I don't think your watching the game. They used Cottrell early to try and get wickets. They used Shami 3 overs early to get wickets. Also Cottell has not bowled well at the death so they had to try something.

Pollard is unmatched hitter of spinners. He has power unlimited and looooong levers. But if you watch his batting you will know he can't defend or rotate against spin. I have watched him for 10 years. Mumbai aren't wasting him. They use his just the right amount. Maximum impact
