Lancashire re-sign Junaid Khan for this year's NatWest T20 Blast

Lancashire CCC is delighted to announce that Pakistan international Junaid Khan (27) has signed for the Club for this summer’s NatWest T20 Blast.

The fast bowler has played in 56 ODIs since his debut against the West Indies in April 2011 taking 83 wickets at an average of 28.77 and an economy rate of just over five. Meanwhile, in domestic T20 cricket, he has taken 115 wickets in 95 matches at an average of just over 20 with best figures of 4/12 for Lancashire Lightning against Birmingham Bears at Emirates Old Trafford in 2014.

The Pakistan fast bowler has already had two successful spells with Lancashire back in 2011 and 2014. Khan took 12 wickets in 2011 as Lancashire won seven of the eight T20 matches in which he played in, and he famously defended seven off the last over to help secure victory over Northamptonshire Steelbacks at Wantage Road.

Last stint with them was back in 2014. Since then he's been in terminal decline and his recent form will show that. People don't hate him, some people just like to call a spade a spade.

well i know he is on decline but he is most hated player on PP which is quite annoying .and he was sign

But if he doesn't then you experts will have to shut your trap. You seem to have superman vision and are seeing a chuck when even the commentators or umpires aren't seeing it. Remember when Ajmal was blatantly chucking even the commies were showing side-on and front-on slow-mos of his action.

I honestly don't think Junaid chucks. I don't see any bend. Maybe because he bends his arm before going into the action?

Ajmal got away for years. Junaid will get away for years, too. And the crackdown has stopped now - it was there to root out throwers just before 2015 WC.

If Ajmal was sitting out, he would've been saved.

If you can't use your eyes to see when he chucks, I'm afraid nothing will be able to help you see beyond this blind denial.

Though in Junaid's case, he isn't good enough to be in the team even with a suspect action, so he won't be in the team for long.

Stop cracking jokes. Junaid is a poor bowler. Just living on the Indian series. He has had many chances past few years but never impresses. Gets dropped then comes back gets hammered then dropped again.
