I will say because of politics and choice of selector. Abdul Qadir selected him because he rated him highly. Now selector came, Ahmed Shehzad did not have a good performance in the T20 world cup, so they treated him as just "a name" and dropped him.

But to be fair he was in really bad form, got selected for U19 WC last year and sucked there as well...

But he is a talent
