Dhoni needs to go, the innings he is playing now is clear indication of it, we don't need someone just rotating the strike in T20s. Pant needs to be the permanent keeper with Gill batting up the order..
 
Feel sad for Karthik. Poor tour. Unlikely to be in WC squad. May be KKR also changing captains. Think his Carrier about to end

Dhoni literally won you a series in Aus a month back. As if Pant would have been able to do that.

You know how mediocre Dhoni as aT20 player right? All through his career. Never won a match for India. They are playing him mainly because they want to give batting practice for ODis. same with Karthik, same with vijay shankar. They are part of the ODI set up. That is why they are even in the T20 side.

However for you proof is in the pudding a full strength Indian side destroyed your full strength NZ side Refer 3-0 ODI to win the series at your house. When our Captain went sight seeing in NZ, along with us trying out new combination of players you finally won a game in the ODIs,... So :rabada

lol yup. When he started the tests they were all making fun of him. In the end he had the last laugh. record number of dismissals. Featured in world XI for the year. Won emerging player of the year award.

We had enough good highlights in our odi win, this is us being good guests, but pak ofcourse outperformed us on that frong giving SA so many good highlights by failing to win any series.

See,the fact is that we are not minnows .I f we play well we want victory and if we play badly we should lose ,nothing in between.Respectable losses,moral victories are not for us.We are the best team in the world(all formats combined) and we like going for the win ,even if it costs us some respect.

Dhawan's been among the highest run getters in IPL in recent years and scores at a good strike rate too. If he's not a "sizzler" then I don't think there are many Indian openers that are. Krunal Pandya is a big player for Mumbai Indians in IPL as well.

Pant has scored big 100's in ENG and AUS, he is more talented than any Batsmen you have currently. Just because he had a low score does not mean anything.. Ahh well why we arguing anyway ? It's not like you lot will ever win the ODI WC lol....

I think KL Rahul was more effective so was Pant compared to Dhawan
 
The kiwis the better team today and its ok , just a t20i. The funniest part is the one troll who seems to follow the India team more than even some of the Indian fans and gloats when India does badly while his own team is being owned in the one format they are good at by the South African c side.

I've seen NZ win more WCs in the last decade than you've probably seen India win in your entire lifetime.
 
What I like about Lockie is his ability to maintain his pace throughout his quota of overs.

Vijay Shankar scored 27 off 18. He didn't do anything bad on his part.

New Zealand themselves have Kuggleign who you called their Mohammed Siraj. There's no Boult or Guptill either.

So much for only Pak playing strong teams . Both teams have nearly all their best players playing except for Boult,, Bumrah and Kohli (Rahal and Rahane have been discarded from T20 as they are flops).

Tbh I don't really know what our best team is. Usually we just play our ODI team + a few hacks/bits and pieces cricketers.
 
Karth8k is like Shoiab Malick.
Pandaya is like Hasan Ali
Vijay Shankar is so bad that even Pakistan dont have a worst stock than that
 
Promising performance by NZ here. We have been awful in the format the past year.

Worst loss in India's history by runs (80 runs).

It's T20, so India can easily come back strong for the rest of the series. All depends on who clicks on the day.

Eden Park should be a high scoring game, ground is tiny and mishits will fly. Going to be tough for the bowlers.

This has been one of the most one sided contests I've seen in a while.. but some of NZ's big hitters have been an absolute treat to watch..
