What about the 2015 world cup where he didnt do anything against non minnows? What about the NZ ODI series where Hafeez and Babar made him look like a nothing batsman? What about the recently concluded T20 world cup where he didnt do anything and even lost us a game? In ODIs you dont need specialist openers and I can name you 6 better ODI batsmen we have. Azhar is the captain and he is opener. The fact is that even by our standards he is terrible at the international level. We have short memories and after every series he fails in we seem to forget that international bowlers know his game inside out. Even Khurram deserves a run over this guys not just based on this tournament but over list a games in general. And I think Khurram is also a limited batsman

Many here on PP don't rate this buffoon, rightly so. But again, how would you keep him away from national side when he plays like this.

Basically, in domestic, nobody (coaches and captains) has done any homework against this moke. Therefore, he makes run for fun. On contrary, at international stage every team knows his game inside out and knows how to trap this monkey.
