We have heard this after every defeat recently. Can remember when we lost the 1st test to NZ, posters said it doesn't matter as we will win the series ) . Also we were told the England games don't matter .

Losing is not a good habit. And we are in that cycle of losing. A supporter will call his team out in times of struggle. Threads like these are stupid. How can you be positive about a team who hasn't won in 12 games LOL?

On a serious note, I think the batsmen failed to judge the pitch appropriately today. At the beginning was Fakhar was batting, he hit a few boundaries and everyone (myself included) began to think it's a 350-400 pitch as is usually the case at Trent Bridge. But, that wasn't the case.

The WI pacers started bowling a hard length and bowling short and that's definitely not our strongest facet. However, we should have negotiated that better. Imam and Fakhar got out to poor dismissals and Haris played a bad shot. Even when the openers got out, a partnership would've gotten us back in the game but the batsmen were looking too far ahead, to a massive total and in the process lost the plot.

They needed to respect the bowling during that period of play, considering the other WI bowlers. The likes of Nurse and Brathwaite could have been taken advantage of in the latter overs and Russell doesn't have the knee to keep bowling that type of spell. Needed to conserve wickets, at any cost. When Haris and then Babar got out, the match was all over.

I know you asked about Babar, but there isn't really much to discuss from an individual POV for any batsman today. It was a collective failure.

Wi fast bowlers are good they ran through strong england lineup month or two ago.
It was just a rare collapse we feilded our strongest 11 imo and people are saying bring malik or asif
Bringing back malik and asif will even weaken the lineup

Me either I did think honestly speaking Pakistan was going to win just a feeling I had I felt they would make 315 if they batted first and would win mainly through England batsman playing bad shots from being a little cocky that was my predictions
