New Zealand (194/4) beat Pakistan (193/5) by 6 wickets in the 5th T20I in Rawalpindi - Series drawn

The bowlers have lost this match. If they can't defend 110 odd in the last 10 overs with only 2 recognized batsmen left, then what can they defend?

There is no home advantage for Pak. Most teams have far more firepower on these type of tracks
 
Shadab seriously needs to be dropped. He can't bat and can't bowl. What good is he for?
 
Overhyped PSL legends cannot even knock over a NZL B team.

Very demoralising seeing what Pakistan cricket (well the nation generally) has become.
 
Babar is just pathetic. kept ihsanullah out the entire series and puts him under pressure in last game

Poor captaincy by babar..who does ge not bowl from part timers ot 6th bowler.

Once again he has cornered himself in the death overs as he has to bowl with what he has already has

Even now if Pakistan bowl well, they can win. Pakistan batting would have certainly bottled this.

Looking at rizwan selfishness at the the end of pakistani batting they deserve to lose this. I am happy

I remember when Chapman made his debut and the amount of failures he has had prior to this series. Good on NZ for sticking with him.
 
Hype over some average pak batters in the PL who as expected would struggle against any half decent international team
 
Allways one relatively unknown (to me atleast) player becomes dangerous against Pakistan; Salt, Brook, Bracewell and now Chapman.

Chapman is actually a good batsman, so good on him to score a century, but yes we do have a habit of making new players or mediocre players look good hahaha

A nice IPL contract loading for Chapman next year :) . He earned it by performing against the greatest t20 bowling attack in the world. On his way to IPL to bash the trundlers.

We were better off in UAE conditions. I dont know no but some overseas players enjoys pakistani conditions more than our own players. Very strange phenomenon.

I have seen australian team annihilating pakistan great team in late 90s. Even slater made 300 on peshawar track without any issues
 
Great inning by Chapman and poorbowling by Shadab and wasting a spoton Faheem cost Pakistan.
 
After first 2 matches i was hoping for a clean sweep against this nz B team. But well done pakistan, once again they proved that they are the worst at home.

Pakistan team is a good mid-tier team capable of beating any team on its day.

Knockouts means anyone can have 1 good day against anyone.

Consistency is what determines how good a team is.

Aus and Wi obviously in their time were leagues ahead of the next best.

These days the margin is not so much.

Pak pitches are the flattest in the world

I still remember Ganguly saying that they were the best batting pitches in the world

No, Pakistan have always owned them. Pakistan raise their game playing with better teams, but they always play badly against lesser teams.

They should have won this series 4-0 but well done to Kiwis.

Your thinking of WC games. New Zealand over the past 5 or 6 years have improved and have beaten pak a fair amount
 
Mickey Arthur is known to be a hard task master, in your face coach. I am hoping he gives these guys a real tongue lashing because honestly speaking this is what many players in the team need. 90% of the players in the team are in comfort zones where they know they just need to perform once in every 5 games and regardless whether the team wins, loses a series, the captain will always pick them out of favoritism.

First time I would agree with you on this. He was pathetic in last 4 overs. But still its the bowlers who lost the game today.

In T20s I think Pakistan have won some 20 matches whereas NZ have won 13 matches, so still way ahead.

They scored 121 runs for the loss of no wickets from 57 balls

Over a Zoom session?

He only deals through Bradburn till he is actually there for the World Cup. Not sure if the players take Bradburn seriously as he seems a too much of a nice guy.
