This wouldn’t have happened under Mohsin Naqvi’s watch. Glad to see Saim being cared for, even for a minor fracture.

Talking to a news channel, Ihsanullah apologised for his earlier statement, saying he made the decision in the heat of the moment after being ignored in the PSL draft:
Ihsanullah said, “There’s no plan for retirement, I announced the decision yesterday in emotions. When I wasn’t picked in the PSL draft, my friends & family also messed with my head and I announced retirement in the heat of the moment”.
The 22-year-old pacer expressed his gratitude to Ali Khan Tareen, the owner of Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Multan Sultans and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for sending him abroad for medical treatment of elbow injury.
Earlier, citing frustration over being ignored by franchises, Ihsanullah announced his retirement from the Pakistan Super League (PSL) after being snubbed in the HBL PSL 10 draft.
Meanwhile, Ali Khan Tareen also made a shocking claim about Ihsanullah, saying that he will never be able to bowl too fast again.
“It is a very sad development but we got Ihsanullah consulted with a top surgeon, who gave us a really bad news, saying that guys, I can do the surgery but no matter what I do, there is so much scaring from his previously botched surgery that his arm will never become perfectly straight and he will never be able to bowl in the same way because he does not have a straight arm”
Ali Khan Tareen added that it is so unfortunate that one person ‘ruined’ a player’s career to hide his ‘mistake.
“That’s why even now, he was bowling in domestic at 130-135, which is a high pace but he was our 155 [kmph] bowler,”
Agree. It's shocking to see a 22 year old youngster who has played just 1 ODI & 4 T20 is showing so much attitude and ego after PSL snub. PSL is a franchise based tournament, you have to earn a place as there is strong competition and every team has their own plans. Instead of announcing retirement and behaving childishly he should have focused on domestic cricket and aim for getting selected in national side. PSL opportunity will automatically come if you perform for national side. This is really a terrible behaviourSorry brother i disagree.
He is an adult, and he made alot of dumb statements in the past too. If you watch his social media videos, he has a big ego.
Big egos end up destroying their own career later. He is a talented bowler, but doesnt need to go down the route of making dumb statements.
Guy only needs to do 1 more season of domestic and he will back in action if he is under 30.
Are you sure?.PCB is run by different groups/lobbies.If a player has support from them then he will be looked after otherwise they will abandon you like Ihsanullah. This wouldn’t have happened under Mohsin Naqvi’s watch. Glad to see Saim being cared for, even for a minor fracture.
Draw a connection between saim ayub and mohsin naqvi. Whose lobbying for saim in PCB?Are you sure?.PCB is run by different groups/lobbies.If a player has support from them then he will be looked after otherwise they will abandon you like Ihsanullah.
Name some other Pakistani speedstars recently who were bowling at 150 and hitting 155KPHI think it would also be unfair to call Ihsanullah a special talent or an emerging star because he didn't do anything extraordinary when he got the chance to play at the international level against Afghanistan in the T20I series in the UAE.
Bowling at 150 km/h doesn't define a player's performanceName some other Pakistani speedstars recently who were bowling at 150 and hitting 155KPH
Nor does a single series define a player's performance. He was the best bowler in PSL. Was rushing all batters. Even Babar found him quick off the pitch. That in itself makes it special.Bowling at 150 km/h doesn't define a player's performance
He is finished.Multan sultan is staring a dept team in grade 2 and Ihsanullah will be part of that team and will train under their coaches aswell
You're pointing out the obvious. Let’s peel back a few layers.I am a big fan of Ihsanullah but his tirade & the backtracking immediately just shows he's mentally fragile & unstable. He has also given multiple & totally opposite statements about his fitness regiment as well as the cost of his treatment e.g. in one video he was thanking tareen jr. & in the other he was stating that he had to take a loan to manage his finances & is now totally broke.
Some of our cricketers have shown complete & total lack of judgment, composure, or just plain common sense when faced with adversary. This attitude is deplorable & if I consider that he's 22, he has his entire cricketing as well as non-cricketing life ahead of him & with this attitude, he'd not be super successful.
Great! This should have been done from the word go. The whole controversy could have been avoided.Multan sultan is staring a dept team in grade 2 and Ihsanullah will be part of that team and will train under their coaches aswell
Someone should ask Ali Tareen what caused the change of heart? Was it the media pressure?Ali Tareen steps up to revive Ihsanullah’s career
Multan Sultans owner Ali Tareen has once again stepped forward to support fast bowler Ihsanullah, promising him a place in his President’s Cup Grade-II team, JWD. The PCB-organized tournament is scheduled to take place in April and May.
In addition, after discussions with Ihsanullah, Ali Tareen announced that Multan Sultans would provide the 22-year-old Swat-born pacer with all necessary facilities and resources to help him reclaim his place in the national side and make a comeback to the HBL PSL, where he represented the 2021 champions.
“Ihsanullah is one of our own and we are committed to supporting him through these challenging times,” said Ali Tareen. “He will now be on our payroll, which means he’ll have the opportunity to resume competitive cricket. Moreover, Ihsanullah will have access to our Multan Sultans Academy in Lodhran, where our specialists will work closely with him to get his career back on track.
“I have spoken to our fast-bowling coach Catherine Dalton, who is equally committed to helping Ihsanullah return to his best. We supported him in 2023 when he first sustained the injury and we will continue to fulfill our responsibility to him now. We are optimistic and confident that he will be back in action for Multan Sultans in the HBL PSL.
“Our ultimate goal is to see him represent Pakistan and contribute to the national team’s success in major matches. Ihsanullah is a valued member of the Multan Sultans family, and we will do everything in our power to support him.”

Whatever the reason was, it worked for Ihsanullah. He should be playing domestic cricket and there is no way PCB should ignore him. He is a good bowler who was unfortunate because of injury otherwise he would have been playing for Pakistan right now.Someone should ask Ali Tareen what caused the change of heart? Was it the media pressure?
As they say “dair aye durust aye”. We welcome the development. But Ali Tareen has already caused the damage with his statements. Now onus is on him to recover Ihsnaullah.
Haha right? He's atleast late 20s. Same for Rashid Khan, he had a picture with a goatee from when he was supposedly 9. I feel most of our team do it. Noman and Iftikhar are the two shocking ones who come to mind. Agha is another one.22 year old This is Afghanistan level age fudging
The doctor in question is guilty of messing up COVID19 protocols during PSL 2020 or 2021, I don’t remember exactly.
Should never been hired back, but the likes of Sethi or Zaka Ashraf will never learn.
