Nawaz Sharif in London due to illness - Discussion Thread

Did not expect such a panic from PTI and their supporters over the return of Nawaz.

Really? A guy is about to be deported( at least on paper), he has tried fake affidavits, fake audios and not forgetting fake illness and your claiming its the PTI panicking. Badniyaati brings its own logic.

Poor Mian sb is still so sick 2 years later and now returning to serve his nation in need of his quality leadership. Now we all know who is cult and who was a liar back then?

Please keep supporting the frauds looters and now dont blame others for questioning whether these frauds fake their health problems? Kulssom Nawaz's sickness was also exploited politically and so was Sharif's ..... You lot believe everything they say and look how embarrassing it gets.

Sharif mafia also tried twice in last 2 months to prove their cases were conspiracy and both attempts (fake Saqib Nisar audio and Judge Shamim statement) turned out to be FRAUD. Shame on anyone who supports such pathetic crooks.

[MENTION=131701]Mamoon[/MENTION] doesn't have the courage to defend his thugs. Whenever the fraud and lies are in the open he quietly disappears.

Thank you for the detailed information. This is indeed very concerning. Because of the mass media propaganda and the PTI trolling, it is impossible to get accurate reports over his condition.

PTI trolls will go to any depth. At this point, they don’t have an iota of shame or decency left in them. Kulsoom Nawaz had to die to prove that she was critical.

I really wish the Y word wasn’t censored here. Fits these trolls to perfection.

Do you have any Shame left after using fake reports to give fake analysis on a forum. Time showed that I knew more than you.

[MENTION=1269]Bewal Express[/MENTION] few people like NS has no shame, I don't know how does ha have supporters too.

The incumbent government wants to expose the “dubious” medical reports regarding former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s health submitted in the Lahore High Court. Last week, the government announced filing of a petition in the LHC, seeking legal action against PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif for guaranteeing the return of his brother, convicted former premier Sharif, within a stipulated time, but he did not.

A cabinet member told The Express Tribune that the real purpose of the government’s move is to expose the “dubious” medical reports of former PM Sharif. Secondly, the government wants to persuade the LHC to initiate a contempt of court proceeding against Shehbaz for not fulfilling his undertaking regarding the return of his brother.

It is learnt that both federal and provincial governments started consulting medical experts to verify Sharif's medical reports which were sent to the LHC in August last year. According to the initial findings, the medical reports did not match the physical condition of Sharif as the reports are well arranged for the satisfaction of the court, sources informed.

A senior cabinet member said that if it is proved that Sharif's medical reports are fabricated, the government may send its own medical team for his check up to the United Kingdom (UK). “We may even challenge his medical reports there.” The minister said that the government would approach the LHC after full preparation in order to expose Sharif.

The government is even considering to place Sharif’s video before the LHC wherein he had announced his return to the country soon. Legal experts believe that it’s more a political issue rather than a legal one. “There is less chance that the government’s move may have legal consequences against the Sharif brothers.” However, the government wants to get political benefit which is to expose Sharif.

Last week, Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry said the high court should have questioned Shehbaz for submitting what he termed as a "fake" undertaking. “[According to the undertaking] Sharif had to return within four weeks but he hasn’t even after a passage of two years.” In November 2019, Sharif had left the country after he signed a court-approved undertaking, saying that he would return to the country within four weeks.

Shehbaz too had signed an undertaking, which stated he would "ensure return" of his brother "within four weeks or on certification by doctors that he has regained his health and is fit to return to Pakistan".
Sharif was allowed to leave the country for a period of four weeks, extendable on the basis of medical reports. Back then, the government had agreed to allow Sharif to travel abroad, with the condition that indemnity bonds amounting to Rs7-7.5 billion be furnished.

The PML-N had rejected the condition and had taken the matter to the LHC, which ordered the federal government to remove Sharif’s name from the Exit Control List without any conditions. He left for London after he was released on bail from a seven-year sentence for corruption. Later on, upon his failure to appear before different courts, he was declared a proclaimed offender. Now, the government believes that Sharif is staying in London despite being healthy and, therefore, he should be brought back.

I am sure the Nooras were telling us that he was due back at the end of December, What happened?

Hahaha deal has been done , But army want captain Safdar to be Army Cheif while NS says no.

why did Imran Khan allowed a criminal to escape the country?

A mistake. He fell for their lies and has paid the price since. I remember some "Doc" on here telling us that IK was trying to kill the *****. I knew it was a scam but Kaptaan fell for it, but it wasn't IK that gave him bail. Who asked for his life to be guaranteed, who created the crescendo for his release?

so the pm is a bewakoof that fell for a scam? I just really hope our pm doesnt get emails from Nigerian princes..... Or else the debt of the country would rise. Very gullible man he seems according to you.

Nawaz was removed from ECL by the Federal govt.

ECL jurisdiction falls with federal govt due to an ordinance from 80s

Could care less if Naan serving politician spent rest of his live in London, Raiwind or Jail as long as he is never allowed to be part of Pakistan's politics. Money will not be recovered - any politician claiming it to recovered is just doing pre-election talking point.

PML-N and PPP are dying a slow death, most are unable to see it, as Pakistanis become more socially connected and are more aware of their rights as it already gradually happening, politician such as Zardari and NS will have no roll in Pakistan's politics despite how many promises IK has failed to complete, IK still a better PM if one were to focus on long term goals.

Billo won't be the PM
The singer aka Junaid won't be the PM.
Showbaz won't be the PM.
Calibri aunty too 'smart' to be PM of any kindergarten class.

MQM is history
PML-N and PPP will be if PTI elected in next election.

Interesting that you call him idiot for showing humanity to a crook that complained that he was dying . So what do you calm the media, the Judiciary and Billo, who all told us that the guy was dying when they knew he wasn't. Are you saying all these institutions are corrupt and the judges and journalists need to be arrested for being brought off.

Who called for his life to be guaranteed? Who gave him bail? Why did you evade these questions? Your hypocrisy shows through again.

PML-N and PPP will be if PTI elected in next election.

In politics you dont need to be at the front all the time. There is a concept called just sit back survive. Thats what PPP has been doing lately and will continue to do. If PMLN or PPP were dying a slow death than they would had never had seats in the Senate. PMLN and PPP combined have more seats than PTI in the senate, so plz explain to us the logic how these two parties are dying a slow death?

Also, for the elections, you dont win only on popularity. The electables play a big role who will sit with any party they deem is more powerful.

There is a high possibility PTI could lose the upcoming elections if its free and fair as everyone is angry and unhappy with the false promises that were made and at the end got more inflation. If Coco Khan is to lose the elections it would only be because he contradicted himself during the election campaign he did. He did all those things or all those things happened that he used to criticize the last govt in power for.

Interestingly, the upcoming elections dont even matter. It means nothing whether PTI, PMLN, PPP or some coalition comes in. Infact, any political party who wins the election is not an issue. Democracy needs to exists thats it.

Because the real elections are the 2028 elections. Imran, Zardari and Nawaz Shareef won't be part of that. Imran is the oldest of them all and he is offcourse not gonna be part of that election. Most of our politicians from the 80s would be retiring, too old to perform duties and some would be passing away.

The next in line are the likes of Bilalwal, Maryam etc. Infact Bilawal is still young and that is why he considered a future leader.

PTI could be in an identity crises after Imran Khan leaves as they dont have anyone to field as the chairman of the party or the face of the party to win an election.

Maybe the sons of Jehangir Tareen would be bought in, but even they are now thinking about joining PMLN if the rumors are true.

PMLN and PPP are not going anywhere, its PTI that could be. In politics, survability is an art itself and for the survival or the hibernation period PTI (if it would still exist) would have to fine a new face to help the party to survive. It is highly luckily maybe Murad Saeed is handed over the party reigns.....

2028 would be a new start of Pakistani politics. New faces would be coming in. Thus, to claim that so and so party is nearing its end is an immature statement.

PPP survived Zia forgodsakes.. The current scenarios are nothing compare to what Zia was upto. Youngsters today joke about "Bhutto Zinda hai" as they dont know the history of Pakistan and tha historical context of this nara. Zia wanted to eliminate the ideology of Bhutto as the guy had crazy support in Pakistan. Even after being released from jail on false charges those train marches exposed how he was still loved by the people which is what lead to Zia hanging him. The idea was to eliminate Bhutto ideology forever. They even killed the sons. Yet, somehow the party has survived (even though the country had to deal with AZ) and hopefully the socialist ideology would revive back.

Parties dont die just like that nowadays :)

Humanity? :)) plz, do you seriously believe that?

Well it's not an NRO because if it was NS wouldn't be ******** bricks in fear of going back to jail. IK should have never backed down from the mafia. I guarantee my last penny that you agreed with them at the time. If you didn't agree with them, paste a link hear. Thought not.

By the time 'youngsta' generation who were born with silver spoon get a chance, the Pakistan we know will be a different Pakistan, you just have to open your eyes to see it, especially if PTI were to get elected again, they will have no chance.

PPP and PML is a political party to protect and serve the emperor and the party of emperors are dying a slow death - what narrative are they going to run on? economy (lol), abba was disqualified (lol), military coup (not happening).

If PTI were to get elected again then all of them are history, they can survive as much as they want but they will be reduced to have minimal influence.

Neither 'barish atti hai tu pani atta hai nor 'the rock star aka Junaid' will deviate from the narrative of protect and serve the emperor and their stolen wealth unless both NS and Zardari had passed away by the time they get their chance - and again, if PTI were to get elected again then they will have no chance, hence slow death, neither PPP nor PML is capable of reform.

The whole scam was done to coincide with the fake Mullahs Azadi movement, the corrupt courts gave bail to the corrupt father and daughter. I wish the IK stops pandering to these crooks and shows them that they are just common criminals and dont deserve any special treatment. IK cannot control life and death and if he dies in jail, he wont be the 1st or last.

Read my posts. This is a sample. My gut instinct never betrays me. So let's see your posts on this. Don't tell me you didn't have am opinion on this.

It is difficult to comment without examining the report. However, bone marrow biopsy can lead to excessive bleeding in patients with low platelets, plus it can lead to heart problems which Nawaz has a history of.

Considering his present state and history, the chances of complications are quite high.

Are they know? Don't you feel like a fake Doc?

Rather than making silly statements lets stick to the topic shall we? You didn't answer my question. Based on history, Nawaz Sharif came back from London last time around to face jail. So what is your opinion based on that we will not return?

Why isn't he back? NS has made duped you again

Lol Billoo and Zardari are barely managing to get 4/5th place in any election outside of Sindh and here we have a jiyala dreaming of this corrupt khandaan coming back to power.

The federal cabinet decided on Tuesday that it would approach the Lahore High Court (LHC) to seek disqualification of the Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif for submitting a 'fake affidavit” and over his failure to bring his brother – convicted former premier Nawaz Sharif – back to Pakistan from London.

In the press conference after the cabinet’s meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said that the government, through the attorney general for Pakistan, will request the court to direct Shehbaz to either take steps to bring his brother back or be disqualified for submitting a fake affidavit, which is a violation of Article 63 of the Constitution.

The federal information minister said that the cabinet has given a go-ahead for seeking legal action against the PML-N President as he had guaranteed the return of his brother after receiving medical treatment from abroad within a stipulated time, but that has not happened.

“Shehbaz was fully involved in sending Nawaz Sharif abroad,” the minister said, adding the drama that was staged over Nawaz’s health was false.

Terming the ex-premier’s departure a ‘fraud’, Fawad said that the three-time ex-PM allegedly got no treatment abroad in the last 17 months and the medical reports that he sent to the Punjab government were rejected because they didn’t match the previous reports.

In November 2019, Nawaz had left the country after he signed a court-approved undertaking, saying that he would return to the country within four weeks. Shehbaz too had signed an undertaking, that stated he would "ensure the return" of his brother "within four weeks or on certification by doctors that he has regained his health and is fit to return back to Pakistan".

Nawaz was allowed to leave the country for a period of four weeks, extendable on the basis of medical reports. Back then, the government had agreed to allow Nawaz to travel abroad, with the condition that indemnity bonds amounting to Rs7-7.5 billion be furnished.

The PML-N had rejected the condition and had taken the matter to the LHC, which ordered the federal government to remove Nawaz’s name from the Exit Control List without any conditions.

He left for London after he was released on bail from a seven-year sentence for corruption. Later, upon his failure to appear before different courts, he was declared a proclaimed offender.

The government now believes that Nawaz was staying in London despite being healthy and should therefore, be brought back.

Meanwhile, the information minister said that the cabinet after being briefed about the Covid-19 situation has expressed the resolve to not impose lockdowns this time around, keeping the country’s economic situation in view.

READ PM asks Nawaz, his family to return and face ‘independent judiciary’

Explaining that vaccine worth $2 billion has so far been used, Fawad hoped there would be no need for a lockdown this time around.

At the outset, Fawad said that the prime minister and the cabinet expressed sorrow over the Murree tragedy, saying action would be taken once the inquiry committee submits its report in seven days.

While providing details of the incident, Fawad said that roughly 164,000 vehicles entered Murree, and people in only five vehicles died after inhaling carbon monoxide when they were stuck on a road between Guldana and Bariyan during a snowstorm.

While expressing sorrow and grief over the deaths, the information minister pointed out that Pakistan was witnessing a revolution in the tourism sector, and the relevant authorities should stay alert to cope up with an increasing number of tourists visiting different areas as the British-era system can’t accommodate a large number of people.

He said the cabinet has tasked the premier’s special assistant on tourism to apprise the cabinet of measures taken to organise the tourism sector.

Fawad said that the PTI government was developing 13 new cities or tourist spots, saying not a single one was developed in the last 75 years. He said that over 100,000 people had visited Kumrat Valley when the premier had shared photos of his visit before even becoming the prime minister.

Among other decisions, Fawad said that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) would be provided Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) before April 15, as ECP has said that local bodies’ elections should be held on April 15. He said that EVMs would be provided to ECP so that the next LG election could be conducted via EVMs.

Moreover, the minister said that a housing project on 400 kanal land was being launched for the overseas Pakistanis, saying it would have roughly 6,000 apartments and houses. Sharing the purpose of the scheme, he said that all the overseas Pakistanis who have Roshan Digital Accounts would be able to invest in the housing project. He hoped that the government would fetch roughly $2 billion from the project.

The minister further informed that the cabinet has directed the Ministry of Finance and interior to sit with the Board of Investment and deliberate upon a scheme where foreign citizens could be facilitated in buying properties in Pakistan.

Citing Turkey’s example, that recently allowed foreigners to buy properties in the country, he said if someone wanted to buy property at Kartarpur, they could. He termed the project a “game-changer”, adding that foreigners would be able to buy houses, hotels and invest in property businesses once the scheme was approved. He said the project would have complete legal protection.

He said that the cabinet had approved the Sambrial-Kharian Motorway, saying the prime minister has emphasised on initiating the Kharian-Rawalpindi Motorway. Among other decisions, he said, the cabinet has accorded approval for importing 50,000 metric tons fertilizer from China, adding that Rs50 billion has been given to Chinese IPPs and the ‘difference of opinion’ stands resolved. The cabinet also approved the Science & Technology and Innovation Policy, 2021.

During the question answer session, Fawad conjectured that PML-N lawmakers will leave the party one-by-one.

NS's wife passed away in London so there was no way anyone was going to stop the thief from leaving Pakistan to go to London for "treatment"...

If, however unlikely, the thief's health had deteriorated it would have been political suicide.
So PTI did the right thing by sticking to the court's ruling and not dragging it out through the legal process.

You missed the whole point of the post

PTI most likely won't get elected or they might with very thin margin, that is what PPP and PML are banking on to survive.

Billo, The singer, and Nani Calibri is the future of Pakistan?

Surviving.

To that I replied - none of the 3 will ever be PM of Pakistan.

I hails from Sindh, do visit, Billo has no future in Sindh politics.

And again you missed the point being addressed.

If democracy exists till 2028, than the 2028 elections and the campaign for it would be one of the biggest as the class of 80s will be dead or reitiring. Coco khan is older than nawaz and AZ. All three wont be part of the pm elections by than.

New faces would be emerging and those faces are the ones we already know. From pmln its going to come from the family. From ppp it could be bilalwal or someone from the party. We have had Yousuf raza gillani as pm in past.

Right now its about surviving by just sitting back.

New faces would be emerging and those faces are the ones we already know. From pmln its going to come from the family. From ppp it could be bilalwal or someone from the party. We have had Yousuf raza gillani as pm in past.

Right now its about surviving by just sitting back.

Why won't democracy exist in 2028, what are the indication that it won't, existing family dynastic political leaders are useless on arrival in 2028.

Of course, IK won't be running for the PM, that does not leave the vacuum that Pakistan is left with to only elect Billo, The singer and Nani Calibri.

You really dont know the Pakistani politics looks like..

We have had millitary coups and we are long due one. There had been rumors back in 2011 and in 2016 or 18 of such a thing happening.

If you knew Pakistani politics, you would know that as soon as PMLN last the general elections, they did the dramaybazi that we wont accept the results but accepted the results the next day. The reason for that is to make sure that democracy stays and the millitary doesnt end up doing a coup as its a lose lose for all...

2028 is going to be a big year, and there is a posibility that a millitary coup could come in place to make sure the new faces dont come.

Just because you dont like someone doesnt mean they wont get elected or cant. 2028 is going to be historical elections.

I do, Pakistani military will not and can not afford to go for another coup, the military is well aware of that fact.

Obviously 2028 will be historical election, only if PTI is elected in next election, if PPP and PML are then we are back to square one.

Attorney General for Pakistan Khalid Jawed Khan has requested the Punjab government to constitute a medical board to examine the reports of ex-prime minister Nawaz Sharif who is in London for over a year owing to health issues.

The AGP sent a letter to the Punjab government stating that undertakings were incorporated in the order of the high court.

"Pursuant to the undertakings given before the Lahore High Court, the petitioner (Mian Mohammad Shehbaz Sharif) through Counsel submitted eight documents claiming to be periodical medical reports in respect of Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif. The last available report dated July 8, 2021, was filed vide letter dated Aug 3, 2021."

"In view of the apparent present physical condition of Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif as available in the media and given the fact that he had left the country claiming to be in extremely critical condition which prima facie improved significantly after his arrival in London and the fact that he has apparently never been hospitalized and his political, social and other recreational activities have continued uninterrupted and regularly reported in media may indicate that severe ailment, if any, that may have existed in past is no longer evident or constraint his activities. This also indicates that Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif may be fit to travel back to Pakistan as per the solemn and binding undertakings and commitment made before Lahore High Court."

"This is further reinforced by the public statements made and reported in the media by his close family members, including Shehbaz, and other political associates who recently met him in London. "However, any firm view or opinion on his health and physical condition and fitness to travel could only be formed on the basis of independent expert medical opinion."

According to the letter, the federal cabinet discussed the matter and instructed the AGP office to initiate proceedings for apparent violation of the undertakings given before the LHC.

"In order to initiate the process of verification...the government of Punjab is requested to constitute a medical board/committee to examine the documents submitted as medical reports" by the Sharifs.

The purpose of this exercise is to seek an expert medical opinion regarding the physical condition of Nawaz and his ability to travel back to Pakistan, it added.

"The medical board may examine the documents submitted by the petitioner in the court and evaluate given all the known and reported facts and public activities of Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif to form an opinion, if any, on this subject."

"Once the expert medical opinion is available, this office shall proceed as per the order of the court," further stated the letter.

LAHORE: A medical board formed by the Punjab government to examine former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s medical reports has declared them ‘incomplete,’ ARY News reported, citing sources.

A medical board formed to examine Sharif’s health reports submitted in Lahore High Court (LHC) on the directions of the federal government reviewed the reports of the PML-N supremo.

A special medical board comprising nine senior doctors has submitted its assessment report to the federal government, citing the documents submitted in the LHC regarding PML-N supremo’s health as incomplete, the sources privy to the development said.

The documents only include the details of correspondence between the doctors and Sharif family no authentic reports regarding issues of platelets, bone marrow and other issues being faced by the former prime minister are provided.

The majority of the board members said that how can the doctors give assessment when the original reports are missing.

PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif left for London in November 2019 following his illness as federal cabinet had granted him permission to go abroad for medical treatment.

In the light of the medical board’s recommendations, the next course of action will be devised by the government to bring Nawaz Sharif back to the country and to initiate legal proceedings against Shahbaz Sharif as the guarantor of his brother.

ISLAMABAD: The Attorney General of Pakistan on Monday written a letter to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif and asked the latter to provide medical reports of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif within 10 days, ARY News reported.

In the letter, the AGP has instructed Shehbaz to submit Nawaz’s medical reports within the next 10 days to avoid legal proceedings over breach of his undertaking.

The letter further stated that legal action would be taken against Shehbaz Sharif and contempt of court petition will be filed in the Lahore High Court against him if he does not submit the report to medical board.

“A contempt of court petition will be filed against Shehbaz if medical reports did not submit to AGP office within 10 days,” reads the letter.

The AGP office said that Shehbaz was supposed to provide regular “duly notarised” medical reports of his brother to the court as per the undertaking given by him to the Lahore High Court (LHC).

“Pursuant to the order in terms of the undertaking, eight documents claiming to be periodical medical reports in respect of Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif were filed with the registrar of the court. Last available report date 8.7.2021 was filed vide letter dated 3.8.2021,” the letter reads.

On January 14, the Punjab government formed a special medical board to examine the medical reports of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, who traveled to London in 2019 for medical treatment.

Attorney General of Pakistan (AGP) Khalid Javed Khan earlier wrote a letter to the provincial government asking it to form a medical board to examine the former premier’s medical reports.

The federal cabinet had instructed the AGP Office to initiate proceedings for “apparent violation of the Undertakings” given before the Lahore High Court (LHC) to enable the PML-N supremo to travel abroad.

It is pertinent to mention here that Nawaz Sharif, who was convicted over corruption by the accountability court, had flown to London in November 2019, after the federal government allowed him to fly abroad for medical treatment.

There is no evidence to support Nawaz Sharif's medical reports being fabricated, says Attorney-General of Pakistan Barrister Khalid Javed Khan.

Speaking on Geo News show 'Aaj Shahzeb Khanzada Kay Sath' , the AGP said they do not want to initiate contempt of court proceedings against Shahbaz Sharif over the subject of Nawaz Sharif's return. Instead, he said, they want the situation to be settled amicably.

In response to a question about Nawaz Sharif's medical reports, Khalid Javed Khan stated that he lacks evidence to declare them fake.

In response to the Supreme Court Bar's constitutional petition, the AGP stated that if the subject of lifelong disqualification is brought before Parliament rather than the court, an attempt can be made to reach a consensus.

Earlier this week, the AGP had written a letter to the Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif to bring back PML-N Supremo Nawaz Sharif to Pakistan.

The AGP had instructed Shahbaz to submit Nawaz’s medical reports within the next 10 days. In case he fails to do so, contempt of court petition will be filed against Shahbaz, he had said.

LAHORE: The latest medical report of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has been submitted to the Lahore High Court (LHC), according to which the doctors have advised him to not travel, Geo News reported Tuesday.

The report has been prepared by the Director of Interventional Cardiology Dr Fayaz Shawl which was submitted to the court through advocate Amjad Pervez.

According to the report, Nawaz Sharif should stay in London until his angiography as it could worsen his condition.

The report further said that Sharif should continue his medication and take walks in the fresh air, adding that, “he should take precautionary measures to protect himself from COVID-19 and should refrain from travelling or visiting crowded places as the virus can have severe effects on him due to his heart condition”.

The report also revealed that the PML-N supremo is under severe stress after the death of his wife Kulsoom Nawaz and he is directed to continue activities without any mental stress.

Nawaz Sharif had started taking Empagliflozin 10mg to control his diabetes which has affected his kidneys; therefore, his condition is to be taken seriously, said the report.

In the report, Dr Shawl said that he can be contacted in case any questions arise regarding Sharif’s report.

Such medical reports make mockery of judicial system, laws: Chaudhry
On the other hand, the Minister of Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry called Sharif's report "interesting".

Talking about the report, he said that the doctor living in Washington has prepared a report about Nawaz, who is in London.

He took a dig at the ex-PM and said that the doctor living in a different country has reported that Nawaz is unable to travel, adding that "such medical reports make a mockery of the judicial system and laws".

Chaudhry called the report "fake" and said that Nawaz Sharif has an easy way out which is to return the money of Pakistani citizens and stay in London as "sending such fake reports will not help him".

He said that the only thing the report lacked was that Nawaz Sharif should only walk in Hyde Park.

The minister said that the Sharif family is sending a bunch of fake reports. "Hopefully the court will take notice of the fake report," he added.

The chore is now suffering from broken syndrome. I bet soon they will claim he is expecting

I can just laugh , oh My GoD our judiciary is a joke, and there are still clowns supporting this Darpook person.I can't believe it.

The cardiologist who has authored a recent report on the health condition of PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif has indirectly recommended that his patient should get married as he suffers from “broken heart syndrome”, according to Prime Minister Imran Khan’s top political aide.

Nawaz has been living in London in self-exile ever since he was allowed by a court to leave the country for medical treatment on a four-week bail in 2019. Though he has repeatedly pledged to come back, he never indicated when he planned to return.

The three-page medical report – authored by Dr Fayaz Shawl, an American cardiologist of Indian origin – was submitted in the Lahore High Court on Tuesday. It advises Sharif against undertaking any travel “without undergoing a definitive treatment in London”.

“If he [Sharif] returns to solitary confinement, he may develop what we call the takotsubo syndrome due to stressful environment” and it could have “devastating consequences”, Dr Shawl warned in the report.

Taking to Twitter Dr Shahbaz Gill, the special assistant to the prime minister on political communication, derided the report saying that besides other things the doctor has indirectly recommended that Sharif should get married.

Gill shared a screenshot from a medical website, www.svhhearthealth.com, which says: “takotsubo cardiomyopathy, or "broken heart syndrome", is when the heart muscle becomes suddenly stunned or weakened. It mostly occurs following severe emotional or physical stress. The condition is temporary and most people recover within two months.”

Taking a jibe at the report, Gill wrote: “Dr Sahib [Fayaz Shawl] has indirectly tried to recommend that Nawaz Sharif should get married” as he suffers from broken heart syndrome possibly caused by the demise of his wife, Begum Kulsoom Nawaz, who passed away on September 11, 2018 in London after a long battle with cancer.

Gill also shared another screenshot from www.health.harvard.edu which states that takotsubo cardiomyopathy “occurs almost exclusively in women”. Gill wrote: “According to Nawaz Sharif's doctor, now he has contracted the diseases that are exclusive to women. It seems that Nawaz Sharif is about to make a big splash.”

Gill questioned the credibility of the report saying why an American doctor of Pakistani origin was called to London to examine Sharif.

“All cardiologists in the UK have died. That is why Nawaz Sharif called a Pakistani-American doctor to London, had himself examined and then had a letter [medical report] of his choice written by him,” he further wrote on the microblogging site. “Your [Sharif’s] shenanigans and tricks won’t work anymore. Lies upon lies,” he wrote.

In another tweet, Gill corrected himself saying that Dr Fayaz Shawl is actually of Indian origin. “Does like always this yarn has also been spun by India? This Dr Sahib is originally from India,” he wrote and shared link to an Indian news website story about a March 2011 brawl between Bollywood actor Priyanka Chopra and Dr Shawl onboard a flight.

“According to Priyanka Chopra, he [Dr Shawl] is also fond of making films,” Gill wrote.

Making fun of the report, PM Imran’s aide further stated that Dr Shawl forgot to mention that “in order to keep the patient’s heart healthy, he should be immediately made prime minister; given two-thirds majority; 10 expensive apartments in London; and permission to humiliate security agencies and judges”.

Meanwhile, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry, while dubbing the Nawaz’s medical report “bogus,” has called upon the judiciary to take notice of such “illegal acts” to restore prestige of the country.

“An interesting medical report of Nawaz Sharif has been submitted in the high court today. In this report, Doctor Shawl, who lives in Washington, said that Nawaz Sharif, who resides in London, is under extreme stress due to Covid-19 and his medical condition does not allow him to travel to Pakistan,” he said while talking to the media persons.

He said such ‘dubious’ medical reports, authored by Nawaz Sharif’s personal physician since 2004, were only aimed at making mockery of the laws of Pakistan and judicial system. Submission of such reports would not help the PML-N leader to fulfil his objectives, he added.

“In my opinion, the easiest way for Nawaz Sharif is to return the money looted from people of Pakistan and then stay in London,” he noted.

He said ironically, there was only one missing thing in the report that it did not advise Nawaz Sharif to only walk in London’s Hyde Park.

The minister urged the Sharif family to abstain from preparing and submitting fake medical reports in the court and return looted money to the people of Pakistan.

State Minister for Information Farrukh Habib also took an exception of the latest development, saying the medical report contradicted the claims of the PML-N leader that Nawaz was returning to Pakistan.

“While the report states that Nawaz Sharif is afraid of going to jail,” he added.

Dr Fayaz Shawl is originally from Srinagar. He is a well known interventional cardiologist.

Rest of the report ka to bhagwaan hi malik hai.

Nawaz hai Diabetes. Report says kidney compromised, so likely diabetic nephropathy.

Now he is advised angiography, but if dye is injected, it may worsen the kidney function and he may land up with dialysis dependency.

So who will decide if he will undergo angiography or not?

I ma not a neohologist but as far as I know if it is working even 60 percent then you can inject the dye and taking precautionary measure like giving fluid before that . So it is a relative contraindication depending on different factors.
I don't think So NS cano be treated in Paksitan by the way.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday responded to the letter of the attorney general of Pakistan seeking medical reports of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, saying the letter was tantamount to 'contempt' of court.

The AGP office had warned him of contempt proceedings in case he failed to provide medical reports of his elder brother within 10 days.

It had said as per the undertaking given by Shehbaz to the Lahore High Court (LHC), he was bound to provide regular “duly notarised” medical reports of his brother to the court.

It was evident from the observations of the special medical board formed by the Punjab government to examine the PML-N supreme leader’s medical reports, the letter had pointed out.

In November 2019, Nawaz, who is convicted in a corruption case, left the country after he signed a court-approved undertaking, saying that he would return to the country within four weeks.

In his response, Shehbaz expressed reservations over the letter written by the AGP, saying that the words used in the letter were not appropriate. He said the AGP wrote a letter on the directives of the federal cabinet which was akin to contempt of the LHC order.

“I am unable to understand as to how the officer acting under the directions of the attorney general of Pakistan could not comprehend and understand concluding part of the undertaking which has been reproduced by him in para 2 of the letter under reference,” Shehbaz said in allusion to the letter.

“I have reasons to believe that the issuance of the letter is prompted by political motivation...the demand raised on its basis through the letter runs counter to the mandate and is completely out of scope of the [LHC] order dated 16-11-2019,” said the PML-N president.

It appears that the letter has been issued for "the purpose of media trial" to support the “dying political rhetoric” of the federal cabinet.

“May I respectfully state that issuance of the letter in a matter sub-judice before the Honorable High Court tantamount to contempt. Indeed, issuance of the letter is a contrived attempt to cause prejudice and influence pending proceedings,” according to Shehbaz.

A vast majority of people with diabetic nephropathy undergo angiogram, yes it does increase the risk for worsening of kidney function depending upon many factors and in majority of the cases can be managed.
