What's new

Manchester United | 2016-17 Season

Schniderlin joined Manchester United for more game time and now look at him. :))).

I have always been a bastin fan and I can't believe how he's being treated. He's better than Fellani, he could do a job even a sub yet the special one doesn't even put him on the bench.

Schniderlin yes, bastian no.

Its a habit of deluded fans to want players not playing when everything is going wrong, bastian was a disaster last season and is finished, he looks old enough to be a grand dad.

With Morgan you would have expected him to be a complete Mourinho type player, shielding the back 4, breaking up play and pressing, not sure why he has not been picked yet, but when Fellani plays Pogba just deteriorates, he was so much better with Herrera and Mata. If Pogba is to play the number 10 role, Herrera and Schneiderlin must start in CM.

Chelsea beating Mourinho at the Bridge will be the perfect end to the weekend, but a draw will be the most favorable result for Arsenal.

Chelsea winning will delight me but I will be very happy to see a draw too.

Done! :)

Keep denying that Messi is not the most gifted individual attacker of all time. I am sure it will take you somewhere.

Just don't expect all the top managers of today to agree with you though, that of course does not mean that your opinion does not matter. It still does.

However, majority of the world are not blind to Messi's greatness.

Messi has been declining since 2012 - he will never hit those heights in 2011/12 when he scored 60 goals for Barca under Pep.

Players with terrible attitudes hardly make it big at the top level. Pogba in spite of all the talent does not have the right mindset to play at this level, and he is too focused on being a hero rather than do the simple things right.

There is no point of scoring a wonder goal every 3 months when you cannot make simple passes and tackles week in week out. He is a lazy show pony who is more interested in his hairstyles and dancing skills than improving himself as a footballer.

Sorry to say but he's a total waste of money. An old Bastian is still a much better midfielder than him.

United need someone like Kroos, Modric, Verratti etc. in the midfield. Not this dabbing clown.

Pogba has been pretty lacklustre so far with Man Utd but to say that he does not belong at this level is unfair.

He was a top performer at Juventus who are arguably the 2nd best team in the world right now and has been rated as a top midfielder for several years now.

He is struggling with a new system and English soccer but needs time - what does or does not do in his free time (dabbing, hairstyle etc.) should not concern anyone.

He was made to look good by Pirlo and Vidal at Juventus. Now that he doesn't have those two, he is struggling. He is overrated as hell.

Jose the thug whispered something in Conte's ear after the match. Apparently he was unhappy with the way Conte pumped up the Chelsea fans after the fourth goal. I hate this guy so much. This is the same guy who pokes people in the eye and calls other managers specialist in failure. The reality is that he is now the specialist in failure and I can't wait for him to be sacked. I hate him.

Although Felliani is pure garbage - Anders Herrera, Mata and Daley Blind are all top class. Pogba would do better as a box to box midfielder rather than a pure no. 10 (Mata should play that role).

I like Carrick and Schweinsteiger too so not sure why they are on the bench. Carrick in particular has been a great deep lying midfielder over the years.

I'm not saying Bastin should start every match, but coming on for 20 minutes off the bench and just seeing our games is something which he is more than capable off. He's been harshly treated.

Schniderlin wasn't a regular under lvg and now jose it could be a sign that he isn't good enough. But he is still a better player than fellani so him and herra starting could help pogba improve.

One of the most well known teams in the world so amazing outpuoutpouring of anger and ridicule when anything happens to them

Wonder if also the most hated team?

We will be fine if the media doesn't start applying silly pressure. We r 6 pointsix of top spot

Wow! Ibra has been nominated for the Ballon d'Or. Honestly don't think he deserves it.

Amazing how he was scoring a hat-trick every other match for PSG and is not looking half as threatening in the Premier League. A glaring indictment of Ligue 1's defensive standards.

Considering he has all summer to move on, he has been treated fairly, as Jose came in and told him straight away he is not a part of his plans. Yet he stood here himself as he knew he is finished and no top teams want him.

Also if we now play him, it means other MF get less time, i would like to see Herrera and Schneirderlin more, and some of Carrick, THERE SIMPLY IS NO PLACE FOR BASTIAN, he needs to understand and move on to a smaller club some where.

Also under LVG, no one was good enough, look how Herrera is now playing, he looked like a complete noob under LVG, i also stated this last year on Morgan, it was LVG that was the problem not he himself, he was playing a completely different role to the one that made him at Southamption.

Man U fans and Real Madrid fans will never accept Messi as the greatest just because Ronaldo played and plays for them. Pure haters.

And those who backing Mourinho, you lot are deluded. Poor decision to make him manager. Just because every Man U fan was hyping Mourinho when they got him they don't want to say anything against him to make themselves look stupid. I never seen Man U play such poor boring football like they did against Liverpool. And he ain't done anything better then Van Gaal despite making record signing of Pogba.

Messi is no longer the main ST, and the goal scoring burden is less on him now because of Suarez and Neymar.

I don't think he has declined at all except for losing a bit of acceleration. He is still 60 goal player if he plays as a ST/False 9.

Totally agree.

My reservations over Pogba are only getting confirmed now, after watching him week in week out.

He is a classic highlight reel aka YouTube player. He will pull off a 5 star skill every now and then, score a cracking goal every 10 games, but he cannot do the basics right.

Apart from his 'moments', he will do nothing and will largely an ineffective player. Juventus sold him for 100m but bought a superior midfielder in Pjanic for 25m.

He is no different now than he was at Juventus, he took the plaudits while other and better midfielders did the dirty and the actual 'midfield' work, but he was simply in a better team so his moments came a bit more often.

He is simply very overrated and very, very, very overpriced.

errr, so this is what it has come too, every time we lose you will dream of me.

I'm still waiting for your reply to my other post

Reply to what? You want me to comment on your fantastic 'shifting' of goalposts from 'been hearing about Arsenal finishing above us for 10 years' to 'only winning the league matters?', when I told you that we were not talking about winning the league but rather, finishing above Man United?

Yes I agree. Finishing above a now-irrelevant Man United does not matter. It is a club that stinks of mediocrity today and we should aim higher than finishing above Man United.

As for as the tide turning in NL is concerned, let Spurs finish above Arsenal only for once and I will agree with you that the tide has turned.

The tide has not turned. However, Spurs have closed the gap significantly.

Tide however has turned emphatically in Manchester.

Nice to see a poster of your quality back.

Only problem for us, is that if we had played 343 earlier, things may have been different at against Liverpool and Arsenal.

Thank you.

Conte is a brilliant manager. He is passionate and the supporters and players love him. Unlike Mourinho he doesn't fall it with someone in the dressing room every season.

He is quite similar to Klopp who himself took time adjusting to the PL. If Chelsea are patient for once, there is no doubt that Conte will lead them to great success.

I've never laughed so much. Brilliant

:))) :)))

Tbf I do feel that Man Utd looked great till Pedro scored. Went pretty south for Pogba and co after that.

Seriously though, I've never seen 343 work wonders in a loooong time. 2-0,3-0 and 4-0 now.

I hope that is either a sarcastic remark or a typo, because Pedro scored after 30 seconds. :))

So it was ONLY Man Utd and Real Madrid fans that made him win the Ballon D'or 3 times over Messi, how illogical are you.

Like i mentioned before, they are both great but the difference between them, is Ronaldo can tear teams apart single handily no matter what team he plays in, where as Messi can only operate in a unit where he is provided assistance. Therefore Ronaldo is the better player.

As for Mourinho, not many MU fans where hyping him up, so i dont know where you got that from, you are just coming across as a hater. Infact wasnt it you who kept making threads that we are finished when ever Fergie didnt win the league and even thought Mourinho with Chelsea was the new super power :))) :))) :)))

Ohh ok, keep running away then.

So now your only achievement is that you have finished above us in the league :))) unfortunately it seems like that was your greatest achievement in the last 3 years, yes we did stink of mediocrity and fell to your level, but that was just a transition period of us after sir Alex retired, what is your excuse?

As for the tide in Manchester, like i said even Pep is now struggling and will be exposed in the EPL, now his arrogant side is showing, and its only time before his squad turn against him, he is more suited to one club leagues like in Germany, where he can pretend to be a great.

as for north London, the writing is on the wall, Spurs are going through a revolution with Pochutini, you can not keep up, the tide here has definitely turned.

No I didn't make threads, I just made one thread saying the era of Man U is over as everyone knew Ferguson was close to retiring which he did few years later. And the squad he left behind despite winning the league wasn't that great and my point was proven and you have seen the decline. I said Man City will over take Man U and they did.

And your saying the tide has turned in North London. That is funny as in my lifetime I ain't seen Spurs finish ahead of Arsenal. Think you got mistaken between Manchester and North London.
And you said Arsenal ain't finished ahead of Man U for 10 years and Mamoon just told you we have for the past seasons but then you change the topic to but you didn't win the league. Grow up stop behaving like a child changing your own comments when you get put straight. And no one called it a achievement of any sorts finishing ahead of Man U. You yourself claimed you finished ahead of Arsenal for 10 years but when you realised you messed up you changed the topic lol.

And it's funny you mention Pep is struggling and in his first year in England he sits top of the league despite struggling lol.

And yes Spurs have certainly overtaken us. And are a revolution. Been hearing it for past 10 years that lol. They undefeated in the league but still a point behind us that shows that we are falling behind as we ahead of them lol.

Your just like a fan Mourinho who can't accept the reality and instead of concentrating on your own team you bring other teams in your conversations to take attention away from your club. And yes for Mourinho and deluded fans like you everything is Arsenal for you.

Messi needs assistance good joke. I seen him tearing teams more then Ronaldo who is selfish. Messi has destroyed teams all alone many times but you put a blind eye to that. I ain't seen Messi score as much as tap ins as Ronaldo has.
And as if Ronaldo has played with average players. At United he had Scholes, Giggs, Tevez and Rooney who was in his prime then and at Madrid he has played and is playing alongside so many great payers and we seen in recent years his selfishness. Always wants attention and the goals doesn't care about his team mates.

Says the LVG supporter :))). Do i need to say anything more.

Coming from a guy who hated Jose when he was at Chelsea but started worshipping him the very moment he got available. Hypocrite.

PS I couldn't care less about LVG now that he is gone. It seems like he is on your mind a lot these days.

Thank you.

Yeah, here's hoping he gets full access to transfers, David Luiz was like his 6th choice CB, a very panic buy that has magically turned out good.

Err, yes you did make threads, and it wasn't about Fergie retiring, it was about him being finished as a manager :))) yet we went on to win the league that season and you disappeared only to come back to do it again the season :))) i dont even need to reply to your rubbish.

No i didn't hate him and i'm not worshipping him, i was against his appointment at first due to his behaviour but even made the point how he guarantees trophies, i was never against him as a manager only his arrogance and behaviour, most professionals who were against him coming here, were for the same reasons, only a deluded person like would call him a rubbish manager after everything he achieved.

and no, i didn't change my stance on him, but now he is here, i support him and would like to give him at least a season before i judge him, instead of calling for his head after 8 games. MU is in this state because of deluded fans like you who want results from day 1 a manager takes over and when he gets replaced and results dont change, the old one become a hero again. This is hypocrisy and you are the definition of a hypocrite.

I didn't make threads I made a thread that it's the end of the Man U and Fergusons era and Man City are taking over and the past 5 years they have clearly over taken Man U which you can't digest.

You say Man U finished ahead of Arsenal for 10 years and when you get told the reality that it didn't happen as last 3 seasons Arsenal finished ahead then you yourself say Arsenal fans call that a achievement. When did Mamoon or anyone call that a achievement or talked about that at all. It was only mentioned after you was celebrating in your imaginary world that Man U finished ahead of Arsenal for 10 years. But when reality struck then you became abnormal. Who lives in lala land who thinks Mourinho and Ronaldo are the best, Messi and Guardiola are crap, Man U finished ahead of Arsenal for 10 years and tide of North London has shifted when Spurs ain't even finished ahead of us despite them being at their best period ever. And on the other hand you don't see the tide shifting in Manchester as they winning leagues instead of Man U and playing champions league football whilst your great Man U club are playing Thursday night football lol.
Even the likes of Spurs and Liverpool are over taking Man U.

United vs City coming up in the League Cup. Both managers are under pressure after recent results, Jose in particular. Should be an interesting game.

Expecting all haters to be absent today.

Looks like some confidence will restored now, balance of the team is so much better without Fellani, Herrera and Valencia really impressing this season.

...and where are the Pep lovers gone now. It was obvious like i mentioned months back, once he gets a real challenge he will be exposed. What a fake manager. Looks like its gona go all collapasing down from here now and he will be back at Barcelona soon asking Messi to revive his career or go back to manging in one team leagues like bayern or paris where he can spend his hundreds of millions and pretend to be a great manager.

Funny how a win in some mickey mouse cup gets someone so excited and brag about.
Every team goes through a bad patch and Guardiola has been found out really. Still sits top of the league despite him being found out and the greatest manager ever Mourinho down the pecking order despite him managing in England many years. Let's talk when Man U and Man City play in the league not in some mickey mouse cup which cup names get changed every year lol.

Greatest manager?
No, the greatest manager is the one who gave you sleepless nights. You obviously are still not over your nightmares you had of Fergie ruling over you for 20 odd years, it probably was funny to you then and those trophy ladden years were probably micky mouse cups to you then, no wonder you spent your whole time on PP in the last 7/8 years posting about how Fergie is finished, only to end up seeing him lift the trophy year after year, by the looks of it, it seems like you are still haunted by us.

I spent my whole time last 7 years posting about Man U and Ferguson lol good joke.
I made one thread in 2011 and since United won the league once in 2013 so stop lying that year after year he lifted it when he retired in 2013 and I made the just ONE THREAD so stop lying like a little baby. And we seen their struggles last 3 seasons. Said Man City will over take which they have and which you can not digest. Not only Man City even likes of Liverpool and Spurs are over taking your great club.
And you say Guardiola can only win with Messi which shows how a great player Messi is or he can only win in leagues which are one sided. Then what does that make Ferguson who just managed in a era where Man U were ahead of everyone else especially financially so they could buy big so it was mostly one sided through out the 90s till Wenger came to Arsenal. And then Chelsea and from 2010 onwards Man City start competing which signalled an end of the Ferguson era and he decided to retire which I called in 2011 and 2 years later he retired. At least Guardiola is out to prove he is one of the best managers in the world by going different countries to win. And he will be happy so far as it's only his first 3 months in England and they sit top despite having a little struggle. I am sure you would rather be in Man City shoes for past few seasons even this season as they sit top.
And stop going on lying that I made threads and threads. Made just one thread and clearly your club has gone down hill. If last 3 seasons don't prove it then your deluded.
And I don't have nightmares over football like you do. Think you having too many nightmares as the era of Man U has fallen and my thread I made in 2011 has come true lol. Keep having your nightmares and enjoy them. They making you more deluded which keeps this forum entertained. Good luck dreaming. Keep the hype and delusion to yourself now lol.

Shak making hay. He deserves this. Been through all the tears. Stuck with Arsenal through thin and thinner. Really deserves to enjoy this period for United.

This is hard to read.

Good confidence restored by Man U. What a result at home to Burnley. Bit over confidence by Man U fans who got all excited after beating Man City 2nd team in some next cup.

Fake Manager Guardiola exposed lol.
Back on track with a thumping away win at West Bromwich and now beating the might Barcelona. But I hope Man City pick few injuries or Bravo and Stones carry on making mistakes so they drop points.

Bastian back training with the first team. Good to see. You simply don't treat a player of his class like that. He and Carrick should rotate from now on as both can't play every game but their experience and class is vital in the team.

Brother there is a Man City thread as well.

I understand you have been paranoid by our success since all the years you have lived through in our shadows and are now enjoying the moment, but this isn't a City thread mate.

True these two need to be in the team, atleast one of them for sure instead of Fellaini.

The awkward moment when you realize that you lashed out €105 million on Pogba while your rivals bought a much superior midfielder in Gundogan for €25 million.

It must really, really hurt to be a Man Utd fan right now. :))

Wait till Pogba scores another screamer or does a 5 star skill. Man U fans and the media will go crazy and then Pogba will go to sleep for next 5+ games :-)))

Really impressed with Gundogan. Top player and if he stays injury free he will be one of the best CM in the world this season.

So you are going to judge them based on current form, when you know form is temporary and class is permanent.

There is no doubt in my mind that Pogba will become the best CM in the world, the talent is there and he has to adjust from a series A mind set to a EPL one, he is only 23 and will boss midfields for years to come.

As for Gundogan he was always a risk, the only question on him remains, how long will he last? he is made out of plastic otherwise he would be worth much higher than what City bought him for.

Yes class is permanent, I hope you watched Gundogan at BVB. Pogba is just a highlight reel player, far from the best CM in the world. Gundogan has the talent to be the best in the world, but his big challenge will be to stay fit, but given the price tag, he is an absolute steal.

He is capable of the spectacular but he lacks the basics. Wasn't even the best midfielder in Juventus, Vidal and Marchisio were better and now Juventus have replaced him with Pjanic who is also better.

Of course you have no doubt in your mind because your team bought a 40m player for 100m and you have to rationalize the decision.

Gundogan was great when he first started but it went all down hill from there with his injuries and has never been the same player again. Now you of course have a habit of hyping up City players due to your hatred of us from living under our shadows for so many years. Now you are excited because Gundogan got 2 tap ins yesterday, let him play out the season before you go OTT with him, We saw what happened with Sterling.

...and even if he does stay injury free he will still not be on the level of Pogba, that of course is when Pogba find his form and rhythm going.

Now coming on to Pogba, its hilarious that now even Marchiso is better, the whole team was centered around Pogba, it was not us, all major teams were willing to throw money to get Pogba, who much did Vidal sell for and Marchiso. LOL

and Pjanic, LOL. Hes struggling to fill Pogbas role there. Due you even watch football.

...as for his valuation i can agree he's not worth 100m, but way more than 40m, more like 60 or 70, however we payed premium to stop him from going to RM.

So what exactly has Jose the special one done to Rooney? The guy looks low on confidence. I agree that Rooney isn't the player he was 7-8 years ago but he still is a good player and was very good in the second half of last season and played a crucial role in helping us win the FA Cup. Now the guy can't even control the ball. He is clearly struggling due to a lack of confidence and I blame Jose for that.

Pogba got injured not that he is a big loss or anything. Now hopefully the real word class midfielders like Bastian would get an opportunity at last, you know players who take their football seriously and not focus on getting stupid haircuts and doing stupid dab celebrations. If we don't beat Swansea on Sunday, the title is gone and maybe even the top 4 too.

Rooney is done & that's not Mourinho's fault. Man U should sell him off.

Rooney problem is this:

When hes playing, everyone is crying for him to be dropped and when he is dropped its like we sold Ronaldo.

Honestly MU have to many fake fans who act like school kids, who want changes when there not there and when they happen they have no patience and want results from day 1,

Rooney seems like he is past it now, his first touch has always been bad now it's getting worse. Unfortunately the problem is that Ibrahimovich is also finished and done and it means we only have Rashford to play upfront. At this rate we are missing 2 goals every game due to ibra and rooneys poor touches and finishing.

José Mourinho lets rip at Manchester United’s ‘summer friendly’ attitude

José Mourinho accused his Manchester United players of lacking commitment and said they deserved to lose against Fenerbahce for treating Thursday’s Europa League group game as a “summer friendly”.

United went behind after 69 seconds when Moussa Sow gave Dick Advocaat’s side the lead with an spectacular overhead kick in a 2-1 defeat for United. Fenerbahce’s second goal came from an equally impressive Jeremain Lens free-kick in the 58th minute before Wayne Rooney scored a late consolation.

An awful night for Mourinho and his team was compounded by Paul Pogba limping off before the half hour and his availability for the trip to Swansea City on Sunday is in doubt.

Mourinho, though, was clear where culpability lay for a shambolic display. “They deserved to win,” he said. “Football is not just about quality – it is about effort and commitment, it is about playing to your limits. In an atmosphere like this, to concede an early goal gives the opposition exactly what they want. The opponent can then defend and counterattack us with a lead and that is our fault for letting them be in that situation.

“They were playing a Champions League final and we were playing a summer friendly by the way the game started. After their second goal we reacted and could have got a different result but I didn’t feel we deserved more as over the 90 minutes we didn’t play well enough. We didn’t fully play to our maximum.”

Mourinho was unhappy United did not heed his pre-game message. “I am disappointed as I have quite a big experience of playing against Turkish teams,” he said. “I pass to the players all my experience, and my experience is that when you play against them at home it’s easy always – 2-0 or 4-0. You come to Turkey and it’s a completely different story. I told them to wait for that and not be focused on an easy game – be ready for completely different game but we started the game sleeping.”

Rooney’s goal was only his second in four games for United. Mourinho said: “We are not scoring goals, that’s the reality, but we produced, we create. We had enough chances. We had great positions to score, headers not going in direction of the ball, bad passes in the final third, shots that could hit the target and didn’t.”

Mourinho pointed to injuries to Eric Bailly and Chris Smalling at centre-back, saying the combination of Daley Blind and Marcos Rojo as their replacements hampered the team. “It is difficult to cope, having to play with two left-backs at centre-back,” he said. “This makes it tough to cope with the physicality of the game.

“I know we have a problem and especially away from home – it’s difficult to play with two proper central defenders. Football starts with a goalkeeper and two strong central defenders. We are playing with two left-backs and Blind is having to play central defender on the right side [which hampered him even more].”

The defeat leaves United third in Group A with six points, one behind Fenerbahce and Feyenoord. If they are to guarantee passage to the knockout stage United must win their last two games – against the Dutch team at Old Trafford and away at Zorya in Ukraine.

Of their qualification hopes, Mourinho said: “We don’t depend on the others, we depend on ourselves. If we win both games we qualify. Even with four points we could qualify, since Feyenoord play Fenerbahce and both sides cannot get maximum points.

“Honestly I think we are in a better situation than Fenerbahce. Fenerbahce have seven points – even if they beat Zorya at home we go to the last game. It’s impossible for Feyenoord and Fenerbahce to win the same match [when they play each other]. We depend only on us. We don’t need to wait for results or know what is going to happen.”

Henrikh Mkhitaryan came on in the second half for a first appearance since being taken off at half-time during the defeat against Manchester City at home on 10 September. The Armenian failed to make an impact. Asked of his thinking regarding the forward, Mourinho said: “He has to do more. It’s as simple as that.

“We have big expectations in the club and lots of players for these positions. He has to play better than Juan Mata, Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial, and it’s as simple as that. Every manager in the world wants to win matches and play the players he thinks can help the team and I’m no different.”

No. Everyone (except the British media) was glad he was finally dropped.

Good to see Pogba and Ibra return to their best. United fans will obviously hope to see more of the same against tougher opposition.

We have struggled away against Swansea so it was a good win and a confidence booster going into the Arsenal match.

Good performance today. Even my man Wazza played well who brought up 100 assists in the premier league. Only Giggs and Lampard have more. When you factor in all his goals as well, it's not bad for a 'rubbish' player. Nice to see Ibra scoring as well. Damn boring international break. I seriously hate international football.

Looks like team is improving obviously gutted with the late goal, with 2 complete school boy errors by Rashford and Jones together to gift Arsenal the goal but considering they were suppose to be the team on form and we were struggling it was a good game,

this formation suits the team much better with Carrick at the base, herrera playing brilliant stuff in his box to box role and pogba given freedom.

Now only need to sort the defence out and get Martial back to form. Have full faith that Mourinho will deliver the goods just need to sign a CB and i don't understand the problem with Henrikh, looks like they fell out after he went on international duty and got injured and couldnt play the derby

united probably played their best game of The season yesterday and Arsenal played there worst yesterday still they couldn't win ...shows the gap between 2 teams..except DDG (even he is overrated and not even close to being the best keeper Oblak Neuer are miles better) and Pogba (not worth 89m still a very good player though) would make the Arsenal side .. Remember after 8-2 humilation at OT Neville was saying that the Gap between the 2 sides is huge except RVP (who played for arsenal back than) no gooner would make the united side opposite is the case now..and things will only get better from here as once Arsenal have a huge amount of money in the bank and when wenger leaves we will spend huge amount of money like u guys had to spent after ferggie left ..hopefully tuchel or loew or simeone is our next manager...

Mourinho after 13 league games: 20 pts
Van Gaal after 13 league games: 22 pts
Moyes after 13 league games: 22 pts

Another confidence booster PetroDollars?

United just don't look confident nowadays, be it in defence, midfield or attack.
A club lacking self-belief and struggling to thrive under all their post-Ferguson managers' playing styles. :ibutt

Rooney plays his best game in years yet he is dropped. HK is dropped for rubbish Lingard despite impressing against Feyenord. Keeps persisting with Fellani. At least he named Bastian in the team for a change. Hoping to see him get some game time as he is quality. Rashord is not a winger. He is a striker fgs Jose. With each passing match, it looks like we massively overpaid for Pogba.

Rashford not looking the same as last year

Alot has been said about rashford but i think he has been better, he scored goals last season as a no.9 now he is playing as a winger so hes not scoring but at the same time he is playing with alot more confidence and hes dribbling and beating players with ease at times

If you have been watching our games it tells how bs stats are in football

Mourinho is right that we have been unlucky and we've been incredibly unlucky this season

By this time under moyes and lvg all hope was lost and the team looked dead but here we play our best football and end up losing or drawing,

Ibra missed sitters and soo many of them this season, then we came up againt great keepers, luck hasnt been on our side this season

Rashford not looking the same as last year

Rashford looked Trashford vs Arsenal and ham ..but he still a talent and is only 19 i really rate him and first of all he ain't a winger and mind u he plays for a mid table club if he played for a top club like Chelsea Lpool Arsenal or City as a Striker he would easily been a 20+ goal striker ..he needs to stay at finished club like united and get some form before a top english club or foreign club like madrid(s) , Barca or Juve come calling ...on the game a good point for United as they are 9 points off relegation the battle for relegation not gonna be easy Palace Swansea Hull Sunderland United all these teams are gonna battle it out for Relegation big time

SFs of the league cup. I know it's only the league cup but I wanna win this as cup competitions are our best hope of trophies atm. The FA Cup win last season was one of the best moments for me as a United fan and I wanna experience that again so I hope we win it. Good performance from the team. Rooney playing like a captain finally. I hope he keeps up his good form as a good Rooney is valuable to us. Mkhi played his best game in a United shirt. The guy is class. You can just tell. Hope he stays fit. Nice to Bastian come on for the last five minutes. He got a lovely ovation from the crowd and I hope Jose gives him more game time as he is quality.

An angry Rooney is the best Rooney. Guess we can thank that god awful paper for the news release of his boozing that seems to have lit a fire up him.

True, the difference between Rooney now and 5 years ago is that before he was a council estate hooligan, now hes become a gentleman.
