Not bowling leg spin to let handers is a plan given to him by the management - this is very clear for the game so far.

I am not convinced with this innings tbh - Started hitting too late where in international cricket most teams will have GUN bowlers all the way through

He has steadily improved in every format over the past few years. Primarily a Test player and his form in the longer format has been there for everyone to see.
Everybody knows he's not a T20 player but his mentality and will to improve is commendable. He's been given the responsibility of captaining the side and he's played two good innings in 4 matches now.
Nobody's saying he should be in the Pak T20 squad but the "He doesn't deserve to play for Multan" brigade needs to settle down.

He showed great mental toughness today. At one point his knock was really making him look stupid but he recovered well.
+1 I wanted to see both of them playing. Its a farce really.
Might be deliberate so that Imad can always maintain his spot in Pak team.

You might aswell call everyone who doesnt bowl over 90mph a trundler then, hes one of englands key limited over bowlers, typical PP logic.
They should have played usama mir instead of Umar khan if the plan was to not bowl left arm spinners to MS left handers

Camera work has been really poor, not a single time we have seen Imad reaction whenever bowlers are going for runs.

To be honest most sides have gone with 1 specialist spinner in playing XI in PSL this season probably due to conditions however, it still doesn’t justify selecting Umer Khan and not even giving him a single over.
He is definitely not a trundler
Some one should ask Imad this question in the presentation ceremony. What was the logic of playing Umer khan?
Really good post. This is what I have been saying.
Shan isn't a great t20 player, but making him the captain wasn't the worst decision as he's fit, smart and has shown the will to improve his game.

Multan is not utilizing Afridi correctly. Come on owners and management, people are there for entertainment and this is not an ICC event that you would go with the preplanned batting order to ensure stability in the batting lineup. What's the point of sending Afridi for two or three deliveries where crowd has to witness hit and miss attempts. Just look at this mediocre Khushdil who was unable to clear boundary but was more interested in running doubles knowing that Afridi is already there for hitting purpose.

Multan were playing spin well and they had mostly left handers hitting into the wind. That’s why Imad only bowled one.Why Umer khan didn't bowled today? I didn't saw the match just seen the scorecard & was shocked that Umer was playing but he didn't even bowl a single over.*

Yeah bring more fixers back into team. So that our young players would do the same thing. Why not bring Salman & Asif back as well.
