Yet the much lauded Fakhar is playing slower than even Rizwan and there's only 6 wickets remaining.

This is probably Fakhar's chance to displace Usman Khan from the starting XI

Should we try Abdullah shafiq, saud and tayyab?

Saud had a higher avg then rizwan and a 141 sr. Abdullah had a 53 avg, Haris can come in for usman khan and tayyab over shadab is shadab isn't bowling?

And fakhar can replace saim at opening as saim isn't doing anything?

Cause this squad isn't it.

Ofcourse full credit goes to @PakEngFan for Usman and @y33ny for Babar, these 2 identified flaws in their techniques and not transitioning atm, which explains their lack of form.

Credit to @Savak as well for figuring out shadab's change of bowling action and underlying injury causes.

^^ these 3 had spot on analysis.

One thing is clear, Babar, Usman and Shadab ain't cutting it.

So I think Abdullah, Tayyab and saud could be good replacements.

Ball not gripping now. Fakhar will be dangerous as will Ifti. NZ paying the price for dropped catches and not rushing their overs.
 
Fakhar needs to come back to opening bhai, his confidence is improving and saim needs to go for now, he isn't their yet.

That would be a disaster. Pakistan just don't do well with blind sloggers and Azam is just an extremely unfit blind slogger. The players who take their time to get going seem to be the best options unfortunately.

Tayyab is another Usman Khan with even less hitting ability. I have seen him play and he struggles with anything above 125kph.

Fakhar is still way better than all the new and old hacks, one of very few Pak batsman who can win the match on their own.

My point is simple that maybe you need to accept that the players Pakistan have all need to start slow since none of the so called big hitting modern batters ever seem to succeed. If Rizwan had played the same kind of innings that Fakhar is playing he would've got criticised but it's the best type of innings in these kind of games.

Rizwan is a slow batsmen not suitable for t20
And he is more concerned about personal milestones than pakistan winning

If rizwan was batting we would have already lost the game

We still have chance
 
NZ is throughly a professional outfit.. Neesham was nt in plans to bowl , comes in and bowls like a pro

Well that was Australia, the bouncy wickets innred ball cricket was something he wouldn't succeed in, many other bats were also poor but he was poorer yes.

Haris for me has regressed since the last T20 WC not that he played many games either.

His lack of cricket has really shown how he's lost his game sense and cricketing abilities.

You have to look at the context. Pitch has slowed down. Not easy hitting through the line. We know Ifti is capable of a higher gear, and yes we need to see it now.
