My new Ca 15000 plus le, players edition & Ishan X1 333

Well finally they have all arrived and I must say I am very happy with my purchases. I will start with the x1 333. 10 pretty straight grains. 38mm edges with big bow. Picks up great weighing 2.11. Ping is very impressive.

Next the 15000 plus le. 12 grains ruler straight with a bit of heartwood on the edge. Massive 41mm edges and good pick up. This thing goes like a rocket and lives up to its expectations. Great bat however sticker application a little bit ordinary.

Finally the players edition. In my opinion it's no better than the le with different stickers and a big price tag. Profile is nearly identical. This one tips the scales at 2.13 but the pickup is like holding the le. 12 grains that are pretty straight. Slightly less bow than the le and pings just as good but have only got it tonight and have not knocked it in.

Can't wait to use them now. Both Ca bats purchased from Ca factory and X1 333 purchased from sailkot shop.

I paid US$270 for it which I believe is pretty good considering how well it hits. It was meant to weigh 2.10 but after oiling and clear face protector it's 2 11.5 however with its massive bow and good ballance it does pick up very well

I paid 36000 Pkr or around $350 Australian dollars for it including postage. Worth absolutely every cent in my opinion. You will not find a bat here in Australia of this quality with out spending at least $150 extra. Bat is now fully knocked in and I used it again yesterday with bowling machine and the balls were flying of the bat. I can't wait to use it in the games. This is my game bat the 333 is my training bat and the players edition t20 bat.

3 quality bats and the best thing I like about them is nobody has them here.

im also in contact with CA about buying the players edition ca plus 15000, they gave me the western union details and quoted me the price of 40000 PKR including postage to ireland, can you pay them online via western union ??

also did they tell you when your bat was dispatched and like gave you a tracking number or something ??

40000 is a good price for the players edition. I paid more than that for mine. Are you dealing with Hamza.

You cannot use western union via Internet. You will have to go to western union outlet to do the transaction. I have read somewhere on here that they do PayPal but you would have to ask about this.

Yes they will give you tracking number but sometimes it takes awhile for this.

you really think so 40000 PKR is good price, i thought you got yours from 36000 PKR, anyway though my friend has it and its a beast so well worth it.

are you sure you cant pay online, cuz i checked the western union website and you can pay to pakistan online and have to give the receivers name, and thats it.

I thought you couldn't pay online but maybe you can. No I paid this for the le. There is no doubt that the players edition is a great bat but to me it's a le with different stickers. This is only my opinion and others may disagree. The only difference I can see is the middle is slightly higher on the players bat and I mean slightly. Weather or not its higher grade willow I don't really know. It may be better willow but I can't tell by looking at the 2.

No bat hits good at the toe. You should not be hitting the toe. But what I can say is when you hit the sweet spot which is quite a big area look out

I had the same idea as you but they did put the extratec cover on. So I have now removed it to oil and knock in bat. Make sure you specify this to Hamza

Hi Guys, first post here, Desi Club Cricketer from Melbourne. currently using a CA 15000. ive got a question.

Is the Players Edition just another 15000 LE with different stickers. Seems its just another ploy by CA to make a bit of extra money. A LE in Players Edition clothing.

In my opinion yes. I have been using the le and the players bat and I cannot justify the extra money for the players edition. They both ping very well and if anything I like my Le better. More of a sales thing than anything else. When I purchased the players edition bat I had high expectations that it was going to be better than the Le but am a bit disappointed that it's the same. It does have a slightly higher middle but that's about it.

Thanks Jimbo, maybe by the time im in the market for my next CA the prices would have come down to realistic levels. i am an opener and love my square cuts so probably a good fit for me if around the $300 range.

Beautiful bats ! I own a 15k however the toe is slightly split because someone used a new ball without telling me Don't believe the fully knocked in thing my friend give your bats at least 3 hours minimum of knocking in and they do fly out the park hands down the best bat iv ever used or own !

hey jimbo, when you got your player ed bat, did you take the anti scuff of oil it or knock it it, or did you just knock it in with the anti scuff sheet on. thanks for your help dude

Yeah I took it off and oiled and knocked it. I then let the oil dry and have now put another extratec cover on it. How is your bat going. Are you happy with your purchase. Can you post some pics to compare the two.

Did they give you a tracking number with that. I must say I have not had any problems with goods not arriving from Hamza. I hope you get it soon mate. They are amazing bats and are hitting like a dream.

I think it's Hamza, they never respond to emails, so iv starting ringing them, they basically say all of their shipments got messed up cuz of hajj flights and eid holidays, they use pia cargo right now

Nope but I think I'm getting somewhere, the director supposedly was really ****** of about what's going on with my bat, so they decided to bring the bat back from Islamabad and once they get the conformation it's on its way back, they will ship another one via DHL this week.

They said that this never happened before, which I believe, I just want it to arrive like.

my CA PLAYERS EDITION ARRIVED in a Timely Fashion. The weight is 2.8 as i asked them so im happy even though they dont reply to emails, who cares as long as they deliver it within 2 weeks and as per specifications. Good to see they have changed the grip from the cheap one to the half moon one they have on the LE.

Ok season is now over for this year. Both ca bats above have scored over 500 runs. For those who say that Ca bats don't last then this is proof. Only quality balls were ever used and both bats show no signs of cracking on face or edges. I removed the factory fitted extratec cover and have oiled both bats 3 times. 2 coats before knocking in and 2 light coats throughout season. The only thing letting down the bats now are the stickers. Some have peeled and some have fallen apart especially on 3D effect. Handles don't show any signs of breaking and have got no extra flex in them.

As for the Ca gloves. I went through 3 pairs of gloves all of them ripping on the palms. The gloves are very comfortable but just don't last.

So for all the people out there that say Ca bats don't last over dried, poor handles bla bla bla I think alot of it comes down to how well you knock in your bat, the quality if balls used and correct maintenance of your bat.

yeah i think its just that pakistanis love cheap things so they probably use cheap hard balls with their CA 15000 or dont pay the £20 or whatever for knocking in or dont do it themselves properly 3-4 hours. lol.
