just started listening 118/0 and 2 no balls already from tanvir....dont know if its tanvir ahmed or sohail tanvir

if it's any consolation, it is pretty hard to lose a game in three days.

Rehman is a decent ODI spinner who can dry up the runs but in test's he is not a wicket-taking bowler and Ajmal should have been played instead!

it's time to call up mohammad talha, he'd be 10000000000000 times more effective than sohail tanvir

nothing in it for pakistani bowlers but watch the kiwis bowlers they will bowl lot better and get the most of the pitch.

This is turning into an England warm-up game performance.

175/1

Watling not taking time to settle down & the pak bowlers dont seem to be creating that pressure to lead onto a wicket or 2!

Looking toothless minus Asif & Amir. Hopefully they just aren't trying..

shocking stuff, well what else did u expect when we choose a team full of t20 bowlers.
:rehman:gul:wahab:sohail

lol why is everyone reading so much into this, its just a practice game where bowlers want to get some match practice before the game, but dont want to exert themselves, an its probs a flat pitch with small boundaries.
relax its just a bit of fun :yk

Doesn't look like Tanvir's bowling is 'suiting NZ conditions' right now. While he's bowled a couple of maidens, his other 7 overs have gone for 52.

10 no balls bowled by Pakistan as well. Only 54 overs. (no jokes needed :asif)

Pretty shocking stuff.

Seriously ... this "dheela" attitude and casual play by bowlers warrants some sorta scrutiny towards Waqar Younus. Is this how the bowlers are training under your wings ???

This is the problem with making Waqar head coach. As bowling coach, these lazy little mistakes were stomped out a bit (in both of Younis' stints - 05 & 09) but now he has batting and fielding on his plate and has very little help from other staff. Aaqib is still there so I think he should probably get more of the blame for this problem.

Real poor performance by our bowlers ... we are gonna miss asif and aamer badly in the test series

are we playing in NZ or india. seriously must be a road of a wicket.

if it were a 5 test series, the likes of azhar, asad misbah would end up averaging 50, even gul would score a couple of hundreds

omg all of a sudden saeed ajmal is playing lol

he just bowled 2 overs

i think they dropes hafeez for ajmal half way through the match lol

mayb he got injured

Just imagine yar ... what qualification and experience does Waqar have to fix, improve, and upgrade our batting? what does he know about grooming a raw talented young batsman into an international level player (for example Azhar ali, Asad Shafiq, Umar Akmal, Fawad Alam etc). In Pakistan we don't have the luxury to produce Tendulkars and Sehwags every other day, we dont have the trees where Dravids and Husseys grow, we must work our rear end off to produce just ONE good quality batsman who is sustainable and reliable in all conditions...... and I am not even talking about the entire BATTING.... forget about developing focus, improved stroke making, playing mind games with bowlers, frustrating fielders and bowlers alike, improvising for singles and doubles, technical foot work, developing patience, using a full fledged back lift, playing with a straight bat, improving bat speed, developing ability to play well under pressure and respond aggression with aggression. Forget all that !!!

Just look at our absolutely pathetic running between the wickets for example....how is Waqar gonna help ??? what does he know about running between the wickets ??

Mate our bowlers are poor they are not test standard

And seriously do u expect Azhar and misbah to average 50???

I am predicting none of our batsman is gonna score hundred in test series

100% agree with you, i have been thinkinh of this for time.
forget the past and the old coach's working in international cricket.

lets talk about last 3 years, 2 of the most improves team in the world england and india both have technically directors who have played cricket in the last few years. they know what it takes to be a technically strong team.

i have no problems with waqar being the bowling coach, but we need a proper coach, who is technically good. someone who has played international cricket in the past few years.

Mcullum is looking in great form! He's flogging everybody at there!

He will be the batsmen that Pakistan would want to get out early.

Waqar is an excellent bowling coach but it was just dumb to make him head coach. Pakistan's head coach should always be someone geared towards batting imo, even Lawson wasn't a great choice.. as for Intikhab?.. lol, let's not go there.

:moyo should become coach.

McCullum nearing a double ton. 191*..

... he's only faced 201 balls. :afridi :razzaq
