List of debutants for India in ODIs under MSK Prasad

I was wondering if anyone can provide a list of players who made their debut in Odis( not T20s) ever since MSK Prasad took over. Generally, most teams would use series prior to worldcup to experiement new players and try building a team for Worldcup.

But Indian team for some unknown reasons have different plans. They trying to pick and rotate same old garbge TTFs and while not having even one debutant post champions trophy. In last 6months or so we played series in Windies and SL, and also played home series against Aussies and NZ, will play SL pretty soon. But i cant recall single player making a debut for Indian team in Odis. Yes, S Thakur made a debut for India but even he was discarded in no time. Talk about building confidence for youngsters.
KL Rahul a good batting prospect was also discarded prematuredly, whereas Kedar Jadhav has been give endless opportunities to come good (not to mention he is thirty FREAKING two.)
Players like Pant, Pandey, KL Rahul, Iyer are supposed to be given at least 3 series to prove their worth before being discarded. But Mr MSK Prasad thinks players like Karthick, Dhoni, Jadhav are our future prospect whereas KL Rahul have been rotting in domestics.

Do you guys think we could somehow change our fortune before the worldcup and build a strong young team like Pakistan or will the next 2019 WC will be disaster in the making? I honestly have a feeling its #1992 and #2007 all over

Meanwhile PAK now has too much talent to choose from, esp in the bowling department. Imran Khan eas right. Pakistan have always produced more talented cricketers despite the huge population difference.

I do feel India cricket team for some strange reasons is stagnant ( if not regressing ) for a good while now. They seriously lack quality in batting ( other than kohli ofcourse may be pujara/riahne) to survive in away series . The selectors are not allowing any new faces enough chances to allow them to shine .

They should have brough in some youth in lower middle order . Its not looking good once Kohli is gone because there is no one noteworthy coming after kohli . We all know Dhoni is a finished article nowadays.
I would be slightly worried as a Indian fan as the likes of Dhonis , Karthics Jadevs are not going to serve India any purpose for world cup . It seems they are on the path of Pakistan team of previous years when seniors would take it as their right to be in the team.

It is really strange to see India not giving youngsters more chances. They give impression of being professional but that is obviously not true. What is a player like Dhoni doing in the T20 team? This is really hard to understand given they have so many youngsters playing IPL. Sanju Samson looked like a good batsman, why not give him chance?
Even Dhawan should not play T20s in my opinion.

It has nothing to do with the talent. India has a lot of talent in domestic cricket. You don't win in SA beating A team from South Africa without having talent. It is just that the current selection committee along with Virat aren't very experimental. One loss and Virat drops the young players. He did that against Australia and hopefully will not drop Shreyas and Siraj for the final game. Who cares about a T20 series? Just play the youngsters. Also it is stupid to try these young players in T20 games. India should have played Shreyas in ODI. The guy just scored 140 not out in SA to win the finals against their A team. Give him a fair run.

Yes Shreyas started well in the innings. Then he got tangled and did not get any timing whatsoever to hit! That may look bad on the eyes of selectors and even viewers. So he might get axed for next match! But one should understand that even Dhoni with all his experience and reputation couldn't hit the ball on the same day, So an old man has lost his reflexes. Similarly an young man is trying to gain reflexes at the top level. So you need to give him time. There are so many things going in his mind (the match pressure, Kohli on the other end, his place in the side amidst all the competition, etc) Everybody can't play like Kohli who is in the right apex!
