ok it's confirmed now Modi ji is going to Jaati Umra palace in Raiwind (Nawaz home) there he will meet Nawaz Sharif mother and grand daughter. Sushma ji also met Nawaz mother and daughter during her visit
 
Is Modi breaking any protocols here?

Hope the security arrangements are good enough.

Exactly and security arrangements are not that easy specially when an Indian PM is visiting Pak on short notice which require high security because even a very little incident can create lot of issues.

It's not the first time they did it many times in past too for both countries because we always needed a 3rd party to make us sit on same table. Remember UFA last year? the meeting was arranged by Russia and China

At times I think that news channels operate of pure business ideologies and are inconsiderate towards country's reputation etc.

It's always business interest for news channels,there is no interest of country for them.You can find few individuals from media who are neutral and wish well fir people for rest it's just TRP business and power what matter.

You are very ignorant of Indian politics if u think Modi based his campaign in 2014 on teaching a lesson to Pakistan.
The campaign was based on corruption free governance and his Gujarat model vs the corruption riddled UPA-2 Govt .

Congress 2 weeks back: Modi must be removed for peace talks to be resumed. Pakistan is welcoming but talks won't progress until Modi is in power.

Congress now: It is irresponsible and ridiculous of Modi to visit Pakistan when they haven't convicted Lakhvi and Hafiz Saeed.

True its not limited to Congress but BJP as well or any party for that sake ,although in recent times AAP has done it the most and its annoying coz personally had a bit more expectation from them.

That's Sharif family property. And a interesting fact for many indians if they don't know Jati Umra palace is named after a village from Amritsir India with name Jati Umra. Sharif family moved from that side of punjab to this side.

Indian steel magnate Jindal is in Pakistan for a couple of days to attend the marriage of Nawaz's grand daughter.
 
Congress have started their Media blitzkrieg against Modi, congress party workers are burning Modi's posters and effigy, the Indian media, most of which is in the pockets of Congress party will now run Anti-Modi campaign for weeks.
 
With billions on the bread line, it's good to see the 2 leaders talking. Let Kashmir be free of the 2 countries and the peace dividend could be used to tackle the real enemy-poverty.

The army is on board. The current NSA is a retired general. He met doval in Bangkok. This is all part of the recent string of efforts to normalise relations. One thing gujratis know about is paisa. Modi is no different.

Kashmir should be free but only after the region becomes stable and progressive. Otherwise, it could become a major headache from Indian perspective.
 
This is a master stroke by Modi Saab. All these so called diplomacy is to show the world that he tried his best to be friendly with Pakistan. But, when the time comes like we see in yearly basis terrorists trying to cross over the Kashmir border and Indian army responding very strongly like it happened in the last year.

Does anyone remember his speech in the UN? He said he offered POK relief work when it got affected by rain.

He is going to do the same with the border issues. When things get heated, He is going to say to the world he tried his best by going to Pakistan but they kept sending terrorists inside. Wait and watch. This is what's going to happen.

Columnist Kamran Shafi, a former Army Officer and later Benazir Bhutto's aide (I sort of know him because he's from Wah), once wrote about eating a meal prepared by Shahbaz Sharif's junior chef. Throughout the meal, he was told that this was merely the junior chef, the senior chef is miles ahead of him, and then Nawaz's junior and senior chefs are even better. Yet Shafi said it was by far the best meal he had had in his life. So you can imagine the sort of feast Nawaz has probably had prepared for this occasion.
 
Have to give it to Pakistani media, that they always welcome diplomatic talks and have taken the visit by Modi positively.

On the other hand we have the bikau, sickular Indian media which has a problem with anything Modi does. Congressi scrum are now complaining against Modi's Pakistan visit, and last month their leaders were talking about peace when they were in Pakistan.
