this team has no big superstars to attract casual expat Pakistani fans. Cricket especially isnt that popular amongst the younger 3rd and 4th gen Brit Pakistanis.
Football MMA Boxing has taken over cricket in that regard.
I'm actually feeling bad for the remaining 25% crowd. What humiliation, and waste of money over such pathetic team.
They are mugs to be honest, Pakistan don't win these games even when they have strong teams just need to look at their historic records to see that. When you look at the body language of the players it doesn't seem like they are that bothered about winning this one.

Gotta feel for Pakistan as you guys are running into an ATG Indian team.

I think one of the other things is that Pakistan don't have the superstars they once had. The likes of Wasim, Imran Khan, Waqar, Inzamam, Shahid Afridi, who were all major draws for the fans.
1. Ramadan. I personally don't wish to attend cricket / events during this holy month.
2. Pakistan already played a full tour last year, and are coming back next year for a short tour. Maxed out on Pakistani cricket.
3. Weather. Risky to attend early June especially games outside London.
4. Lack of star Pakistani names.
5. Opposition. No fun to see your team humiliated by your neighbours and have their fans rub it in your faces.
Sad to say when Pakistan -India tickets go on sale for World Cup 2019 I won't be bothering to purchase. Would rather see an even contest and your not getting that with these two teams.

I reckon probably about 75% of today's crowd is Indian.
Pakistanis losing interest in cricket or the Indians quicker to buy the tickets?

Babar, Shehzad, Sarfraz?
We did buy tickets, but sold them all at 4x the face value to all the Indians) Adil_94
Smart people who chose not to waste their hard earned money on this pathetic team.

My stand only had 5% Pakistani fans. Spent the entire day listening to Indian chants.
Were you in the Eric Hollies stand because I was one of only about 15 Pakistani fans in our block and we were just heavily outnumbered by Indians. There was quite a lot said to us but it was all in good spirit which I appreciated. The team was so pathetic that some of the Indians asked why were we still there and they would've walked if it was the other way round. When we left we were met with handshakes, waves and cheers from the Indian fans for sitting through that awful display which just shows how badly Pakistan played that the opposite fans felt pity for us. Though I do thank the Indians fans for the fact that there was no hurtful comments directed at us even though we were completely outnumbered by them and that most of them were probably drunk considering the amount they drank![]()
That's disappointing. Even in Birmingham and Bradford?
Being at the match yesterday, I would actually say that 85% of the crowd were Indian and the rest were made up of Neutrals and Pakistan fans.
Ramadan has a lot to do with it as well as our 8th place ranking.
The last time we outnumbered the Indians was the 1999 world cup match at Old Trafford.
If they are superstars then God help the future of Pakistan cricket.
Poor excuse by some fans here. They don't know that we people in Pakistan writhe for international cricket to resume in Pakistan but these people who have chances to watch these games,They either sell their tickets or give poor excuses like these for not going to match.I know Pak had a pathetic team but look at Bangladesh,Everyone knew that they had nil chance against England and Australia but still their fans flock to stadium in huge numbers and I am afraid there will be short number of Pak fans even in the next games
