Matchfixers thread

No we are in Zizou cup.We are out of CDF cup.Our Matchday is QF 2 against Mogodishu!
 
I'm thinking of sticking with the same formation again with our best XI. This is our best chance for a trophy this season so should throw everything at it.
 
There may be injuries as Walcott and Ansaldi hobbled off last game.Bale is injured as well!!!!
 
4-2-3-1(deep) is a formation which does well in 1-off games.It's the formation used by the best club in the world-Bayern Munchen! I feel we struggle in the retention of possession! Spain have also use this formation to much success!

WE go for custom but there is a growing injury list so that's why we have to change a bit!

LOOK out for injuries as we need our core players fit for Zizou cup!!!!! I was thinking of keeping the same team which emphatically hammered Astropussy!Put Trasch in for Ansaldi and that's it.Carroll has regained his form and should continue to start!
 
I was thinking Adebayor also did well last game and could get a chance. But I'll go with Carroll again. Team named.
 
Lost the league game and also picked up some injuries. Lets try this 4-2-3-1(deep) as you suggested for the cup game.

Thank you very much Genghis but you made the right decision.I was also happy to see picking Asamoah in DM which allowed us to control the game.We need meticulous planning for the semi final as this is our only hope of success this year!
 
Next is a league away game against Gawalmandi Gang. What are your thoughts on this.

I am impressed by your constantly reverting back to Custom!I was thinking of giving Caulker a rest. Maybe shift Song/Barzagli there.Barzagli has more experience than Caulker so maybe able to deal with Pato. Our defence has been excellent since Caulker took over!I was expecting Barzagli to be the starter!Rest of the team I quite like.I am sure you wanted Adebayor last game so play him if you want.I don't mind.

I am the captain of :dd now so looking for a VC. Of course you will get a good contract with me. Need some enthusiasm in the squad, something I'm sure you will bring.

Caulker has been immense which is why I'm hesitant to rest him. But I guess with injuries at this time of the year it's probably best to try out Barzagli.

Adebayor played the last cup game and played 90 minutes I don't mind resting him fof Carroll this time.
 
I think it does not matter who we play in ST at the moment currently.Carlos Tevez is in good form at the format so he is the regular.If he is not in good form,then we can put Walcott there.Need Bale to be fit as he gives us width on the left and he is a world class player! Silva's workload should also be managed I feel as he is too important to lose.So rest him the next game or game after! I like the fact our DM is a position of strength and all players who are playing there are performing! It's a dilemma picking between Song and Khedira! The scary fact is that Milner is our highest goalscorer from midfield which surprised me as he was not in your pecking order at the start as Johnson was being given preference. His versatility stands out.I think 4-2-3-1 is good backup and should be used in desperate times!Do you know who we got in semi of Zizou cup?

We got to be on our A game in terms of formation and performance. Last time,we did well with a custom formation but BALE and Ansaldi were fit!
 
Last 2 games have ended in defeat but luckily for us Biryani did not capatalize!Looks our custom Formation has deserted us at this stage of the season!Maybe try something else out like 3-4-3 or 4-2-3-1?
 
Genghis, make a board request to expand stadium as it is the end of the season so we won't be hit that much in terms of attendance!Just a thought to consider!
 
Good point about the stadium expansion. Will ask.

With regards to the custom formation I think it's fine. Just some players don't fit in well with it. Disappointed with Barzagli, I think he's played his last game.
 
Some changes to consider then: Play Walcott in ST as Tevez has not sored last couple of games.Freshen up AM position by playing Dembele instead of Silva who can be shifted to the wings if you want as he is versatile! Get Khedira in DM!
 
I'll give Dembele another chance I guess.

Yeah great combination all season. Would have loved to have the same partnership in the PPCL but Teesra wont budge.

Looks like 4-2-3-1 deep I suggested for cup games has done the trick for us in the zizou cup! We won thanks to another solid defensive performance which is important in 1 0ff games like cup games.Don't forget, we are 2nd in league as well! Congratulations on changing the custom formation from league to this! Great news!Bale is back!

Man of the Match was our keeper Muslera who has been brilliant!Our defensive rock throughout the season has been Ferdinand who marshalled the defence expertly in testing times.Caulker has been an excellent acquisition from the free transfers.Thanks for giving me the chance to sign him! Adebayor is on fire at the right end of the season which is great for us! Walcott has been doing well in his chances as well! Adebayor and Walcott have formed a great partnership!Song and Khedira are top in the middle of the field protecting the defence and starting attacks.Khedira is probably Mr.Consistent!Milner is excellent for us as he is versatile.Looks like I have finally persuaded you of his importance.He is better than Johnson who is another attacking weapon!Bad news is Ansaldi who has been another great free pick up and our best LB is injured and I hope he recovers.Bale's injury has been a blessing as it is likely we won't lose him and he will prove vital in our quest for glory!!!I will prepare a report/dossier on our final opponents-Astropussy!

Play a similar team to our last league game which we won emphatically against Mordor!Play Walcott and Adebayor up front as they are a deadly duo in form!Play Dembele for Silva as he played well last game! Silva plays better if he is rested which is something I've noticed as he has played a lot of games!Keep same defence as we have kept 2 clean sheets in a row.Last time.we tinkered we got beat 3-0.So Ferdinand should play!This is what we can learn from RM!WE do well when we don't tinker much with our defence!

I'll get Dembele on. I want to try giving Tevez a chance. I'm sure he'll come back into form soon. Ferdinand I would never drop but he's injured so giving Garay a game.
 
Walcott and Adebayor is a good partnership like Carroll and Tevez so do keep the pairing!

Looks like we got the big decisions right! You were intent on playing Tevez and he delivered the goods with a valuable goal. Adebayor is in hot form and hope it may continue till the end of the season! The problem we had is that our lack of goals as none of our guys is in the top 5 but now Adebayor has got back to his best!Khedira is immense in the middle of the pitch.Happy to see you back Dembele after my insistence to have him in the team.Our new recruits have helped us from 4th to 2nd.Generally,Caulker,Walcott and Ansaldi have been integral to our recent successes!Dembele had a great match with 8 and his last 2 games have been his best.Looks like he is in great form.Luckily for us,Ferdinand was out for only 1 day and we got the 3 points.We were 2nd before this game and our rivals Biryani and Astropussy both lost so we have some advantage over them which is important for the last 4 games of the season!
 
Yeah very happy with the buys you've mentioned. Good to hear we've got a buffer between us and 3rd spot. Also happy to see Tevez back on the scoresheet, but Adebayor is immense. I'm thinking whether we should rest him a game before the final. What do you think?
 
Are you sure the cup final is next?Anyway,we are joint 2nd with Los Blancos so there is no margin for error in our quest for 2nd spot! I would play somewhere close to our strongest team with alterations!
 
Ibad did mention we were about 20-25 days away from the final. So might be a 1 or 2 league games before.

4-2-3-1 deep is a good formation in Cups. The next game is an EBC game so I was thinking something like this.Actually,you maybe right about resting players as we have lost Ansaldi from the last game an we have no LB.The only option is to resort to a 3-4-3 for the next game/or play Asamoah.

This is an option or 3-4-3(diamond) which may not be bad as our defence is better now and this formation helped us get a draw against Mafia earlier in the season.The decision is yours!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like there will be no LB for the final as they all have big injuries!Another option is to play Bale as LWB but that is not his preferred position so see post above for suggestions.We must get our tactics right!
 
Yes I think with two lwb out we should play 3 at the back. I've asked ibad how many games before the cup final. Might just get Ansaldi back.

I see you are giving most players a game so you can check their form out before the final.To be honest,I forgot about Johnson because of Milner and Walcott!This shows our strength in the wider areas!
 
Drew the last game against Entertainers! Silva had a poor rating maybe it is time you give Dembele an extended run!
 
The zizou Cup game is after our last league game so there is a bit of time. I'll keep swapping Silva and Dembele for now.

We are 2nd by 1 point.Joshila's team is 3rd.Biryani are 4th with 43 points but Zeeshan is not that active and have slipped up.The equation is simple:1 win and 1 draw to retain 2nd!
 
We are playing Vicious Waterboys and HPL!Get Murphy to do us a favour!Pick your best team! Anyway, I was thinking of playing Song in defence as we conceded 2 goals and he has done well there in the past!Do keep on playing Walcott as he has been in top form and was our best performer last game with a rating of 7.4!We got him of our rivals who we both predicted would be competing with us Biryani Royals!Good job swapping him for Matuidi and 5 Million.Thanks for letting us buy!

This should be our last game without Ansaldi as he's due to come back next game. Then we can revert back to custom. I'm willing to give Garay another chance. He hasn't been too bad.
 
OK. Hope we can get a win in this game as it'll relieve some of the pressure on the last game.
 
We managed a draw which was not good enough so we are 3rd by 1 point.All our rivals won so the pressure is on and it is out of our hands.Though Los Blancos do face Biryani Royals who are a good team so I hope they manage to get at least a draw!The equation is simple for us:we must WIN! Dembele was Man of the Match in the game whilst Walcott scored! We are playing Halwa Puri so we need to win!Ansaldi is back so reverting to custom is not a bad idea or to really go for it in an offensive way the option of 4-3-3 is still there!

Dembele is playing really well and is competing with Silva for a Final birth.Great dilemma to have in an important position of the park!
 
Yeah good to see competition for places. Much better than the situation we were in before the mid season Draft. Credit to you for the cunning buys.
 
Talk of that!Dembele scored and got Man of the Match yet we lost to 2-1 to HPL.So we are 3rd!
