Mob lynching in Jharkhand again: Beaten up for ‘selling beef’, tribal man dead, 2 critical

lol at jailing people on corruption. Like the BJP is clean from top to bottom :)) Modi might not be corrupt in financial matters but corruption is not just about money.

Dude, I'm not blinded enough to dismiss Modi-Shah's political abilities. Have given credit wherever due, purely as politicians. DK hasn't proved himself as big a strategist as Shah as of now. But that doesn't mean Shah is invincible. DK already gave him a scare in Gujarat and humiliated him in Karnataka when everything was in place for a hostile, shameful, morally despicable Operation Kamal. They had their governor, they had the money and they almost had the numbers. Poor Shah's still smarting from the image of DK standing guard on the footboard of the bus as he whisked the MLAs away.

The Karnataka alliance was always on shaky ground due to Siddu's personal hatred for the Gowdas. He thwarted every decent program that HDK tried to implement or propose during his brief tenure to ensure nothing worked in the state. It has been a personal and vindictive campaign by Siddu which is a crying shame for a former CM who did a lot of good for the poor and rural sections of Karnataka in his time.

The writing is on the wall. The congress stooges and allies are swept off and will be in the future. DK is in jail for corruption and laundering money in thousand of crores. Don’t generalise all Gowdas will vote for jds lol. it’s just logical they just lost a election by huge margins. That means they are rejected goods!

Tamil crowd was least I guess - got the lowest cheers.

Didn't speak in Malayalam among the South. Looks like he's given up rabada2

Modi and is BJP worshippers are seen as villain like clowns. BJP representatives in TN are "anti-minority". I put thtat in quotes because culture takes front seat over religion in Tamil. Therefore Christians and Muslims were never seen as actual minorities. BJP's lifestyle and pro-hindusm(which is different from the South and Tamil Saivism) is very different. No one worships Ram in TN. Also going after well reknown, respected activisits and film actors and accusing them of being "christians" doesn't work in TN. I can't speak for Kerala.

Are you nuts? Vaishanavism is big in south India. No one worships Ram. One of the holiest shrines of Vaishanvism Rameshwaram is in Tamil Nadu. I can go on and on about Vaishnavism in south India.

Don't teach me about my culture. Stick to your Jingoism. Vaishnavism comes far behind Saivism in TN. Again the Vishnu temple is not the most reknown temple in Rameshwaram, it is the Shivan temple that couple of KM away

I've had this discussion with him multiple times and have given up because I ended up getting very close to blasphemy.

For the final time. In the South we celebrate Deepavali, Vijayadashami (Dusshera) without really getting into Rama. The stories are different. Ganesha is involved.

In the South only Krishna is worshiped. And he is much lesser compared to Shiva/forms of Shiva/lineage like Ganesha, Murugan, Ayyappa.

Dussehra in Karnataka is about chamundeshwari assassinating demon king. Elephant procession in Mysore carries the goddess during dussehra. Nothing to do with Ganesha . Essentially good over evil. Same as deepavali.

Lord ram is held highly in Karnataka and Andhra , Rama navami is nothing but birth of lord Rama and ram is one avatar of Vishnu.

Krishna is big in TN. Don’t generalise as all south.

Dravidians were the early adopters of Hinduism and then later spread into different denominations across india.

Who said Ganesha is paraded in Mysore :)) Ganesha immersion happens a couple weeks or so before Dussehra. I was saying that several things blend into each other around the time. There are no distinct stories around the time.

Just like there are multiple Ramayanas. In case you've forgotten, Mr Global Citizen wearing an Indian crown.

Where is Rama held highly? Please educate me. I cringe when I hear South Indians celebrating Ram Navami in the last couple years. The most embarrassing is the ignorant look in the eyes of the older folk as they wonder who is this holy figure and what are we supposed to do :rabada2
