feel confident that in submitting to Allah, we are walking the straightest path.

What distinguishes Muslims is that we not only strive to follow His commands, but we also have Iman, true faith. Iman means more than simply believing that God exists; it is to trust in Him completely, to affirm what He has revealed: belief in Allah, His angels, His scriptures, His messengers, the Last Day, and His divine decree. This Iman is what anchors us, purifies our intentions, and gives meaning to our worship and obedience.

So while Muslims do not claim ownership of God, we believe that through Islam, we have been given the clearest and final guidance, and that Iman, when joined with righteous deeds, is the key to success in the Hereafter. Yet, even for Muslims, faith is not a guarantee if it is not lived sincerely. For God is just, and He will favor none except those who truly submit to Him with sincerity of heart and deed.

This life is a test and is not permanent and we are all being tested through wealth and poverty, health, sickness, power, oppression, etc. and we will all be judged accordingly. So, while those who think they can get away with genocide and massacres because God does not do anything to stop it so he must be on their side, are deluded. He is testing them and they will pay in the next world.

Appreciate for this post. I am genuinely looking to understand Islam through questions but often met with trolls rather than answers. You have put it in simple words to understand rather than some posters who try yo demean other religions.

Only if muslims can maintain this view in true sense, there would be no reason for clashes.

Often I find posters, trying to talk Islam is superior to other religions, trying to define what is right / wrong and bringing religion into every aspect of life. It can be applicable to you believers but applying same lens to others will irritate others obviously.

For God is just, and He will favor none except those who truly submit to Him with sincerity of heart and deed.
This is what I believe as a Hindu and the God I believe. And this should be the most important thing. Rather than bringing right / wrong in every aspect of life, sincerity towards god should be reflected in the good deeds we do.

I have my stereotypes on Islam being more extreme in views compared to other religions. And these came from small things.

Like during Eid or some muslim festivals, neighbors bring haleem or other things to celebrate and I participate too. But when we give some food, they deny. Its fine but they treat it as a SIN to eat because its from other religion. I can accept refusing to eat it but not considering it as a SIN.
I do find religious intolerance stems from these things for Muslims

I have not come across food being a sin to eat from non-Muslims before. Unless the food is haram or it is slaughtered in the name other than Allah, but I don’t think Hindus do that.

I think salvation is more than good deeds. Our belief is first and foremost in Tawheed and Shahadah. I.e. the oneness of Allah and the conviction that there is no one worthy of worship but Allah and that the prophet Mohammad SAW being his final messenger. This is the equivalent of turning up and putting your name of the exam paper, i.e. the most basic/fundamental aspect of taking an exam without which you will not pass. Similarly that is the requirement of salvation. So if you reject this or do anything to contradict it (e.g. Christians are not monotheists and believe in the trinity which is in contradiction to Tawheed), then there is no salvation.

Once you have the basic entry criteria, the rest is not guaranteed and even Muslims can end up in hellfire and not have salvation.

However, ultimately we don’t know how someone else has spent their life or what is in their heart and it is all up to Allah to decide.

Rubio arrives in Israel amid tensions over strike on Hamas leaders in Qatar

The US secretary of state, Marco Rubio, has arrived in Israel seeking to mend a rift with Washington’s other allies in the region over Israel’s attempted assassination of Hamas leaders in Qatar and the accelerated expansion of settlements on the occupied West Bank.

In talks with the Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, Rubio will try to balance criticism of the Israeli airstrike on a Doha building, which killed aides to a Hamas leader and a Qatari security officer, with a message of overall support for Israel before the expected formal recognition of Palestine by a number of other US allies, including the UK, France, Canada, Australia and Belgium.

Rubio, before his departure on Sunday, told reporters: “Obviously, we’re not happy about it. The president was not happy about it. Now we need to move forward and figure out what comes next.” He stressed the incident was “not going to change the nature of our relationship with the Israelis”.

The Netanyahu government is seeking to play down any rift with the Trump administration over the Doha strike, while remaining defiant over the attack.

“We have a very close dialogue with the administration. We’re coordinated with them and, relatively speaking, the American reaction was reasonable,” the Israeli ambassador to the UN, Danny Danon, said on Israeli army radio. “At the UN security council they expressed reservations, but the reservations were minor. We took into account that this would have a price.

“The Qataris are trying to ride on this. From their perspective, they are leveraging this incident. From our perspective, we delivered the clear message that we will pursue the terrorists everywhere.”

Asked if he was concerned about threats by Israeli officials to carry out further strikes in Qatar, Rubio said: “We’re going to meet with them. We’re going to talk about what the future holds. I’m going to get a much better understanding of what their plans are moving forward.

After Israel, Rubio is due to join Trump’s planned visit to Britain this week, which will reportedly soon receive its first group of injured and sick children from Gaza for treatment.

While in Jerusalem on Sunday, Rubio will visit the Western Wall with Benjamin Netanyahu, according to the Israeli prime minister’s office.

The unprecedented attack by Israel against Hamas leaders in an upmarket neighbourhood of Doha on Tuesday marked Israel’s first such strike against US ally Qatar, putting renewed strain on diplomatic efforts to bring about a truce in war-ravaged Gaza and drawing international criticism.

Trump has openly chided Netanyahu over the attack, which targeted Hamas leaders gathering to discuss a new ceasefire proposal put forward by the US.

Netanyahu has defended the operation, saying on Saturday that killing senior Hamas officials would remove the “main obstacle” to ending the war.

The talk of a ceasefire, still out of reach after months of failed negotiations, came as Israel has been intensifying its campaign in the Gaza Strip.

In recent days, it has ramped up efforts to seize control of Gaza City, the territory’s largest urban area, telling residents to evacuate and blowing up numerous high-rise buildings it said were being used by Hamas.

While thousands of people have evacuated the city, according to the Israeli military and Hamas, many more remain.

Gaza’s civil defence agency said 32 people were killed by Israeli fire on Saturday.

Netanyahu and his government have defied international criticism throughout the nearly two-year war, but it continued to mount this week.

On Friday, the UN general assembly voted to back a revival of the two-state solution, in open defiance of Israeli opposition.

Israeli allies Britain and France, alongside several other western countries, are preparing to recognise Palestinian statehood at a UN gathering this month out of exasperation at Israel’s conduct of the Gaza war and in the occupied West Bank.

London and Paris, joined by Berlin, also called for an immediate halt to Israel’s offensive in Gaza City. Nevertheless, Israel retains the backing of its most powerful ally and biggest arms supplier, the US.

Before Rubio’s visit, the state department spokesperson Tommy Pigott said the US’s top diplomat would show “our commitment to fight anti-Israel actions including unilateral recognition of a Palestinian state that rewards Hamas terrorism”.

“He will also emphasise our shared goals: ensuring Hamas never rules over Gaza again and bringing all the hostages home.”

In Israel, opponents of the Netanyahu government have sought to put pressure on ministers to end the war in return for the release of Israeli hostages held in Gaza.

On Saturday, the Hostages and Missing Families Forum, the main campaign group, accused the Israeli prime minister of being the “one obstacle” to freeing the hostages and accused him of repeatedly sabotaging ceasefire efforts.

Of the 251 people taken hostage by Hamas militants in October 2023, 47 remain in Gaza, including 25 whom the Israeli military says are dead.

The war was sparked by Hamas’s October 2023 attack on Israel, which resulted in the deaths of 1,219 people, mostly civilians, according to an Agence France-Presse tally of official figures.

Israel’s retaliatory campaign in Gaza has killed at least 64,803 people, also mostly civilians, according to figures from Gaza’s Hamas-run health ministry, which the UN considers reliable.

The beghairati of Qatar and Saudi is on open display. Surely they would have cut relations and thrown out both the Americans and British for helping in the attack and then rebuilt their relationship with Iran. The irony that both Sunni and Shia see each other as bigger enemies than the ones that hate Muslims with each ounce of their energy and will, if they got a chance, exterminate all Muslims without a 2nd thought.
